Good morning!

I have a question for everyone.....did you continue Lupron until your FET? I have only ever done one FET out of my 8 cycles and I don't remember. I was one 20 units for awhile and last friday I decreased to 5 units. There is nothing on my calendar from RE that says to stop Lupron.....and for some reason it just doesnt seem right for me to do it everyday until trasnfer. I am on Estrace right now and start PIO shots next week.

Dh went in for another EEG and Sleep Study. I was reading the paper and glanced at the horoscopes. I never keep up with them, haven't in years!

Anyway this was mine Made me feel great!

There's a funny reason why you have to keep going in the direction you are going, but you don't understand it yet. There's something good in this. You relate to those in similar circumstances That was to a TEE! Not sure about the funny part yet!! LOL

Neffi - I didn't do a FET but did a donor cycle which is pretty much the same protocol. I did lupron until I did the trigger shot to make me ovulate. I think 5 or 6 days later we did the transfer.

A bit of bad news....sorry I have been MIA but once you hear my story you will know why! I had to go out of town for work, 7 hours away. I rented a car and took my phone charger for the car. Well, on my way there I decided to plug in my phone and the car phone charger didn't work!!! It's a new car!!! So, needless to say I was with out a phone! On Monday while at my function, I was standing there and felt what I thought felt like my period starting! I excused myself and sure enough, bright red blood. Called my RE and said to go to ER. 5 hours later we found out that I was having a subchronic hemorage. Active bleeding stopped, but I still have a hematoma in there. The baby is fine at this point. measuring right on and HB was at 109 (like to see it at 90). Will have to monitor the hematoma. Going back Monday. On the drive home I kept throwing up and had to stop every 5 minutes to got to the bathroom. I still feel sick/weak this morning. Dr. said it is a 50/50 chance I will not miscarry. Pray we don't....

akdelp- Wow! What a day you had ((HUGS))! I'm glad they stopped the bleeding and the baby is oK! I hope and pray it will continue to be that way! Sorry you had to go through that trying to get home too! Praying all is well on Monday.

Akdelp, prayers for u during this nerve wracking time! I can't imagine the turmoil you must feel.

just got back from first e2/us and i'm not sure if we even got any news lol. She had DH writing stuff down on her paperwork, left ovary 12 by 9, right ovary under 10. What does that even mean?? I said ' they have to be over 18, right?' referring to follicles which is what I thought she was measuring, and she said yes, but then DH and I are talking on the way home from nashville and he said she meant that was my ovarian size. I'm so confused. Guess I'll stalk my v.m.box till they close today.

Question, anyone having had dexamethasone experience an enormous appetite? Or maybe its the fsh? I'm a foodie anyway but this is ridiculous!

Julia, I've been told it's the follicles they are measuring, my lab tech has told me anything over 16-18 is considered ripe and ready. Hopefully each follicle will contain an egg so you want the numbers to stay as close as possible. Sometimes during any given cycle you may have a "lead" follicle who tries to hog all the glory and the doctor may want to lower the dosage to keep you stimming a little longer which may help to keep them growing at the same rate.

Aldelp, wow I'm sorry you are having to go threw this whirlwind, I'm glad they were able to stabilize everything and the baby's heartbeat is strong. Definately take it easy and limit your traveling if you can. I will be keeping you and your baby in my prayers.

Anton, I so hope you get this job sounds like you would be happy there. Thanks, the picture below is at our friend's wedding. It was at a country club in Georgia near a vineyard. What I remember most were the golfers and my fear of someone getting nailed with a titliest! It was cute how the bride and groom came in riding in on the back of a golfcart. They had an open bar and we had a great time line-dancing bringing back the 90's.

AFM: No sign of AF yet, nada. I asked my doctor last week if my thyroid med has anything to do with this and he said it shouldn't...Dh is so optimistic, but I know my last cycle was also inconsistant so I'm being realistic...

olim- Hello and welcome to the board. I am glad that you had a successful first ivf. I am on here with the same thing being on here helps pass the time. I cant wait to hear how your things go for your journey.

Anton- yay for the second interview. I hope that you get the job. Good luck! I know that you are taking a break from ivf but I know that one day you will get your bfp!

gina- thanks... I know that the stress is horrible. It seems like the wait is awful!

neffi- I am on lupron still and my fet is nov 3rd. I think that I stop it on the 29th but I am not sure. I also take the estridol pills- started taking them two times a day now. I go for my uterine lining check on the 25th and they will give me more instructions. I started at 10 units then went to 5 units of lupron. If something sounds off for you call your RE. I know that I called all the time just to make sure that I did the right things. Good luck and when is your fet scheduled?

akdelp- I am so sorry that you went through that. I am so sorry... DOnt give up hope. It is great to hear that the baby is still doing well. I am sure that it was beyond scary and I will be praying for you! I will be thinking of you today. Keep us updated... Hate that you were getting sick afterwards... Take it easy... Will be thinking and praying for you!

julie- I am sorry that you are confused. Wish I could be some help. I am confused during this whole thing. I think I called my RE office everyday 2-3 times a day because I was so confused. I am a foodie..... I love to eat but when I am nervous, stressed, anxious or pretty much any more emotion I tend to eat. Good luck and thinking of you...

sunshine- Sorry no AF... Waiting is such a pain. I know that I hated waiting. I will be thinking of you and doing the AF dance so that she will come quickly. I am still so glad that your thyroid levels are better!

AFM- I am going to stay calm and quite with the stress... I am starting to take the estridol twice a day. I have been cramping a little bit but I wondered if that was normal. oh just looking forward to the 3rd.... yay

Blessed-- My transfer in on the 2nd. I go for a lining check this friday. I emailed RE and haven't heard back, but I will see them in two days anyway, so I'm not worried. I think that I stopped Lupron when I started PIO last time, but I don't remember.

Sunshine: that's a nuisance about no af. Would you consider acupuncture?

Afm: enjoyed my day off :-)got some nice feedbackon my workshop earlier which I was glad of as it was a new one. So tea and choc biscuits on the sofa now, diet starts Monday

Got a message on my mailbox. Estradiol: 144, they said they'd like tp see it a little higher? Waiting on them to call me back. They're bumping me up from 225 units of follistim twice a day to 300 twice a day. Hoping this is normal, I'm such a worrier jeesh!
