Gonal side effects

Post by leggym »

Hi everyone,

I am a newbie here and have a question.

I just started gonal f day 2. I do not feel a thing?? When i took clomid I could really tell something was going on bloating etc.

Is this normal with the gonal. I go in day 8 for more bloods and scan to see whats going on.

Any thoughts??

Hi Leggy,

I wouldn't worry if I were you. I am currently on day 7 of injecting with Gonal-F and I still can't feel anything, and on my other 2 IVF attempts it has only been just before EC that I have realised something different is going on in the ovary department.

Good luck!

Leggy

Currently on my first tmt and on the 2nd week of the 2ww - anyway I was on Gonal-F and felt absolutley nothing - not a sasuage

Was quite convinced that as I could feel nothing then nothing was happening but it was - I got 5 eggs and 4 fertilzed as top graders

So don't worry - unfortunately as we are all different we will all react differently, which doesn't help us in comparing symptoms

Keep your chin up and keep us posted

Thanks girls,

I took another dose this morning. As I mentioned thursday is the big day I find out how well I am responding.

My fsh is 3.9 this month and I will be 39 end of summer.

I keep telling my husband maybe I got a bad batch of meds...lol.. or did I do this right...lol..

I guess I will just be a basket case until I get there. As I mentioned when we did clomid I could tell right away and that was just a little pill. So I would have thought with this stuff things would be alot more intense.

Best of luck to you all:)
