is it safe to wear makeup / nail polish during early pregncy

Hello Ladies, it may sound an odd question, but my RE wont see me before 10 weeks and this question is confusing me.
so i thought i would ask u pregnant ladies since u were there!!
i just discovered im 6 weeks pregnant and i've been wearing full make up (liquid foundation, powder, eyes shadow, lipstick,...) and doing my nails almost everyday and now im very anxious coz i read on the internet that wearing makeup and using nail polish and polish remover in the early weeks of pregnancy can cause birth defects im very anxious, i dont know what to do.
anyone of u wore makeup & nail polish during their early weeks of pregnancy or asked ur RE about this subject ????

The things to avoid are certain lotions, and some makeups that contain retinoids, salicylic acid and soy. These are basically anti-aging and anti-acne medicines (not sure what soy is used for, but I've heard it can increase estrogen levels. Not sure if that's true.) However, most makeups do not contain these, you have to buy them specifically. Read the label.

Always use makeup with care specially in these situations and it is strongly recommended not to use makeups without consult with dermatologist. Carry a small bottle in your bag so you can be fresh whenever you feel the need to perk up your sleep-deprived face. Or pop it in the fridge to soothe you in the summer (or holiday) heat.

I thinks it has no side-effects of using nail polish during pregnancy. I two pregnancy cases of my wife, she has not faced with any issue using different nail colours.

if you will be using paraben-free products, then you can use cosmetics
