Ninde- Yes it is. I was hoping my parents would help me but I think they are really, not sure if I'd use against IVF but they hoped it would just happen on it's own. Me too but don't think that will happen since we are coming up on 12 years in a couple more months! I never really came out and asked my Dad but he knows the cost and that we don't have that much, at least not yet. Maybe he figures if he doesn't help I won't get to do it. I don't know. I know he loves me and supports me, he's just afraid something will happen to me. I told him I'll be ok but not if I never get to try this. He just retired a few months ago so I want them to enjoy their time together and travel like they've always wanted.

Yep it's online but because of their issues with overseas shipping and because it's sold in Germany also, I can't sell to anyone overseas unless I switch to here but then can't sell to anyone in the states where I'm from. Akdelp-I had written this whole long post for you and decided to erase it. In the end, nothing that I wrote in my post was going to make you feel any better. I just want you to know that I understand what you are going through and where you are right now. I am so sorry and I truly wish you lived close to me so I could give you a big hug and we could both just cry until we had no tears left. This is something I just saw on a fb page I am on. Sharing the link here if that's ok. With the MC's that happen with and without IVF, this sounds interesting to read. I've never had a MC and wouldn't know where to begin with some of the test or to ask for certain ones.

Akdelp: have you been to the hospital? It must be so much more difficult working there but i think even physically because ofnthe added complication of the haemotoma. I utterly understand where your dh is coming from and i hope he is right but i think you need to be checked out.you swear as much as you need. Im so sorry for the pain. I cantbelieve this. If you dont go with him again I would be only too eager to write to him and tell him exactly what I think of his practice and perhaps others would too? How dare he and that's not me just projecting.

Gina - good article, thanks for sharing. Since I've had 3 consecutive M/C I've scoured the internet for information and this article has everything in one spot. My RE tested everything possible, and the one thing we found was the MTHFR gene mutation (funny acronym right?). They cure for that is just extra folic acid so I am on 4mg (also mentioned in your article). In the end, my RE thinks I just don't have a lot of "good" eggs, so recommended PGD testing. Out of the 40 eggs I've had retrieved in the last 2 years, only 3 created good, genetically normal embryos. Not good odds for trying without the PGD…

Ninde- Thank you. Yes, that's my party there. From my understanding unless it's someone in the military (not sure if you or your husband is) don't think they will let it come to you. I'm guessing you can always try and see what happens. It's very confusing!


Bodie- Was glad to share it. It's scary at my age there is a 17% chance of MS from what I understand it saying. Your body has to be JUST RIGHT for everything too. Ugh!

Ninde-thank you for asking. I haven't cried yet today so I guess that is a step in the right direction. DH has been absolutely wonderful. He works 7 days a week and despite being extremely tired and emotionally drained from everything that is going on, yesterday he suggested we get out of the house with the kids. IVF has really put a hold in everything over the past yeat and other than the daily running around of school and afterschool activities, we really had not done anything with them in quite some time. So my husnabd's oldest went to work last night so unfortunately he was not able to join us. But DH, my husband's daughter, and my DS all went to the movies to see The Three Musketeers. My DH and the kids are so goofy when we all get together. Last night was the first time I have smiled in a while. The movie was great but having DH hold me throughout the movie and having the kids with me really made me feel blessed to have such a wonderful family. I'm sure I will continue to have ups and downs, no doubt. But today, I can say that I am having a better day and a better outlook for our future. DH says that we have a win win situation. Because if, God in fact, dose not have another child for us in our future, then we will just have more time to spend together, travel, and mire time to love each the for the rest of our lives. And if, God does give us a child together then we will raise our baby with love for the rest of our lives. He says "you can't beat those odds". He says that either way, we will ways be ok. He is such a wonderful man. I could have never asked got anything better. He is sn absolutely wonderful husband. He us such a loving and caring father to his two children. And he is absolutely the most loving father to my own son which he protects and loves as his own. I thank God everyday for DH.

Gina-thank you so much for the website. It's very interesting and has given quite a few things that I plan to discuss with my RE.

Hi guys! The holidays are finally over here in Israel, so I should be around a lot more. I stopped BCP a few days ago and tomorrow I go in for my baseline. If everything is good, I should begin stims tomorrow night. I am a little anxious since we are at a new clinic with a new RE, so it's a whole new routine and new system to navigate. I am also nervous about stimming solo with DH being away.

Unfortunately, my migraines continue to be frequent and also really incapacitating. Today I got a referral to the neurologist from my family doctor, so hopefully I will get an appointment in the not too distant future and he will have some suggestions. It is so frustrating because I know the migraines are hormonal and they are having such an impact on the quality of my life, but giving up IVF in order to regain control of my migraines just isn't an option for me.

We - So glad to hear you guys had a great family night at the movies. What your husband said to about it being a win-win situation is really beautiful and inspirational. You've been in my thoughts.

akdelp - My heart is breaking for you. I am so sorry your RE is acting like such an insensitive @**. So many hugs to you.

LaurenN - Great news about AF. Good luck getting started with this round!

Leora - Legally you definitely don't need to disclose the nature of your medical issue. I have actually never told my boss that I am doing fertility treatments (though that may change this cycle…we'll see if I have the guts to finally bring it up). I have always just said that I have dr.'s appt or that I am sick. I know it can be tricky, though, and I have often struggled with my decision to not be more specific.

That's it for now, but I still have quite a bit of reading to do to catch up:)
