Hello GHOST & everyone,
after 6 failed ivf , i finally got my BFP on the 7th attempt.
but now im worried to death, i can't work or sleep or think of anything else coz my u/s isnt before 1 more week.
my first beta 12p3dt 71
my second 14dp3dt 270
my third 17dp3dt 759
it seems that my beta nbrs are doubling properly every 48 hours.

im now almost 5 weeks (if u count from the first day of ur last menstrual period) and i have NO pregnancy symptoms at all, not even one, no tender breasts, no morning sickness, no craving, no cervical mucus, NOTHING. and i am having from time to time lower back aches.
i had very slight brown spotting from 12p3dt till 16dp3dt and it stopped on 17dp3dt.

im worried to death, could it be a blighted Ovum coz i have no preg. symptoms????
and does beta hcg doubles every 48 hours in case of blighted ovum ????
or ectopic ???

Typically, for an ectopic pregnancy, the beta numbers are much lower than usual and do not double properly (48-72 is the norm for a healthy pregnancy). I am not sure with a blighted ovum. However, lack of pregnancy sypmtoms at this stage is completely normal. Some women have little or no symptoms through the entire first trimester! Some are so sick they cannot get out of bed. Everyone is different, and you cannot judge by that. Your beta numbers are doing well. Good luck.

When I was pregnant with my son I had absolutely no symptoms until I was 8 weeks. Nothing at all! Try not to worry!

Your hCG is rising nicely. At this point, that is the best available indicator of success.

Like MamaBoo said, the absence of "pregnancy symptoms" is not unusual for successful pregnancy cycles. In fact, it means nothing at all. But tell your clinic everything, including your observations and concerns.

Me too, I never had any pregnancy symptoms with either of my pregnancies, I'm also at the same stage as you and have no symptoms again. I like to think I'm just lucky, much better than being sick. Congratulations, try and enjoy it a little bit

Congrats on your positive!!! I can't help but be a little extra happy for multiple IVFers, considering I had my little boy on our sixth attempt! As hard as it is, try not to worry too much about every little thing. Most people don't get symptoms until 6 to 8 weeks and even then, some people still have none. I didn't have any noticable symptoms until 6 or 7 weeks and all I had was funny feeling stomach all the time, but no throwing up, or sore boobs. Hope you have a great pregnancy!

both of my pregnancies, I started to have symptoms around 6 1/2 weeks pregnant, but I know many women who had none. Your beta's are doubling great, I hope your u/s shows you a health growing bean that has been long overdue for you! Good luck!

well, i still have NO preg. symptoms at all, yet i have no bleeding and no discharge which make the things easier. im still having PMS and lower back pain, but it was a relief reading that you ladies also didnt have any preg. symptoms at this stage.
i will keep u posted with my u/s results.

I had no symptoms.. even throughout the first trimester the only thing i noticed was that i had to pee a lot and that i was tired. Good Luck!!
