Hello everyone, I would like to join the group. I have been TTC for 2 years finally had a Lap done and found out I have adenomyosis in my tubes and they are both blocked. Well since my Lap in July, AF has not been back to visit. The plan last month was to wait one more month to see if AF will shows up. Since we are now in October and she did not visit my RE wants me to come in on Friday for an ultrasound and BW so see where I am in my cycle. Then I will either start BCP or start stimming (I think that's what it's called). I'm hoping to bypass the BCP because time is not on our side, the Army might be moving us out in January... Anyway that's where I am rights now, sitting here waiting anxiously for Friday.

Akdelp-I know what you mean. My RE's office always calls with results in the afternoon. And, with Beta results it's alwas my RE the one who makes those calls, its never the nurse. I am keeping my fingers, toes, and everything else crossed for you. I cant wait to hear the great news. And your welcome about the quotes. I am glad you enjoy them and hopefuly you find some motivation in them.

Rosie- well, both Juliana and Bill find kinda bug me but I too watch them occasionally and same with the Kardasian’s. Yay for brainless reality TV! Is not as if I can’t miss an episode, actually most of the ones I’ve seen were replays. I don’t think I’ve seen G&B last episode but judging from the flat belly she had at the EMMYS, I dont think she is pregnant. I sure hope the best for them and every woman out there going through infertility and IVF treatments.

Leora- waiting 2 more weeks and gaining so much in return sounds good to me! I am glad you are having a good time at your new job! Good for you girl! Things are changing and looking good honey!

Lauren319- Seriously! Gray pubic hair!! You are hilarious girl!!! Thank God for waxing option!...no gray hair nowhere for me, YET! But I am sure once one pops up hundreds will follow! Don’t worry though, gray hair don’t come with age or family status! I have girlfriends that had gray hair from the age of 25 and others like me at their late 30’s that have kids and still no gray hair. So tell your “nana” to hang in there and babies are on the way!

Sunshine1576- Glad you had a great time at your Fall/neighbours party! I love parties and gatherings! Before we got really “deep” into the IVF rollercoaster we used to have them all the time. Once a month minimum I used to organize theme nights for our friends eg. Poker nights, with all the casino equipment, cards, chips, bunnies going around serving drinks, not realy! I am the bunny in my house ) etc, 80’s nights, 90’s nights, karaoke nights (hilarious stupid performances!), cheese and wine nights etc with a play list and snacks/dinner and drinks and dancing all night long. Good old days! We still have them but not so often...

Tuffy- woohoo!!!! Congrats on the second line girl!! that is awseome! can’t wait for your beta!

Greekchick- hey there filenada!! Pou xathikes? I am so glad you’ve found us again. What are your plans for now? Have you done your checks? I really wish you get your BFP this time!!

Tess- I am sorry honey, negatives are BAD! but is all part of the IVF journey... But I am glad you are ready to get into the game! I love your positivity! keep up that PMA!!! it can only do you good! I hope your FET in Nov gives you that BFP and a healthy baby! There are several studies now that show FET’s might work better for some women better than a fresh cycle. Good luck! We are all cheering for you!

AFM- had a busy weekend ladies...starting Friday night, where I’ve decided to make Mousaka (Greek dish) even though I LOVE Mousakka I have never made one because it takes hrs to prepare it and cook it! and I had an epiphany Friday morning to make one! I am so glad I did! I invited my MIL and SIL for dinner and I am so glad I did, Mousakka was awesome. Nicholas loved it and told me he is proud of me! OMG! For doing mousakka! Of course both my MIL and SIL told me it was delicious and they all agreed it was the best Mousakka they ever had. Ok, I admit it, it was really good. Hell! I am proud of me too! It took me around 3hrs to make it but it was SO worth it! me and DH finished the last bite last night! Saturday we spend the day watching The Good Wife at night we went to my MIL for dinner and then out for drinks with friends. Sunday we spend most of our day in the garden and then afternoon went to the old town for a walk and ice-cream and then at night we continued our sitcom. OMG!!! I am telling you we are addicted with this one! Don’t ask about Hanna! We haven’t seen her yet! Every time we said let’s put Hanna or see another episode we choose the episode and it goes like this all the time everyday..well, 2 more episodes to finish season 2 so I am guessing we are watching them tonight and tomorrow before we start season 3 we see Hanna!...

I received an e-mail on Friday from that company I was telling you that I applied for the job and they say that they will contact me sometime this week to go for an interview. It sounds like a really good job but I will know more when I go for an interview. I will keep you posted.

Had an amazing workout this morning with bodyrock.tv and my legs and bum still hurt!! I can’t imagine how tomorrow is going to feel! Urg! I am started getting in good shape like prior to IVF and I it feels good!

Had a bit of spotting today so and that means my AF is around the corner! tomorrow maybe. YAY! I better have that talk with DH about starting the natural IVF cycle on CD7. I hope he gives us the green light! ...I am getting excited!!!! I guess I will see if I get the job this week and then I will decide. I still have some time before CD7. My AF hasn’t officially started so that gives me some time.

So it is officially one month before my transfer and I swore I was not going to become crazy about this cycle! But here I go...its all I think about. I am so ready but also so nervous! I want this so badly....I don't want to continue to live my life day in and day out always wishing for something I do not have. I really want to be content with my life and I feel like at some point I will have to give up this dream if this cycle doesnt work and our adoption contract runs out in the spring. If it was not about money I would do IVF and adoption until I was successful, but realistically, I can no longer burden our lives with this. We never spend money on anything because of what we spend doing this. Can I be happy if one child? I know I sound awful to those of you who do not have any children....I was in your shoes at one point also....but my dream was to have 4 kids....now to think that I may only have one is just not what I had planned! I know that my son brings me nothing but happiness, but he also deserves siblings. UGH! Please let this work! Sorry for the emotions....I hate having no control!

Anton-so nice to hear from you as always. I know it was crazy of me to think that I would get a positive HPT today. I just had to try. I went to the dollar store and stocked up for the week. I am praying s hard for a positive HPT, then a positive Beta, and, finally a happy healthy baby. I know I am not in control of the results of this FET but I so want to know if it worked. So I dont know if I ever shared with you that DH is Greek. I actually converted to Greek Orthodox about 8 years ago and I enjoy so much attending the Greek Orthodox Cathedral in our neighborhood. Mousaka is one of my DSS favorite dishes. Whenever we go to one of the local Greek restaurants he always orders that dish. Best of luck making it. But I am sure you wont need any luck as you are such a great cook I dont know alot about the natural FET cycle. If DH gives the green light, what is you next step?

Neffi-I konw what you mean. I always feel like I need to be in control but one thing I have learned is that with IVF we are not in control. I dont know if you pray but praying makes me feel better. Reading spiritiual and inspirational quotes also makes me feel better. I will definately be praying for you. The waiting is always the worst and it always seems that with IVF we are always waiting for something. Sending you a big hug.

OMG, I am shaking. I am sooo nervous. I GOT A BFP!!!!!!!!!!!! BETA was 205, Progestrone was 45.3. Going from shots to gel or something...YIPPIEE!!!!!!!!!! I am so nervous. Ultrasound is October 20th at 7:30am! I will rest easy after this, since last time was tragic. OMG! BFP, BFP, BFP, BFP! I think I am gonna cry....I am such a dork.

wehavehope- I already made the Mousaka on Friday and it was delicious! i am glad your DSS likes it. yes! now I remembered that you daid your DH is Greek...good luck with them Greeks so, if DH gives green light then CD7 I am going in for monitoring b/w and u/s and then some more monitoring until my golden egg reach the expected size and then i go in for ER and ET if all good with egg, fertilization etc. same as a standard IVF cycle but meds and much more wiating IF all is good for the next step. IF all good, which I hope everything will be good, then by end of the month I will have my BFP! ...it al depends on DH now and kinda on how the job interview goes. but like my OB told me 1 of 3 attepmts work. so is all waiting and waiting and more waiting!

Regrettably I will be leaving this forum as I have found that some here are very judge mental on my decision to use sex selection in my choice for having a baby. I have not or don't judge anyone on here for there decisions to have a baby or add to there family and am very saddened that some feel they must judge my decision in life that does not effect them. My husband and I are using microsort+ PGD in order to conceive a son. My desire for a child is not lessened because I have a child, I think the women on here who have children can contest to this.

Me and my husband had already decided when when we chose this course of action to donate any embryos we do not use to help other couples have a child, because I don't feel that biology makes a parent. If I can give that gift to an infertile couple then I think that is a wonderful gift. Adoption was our first choice, but if any of the women on here have looked into that, then they too know the difficulties and expense involved with this.

I wish all the ladies on here the best and trust me as much as some on here think my desire for a child is any less than yours, you are wrong or that I may not be deserving because I have children, then again you are wrong and you shouldn't judge, its wrong, but I still wish you women the best.
