we and fvrogers - thank you so much for the hugs. They were very much needed. I've just been feeling so yucky lately. I haven't mentioned before, but I have been struggling with knee pain since December. The doctors haven't been able to give me a clear reason what is wrong but I have been reading that Lupron can cause fluid on the knee, which is what I am dealing with. I have been in alot of knee pain for several months now and some days it is too much to bear.

I'm sorry for skipping the personals, but please know that I am reading everyone's stories and coming back each day for updates. Sending warm thoughts and lots of baby dust to everyone.

AFM - I can be updated on the roll call list. u/s is set for next Friday (21st) and FET is tentatively set for October 28.

I know my RE said that to keep me from getting OHSS he will go into each and every follice and remove the eggs and all of the fluid so that it will decrease my chances of getting OHSS. Some Doctors just remove the eggs and not the fluid but my RE said he will remove all the fluid along with the egg in each follice. Guess thats a good thing right!?

I know after the removal and transfer I have to be put on a high protein diet and drink alot of gatorade and water.

Samantha-my RR Aldo tovrd all of the fluid but the body naturally replaces it specially with OHSS. Then the fluid accumulates and tends to leak into the abdominal cavity through the openings in the follicles where the eggs had been removed. Not to worry, your RE will monitor you closely and minimize the chances of OHSS.

Samantha-before retrieval I just felt extremely unconfertable. I felt very bloated and towards the end I had pain on my right side. It turns out that I had way more follicles on my right ovary than on the left and when the went to do the retrieval the RE was unable to retrieve the follicles from my left ovar vaginally. She had to go through my belly. She said afterwards that she has only had to do that a few times. I didn't feel anything, thank God. Mist RE's will tell you that OHSS is more likely to set in after retrieval not before. And it's for that same reason of the follicles filling up with fluid after retrieval and leaking into the abdominal cavity. I'll be honest I was pretty miserable fir a little over a week. I was very swollen. Gained 10 pounds with of fluid all in my abdominal cavity. Because of the fluid my ovaries floated put of their usual location and that caused pain and discomfort. The fluid buildup also caused severe constipation. Not a fun week. But I'm grateful I didn't end up in the hospital.

Wehavehope- Yes, my Dr said I would be most likely to devlop the OHSS after retrevial or right after transfer and becoming pregnant. If my body is too amped on hormones they will freeze all on the retrevial and transfer at a later date in order to give my body a chance to rest but im really hoping this isnt the case. I hope everything goes smoothly and I will just be on a small low dose regimin of injections and OHSS will be limited to just mild symptoms.

I just hope this cyst shrinks away before my follicles start growing too fast. Im almost positive that the BCP caused the cyst on my right side. Ive never had issues with cyst before that I know of. But from what I hear and am told, the cyst should not effect the IVF cycle. Everything should run smooth!

Anton - Hun, I'm so sorry. Hopefully, he'll come around soon. I know that for me it's so hard to remember that he's in this too, especially because they don't have to do any of the stupid shots and shit. Drives me crazy that he gets any say whatsoever. Take it easy. I'll leave the religious stuff for the other girls and just tell you that it sucks and I'm sorry.

Christy - I'm also on 25 of levo and about a week after I started I couldn't stop doing projects. DH was so confused as to what happened. I have fibromyalgia and so I'm still tired all the time, but the levo made such a big differene that I became a different person. It's so funny because the doc claims that 25 mg is like nothing...like even said it's like a vitamin.


ATM - termites!!!!so many. We rent. We knew that there were termites, but it's not our problem and we were gonna move within a couple of years anyway, but omg. It was really hot today...REALLY hot, so I guess the fuckers didn't wanna stay in the wall because they found a way out and there were hundreds of flying termites by my windows. I didn't know what to do besides vacuum them and putty the holes, but omg. It was like a horror film. Seriously. I hate bugs and I hate flying things, even birds because they flap and it's disgusting. I'm going to have nightmares. Now the guy is coming to check it out tomorrow, but they can't tent because I have cats and shit to deal with, so I have to leave in this infected fucking house. I've been searching for homes to buy online...that being said we have to buy like 25 miles away because DH's job is moving farther north and I really don't want to leave our neighborhood...but I also don't want to move all of our shit for a year's lease and then move again when we wanna buy. Although if this cycle does t work who knows how much money we'll have to buy a stupid house. You guys, I'm losing it. Help.

Lauren- holy crap! I would have freaked out. We had flying termites infest our darkroom in high school. It sucked working in a small room with chemicals and only red light. Creepy!

We: we transferred two blasts. They were hatching quite nicely.

I'm def going to get caught up. I've been overwhelmed with work and I'm taking a class two nights a week. Busy busy!

Hey Samantha, I am on BCP for cyst on my ovaries. I was wondering if you gained weight when you were on BCP? I've only been taking them for a week but I already gained 3 pounds. My RE won't go ahead with my cycle because my cyst are producing estrogen. From what I understand if it wasn't producing estrogen they would have gone ahead with my cycle. I have to take BCP for two more weeks and I really hope they are gone so that I can start my cycle.

Girls, thank you. I guess I really dud make it. I'm 4 weeks/6 days today!!! You guys are the best. I could have never made it this far without you.

It's 6:03am and I've been since about 5:30am. This is very typical for me these days. The last 3 days I've slept a little better throughout the night but I'm still waking up really early and can't go back to sleep. So, I'm going to try and close my eyes for a bit before my alarm goes off. Going for Beta #3 this morning. I'll post the results As soon as I get the call.
