We have hope: Thanks for your kindness and prayers. Unfortunately when I had my scan this morning, the heartbeat had stopped. There had been some growth but not enough to support the heart beat. The doctor was very kind and I also saw the doctor who was to be my OB. He was also extremely kind. I am having a D&C on Thursday. I couldn't bear having it on Wed which will be my 40th birthday and also the date my Mum died three years ago. That would have been too much. So I'm scheduled in for Thursday morning. We will try IVF again but right now all we can do is grieve this loss. I'll post on the Fall Board too as people there have been very good to me.

Again, thank you for your prayers and thoughts and I hope you are feeling well.

Ninde, I am so sorry to hear your news. I was reading your post yesterday as I was waiting at the doctors office for my ultrasound. I was in tears when the doc came in.
AFM My ultrasound was good, got to hear/see the little heartbeat. I wish I could have one everyday. I think it would make this whole pregnancy easier. I have another one in 2 weeks and then the RE will release me to my OB

First, I want to say how sorry I am to hear the news, Ninde. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Moorebaby- That is awesome news! My due date is May 19th according to my ER date, but I dont know if they will adjust it according to the u/s.

22years- again...great news. looking forward to hearing about your next u/s.

AFM- I'm having issues with spotting and it's literally driving me insane! About 2 weeks ago I was in a car accident. It was very scary, but I am ok. The next day after using the bathroom I noticed a brown discharge when I wiped. Freaked me out, but I know it happens. The next day after a shower I noticed something dark on the towel, so I wiped and saw a thin rusty color..I freaked so much I went to the ER and swore I was losing the pg. AFter a pelvic, beta and u/s, everything showed ok and I was told to f/u with my OBGYN. I did that and Dr. saw a little brown on my cervix, but everything was closed, etc. I asked him to order a beta so he did and all was well with that. A few days later I went to my RE for my most recent u/s and as you can see all was well. He said that he couldnt explain the spotting and maybe it was my hormone levels. He wanted to start tapering me off of the estrogren and progesterone, but wanted to see my levels first. At the end of the day I got the call from the nurse to start tapering. That evening before bed, I wiped and saw that same thin rusty discharge, which caused me to sleep terrible all night. I kept waking up expecting to be covered in blood. Since then (4 days) I have not had anything- until now. I just went to the bathroom and saw thin brown on the toilet paper. What on earth is going on?? I've heard of spotting, but not this often. It seems like every few days I am finding something....I dont want to pee anymore! Any thoughts??

Hi mandarae. I'm sorry you have all this stress. I have heard of off and on spotting. Sometimes there is old blood lying around the cervix and that's what the spotting can be. You have also had the car crash which may be contributing. I think as your beta and ultrasound have come up as normal you should be ok. Keep in touch with your really and your ob and rest as much as you can.

---CRASHING---

Good morning ladies,
I hope everyone is doing well. Once again, I'm not sleeping very well and like others on the board I'm having very vivid dreams. Last night I had a nightmare that I had a positive HPT one day and positively a negative test the next day and when I went to test instead if yellow urine coming out it was red liquid. Ahhh. I know it's just a dream but geesh. Well since I could sleep anyways, I of course POAS again this morning. Well, I'll let you ladies be the judge. I'm not celebrating yet. I had this same situation happen last cycle and it ended up in a MC. So praying that this time is different.

I am so sorry to hear the bad news. I feel for you. I had a chemical and a D&C before so I feel your pain. I wish I had some words that can make you feel better. But time can help heal. Also don't give up hope please. I'm glad that you are going to join the Fall board. I have a friend of 42 when she started trying. She tried multiple times at a local clinic didn't work went to CA and tried one more time and delivered a beautiful girl at age of 44. It will happen hon. Be strong.

Hi yingz thank you very much for your hope. Im not sure how long it takes for the body toreturn to normal after a d&c before we can try again? But I know we only have finances for one more attempt.

We have hope that's looking pretty positive to me

UGH!! When does this craziness end?? Today at work, I had a gush of blood. Ran to the bathroom and was literally stuck on the toilet. Gushing blood and clots! I left work and went to my OB who checked my cervix and saw that it was closed and sent me for an u/s. The tech would not let me see what they were looking at so I had no clue what was happening. After a long agonizing wait, my OB told me that all looked fine with the little bean and heartbeat was at 134. He did see a small bleed or sub chorionic bleed around the placenta, but said that should grow out as the placenta and uterus grow. I go see my RE tomorrow. What a roller coaster. I thought it was game over for me. Now I need to worry about this sch!

Just keeping you ladies up to date. I'm of course POAS every morning. Just want to see the line get darker. I know of course that the little pink line is no guarantee, as I learned last cycle but it just makes me feel a little better. I vant believe that Beta is already on Monday. I'm wondering what my number is going to be like this time. I'll be sure to let you guys know as soon as I hear. I just pray that everything goes well this time. I pray that my Beta doubles the way it needs to, that we have a healthy pregnancy, and bring home a happy healthy baby. I will continue to pray for all of you. I wish you all a great weekend.
