My such much happening. I've been reading posts but haven't had time to post.

AK - you are going through an absolutely awful time at the moment. Your RE needs a lesson sensitivity. What a tosser! I'm so sorry this is happening to you. It's so unfair.

We - I see light at the end of the tunnel. Well done making some decisions with DH. A bit of a break will work wonders I'm sure.

Rosie - migraines are the worst. I get migraines almost weekly. They are increasing in frequency as I get older. Luckily, Imigran controls them most of the time. Obviously I don't take Imigran during IVF and I'm usually whacked with one or two real goodies pre and post transfer.

Blueeye - yay for your great beta. Well done you.

Ninde - sorry to hear about your uncle. Good luck at the clinic this week. I agree with have enough to worry about without hassling us about weight. I'm a stress eater and have been doing plenty of it over the last year and a bit.

AFM - well ladies, New Zealand are officially the rugby world cup champions. We had friends over last night to watch the final. The NZ team are called the All Blacks. We were all dressed in black, including our little pug. I think pugs are the most dressed up dogs ever! It was a nail biting final. I literally felt sick in the last few minutes. Didn't help that I was stuffing my face with dessert at the same time.

It's a public holiday today...the first one since June so am enjoying a 3-day weekend. I've planted my veges in the garden all ready for summer - beans, peas, lettuce, beetroot, carrots, celery, radish, zucchini and tomatoes so far. Grow little vetes grow!

Only about 10 days till AF is due and then it's the countdown till my natural FET. Will start bloodtests about day 10 of my next cycle. I'm excited but also freaked out as this is our last frostie. Not sure whether we'll do another IVF or find an egg donor next...still to be decided. Arghhhhh!

That's a real bummer, Maria. You have to be really careful, I'm sure. I have a lot of med allergies too so I understand. I have also had anaphylaxis which really sucked! I hope they find something for you that will help you.

Too funny about my in-laws. They were very happy when we announced and then all day they have been making sure I feel ok, I'm taking it easy, etc. Then my MIL asked if I wanted to have the baby in Canada. Oh Boy!

Tess-thank you for your well wishes and kind words. They mean the world to me especially during this very difficult time.

EOE-thank you all for your support and prayers during these trying times. The love you have a shown me has been amazing. I can't thank you enough. AFM, everyday is a new day. I'm trying hard to take it a day at a tine. DH has been such a source of support for me. I don't know what I would do or where I would be without him. God has blessed me with a wonderful partner in life abs for that I am so grateful. Tonight he has informed me that he wants me to go get a Mani/Pedi this coming weekend. He's not asking he's insisting that I go. So I guess I have no choice. He also wants us to meet with our RE this week so we can finalize the date for tge hysteroscopy/endometrial biopsy and set a date in January fir our next FET. Although our plan is to take a bit if a break, because of our age we both feel like we can't take too long of a break. I sordid of want to plan and set dates for January but nervous about doing do as well. I know that if the next FET doesn't work we will only have one more try. I don't know what my reaction will be if our last two tries don't work. The fact is that after that we will not try another fresh cycle. We leave it in God's hands.

Hey Everyone!

Sorry I have been lousy with personals lately, back to work early in the morning, next week will be easier since I'm taking some time off for the upcoming IUI shooting for around Nov. 3rd? AND Mom is still coming into town too that weekend, yep crazytown has already started! ***Anyway, I'll be back for more pesonals tomorrow night before my next dr appt on Tues.
Btw, I got my very 1st EVER bruise last night, dh had to stick me twice for the follistim injection. Those pens are nifty but if you need a certain dosage sometimes it requires two sticks...feeling more like a pin cushion these days but in the end it's going to be worth it!

Adkelp, your husband is very much like mine in that he keeps the hope alive and my prayers are that God will continue to comfort you and surround you with much love from your family. I know this hasn't been easy but you have to place everything into His hands lifting the weight off your shoulders and rest in the comfort that He wlll take care of you.

Thanks everyone. I am going call the office this morning.....hopefully they don't mak eme mad or I am going to come unglued. I am going to ask them to at least fax an order to my hopsital for bloodwork. They should be able to tell that my HCG is going down....it's been since Saturday. We will see what they have to say. I am getting sick to my stomach just thinking about it. I'll let you know what they say to me this time!!!

Oh - and I took a picture of it to send to them, which I am going to ask for their email...we will see how far I get.

Ninde - If you haven't already watched them - I love love love love True Blood. It's totally ridiculous, with crazy amounts of violence and sex - but totally fun. I hope no one comments about your weight. Ugh. I've gained about 20lbs since losing the boys this summer - mostly stress and depression. If someone said something about my weight, I think I'd kill them! I think so many of us gain weight during this process because it's so stressful. Nothing makes me feel better than a big bowl of ice cream!

Bodie - your beta is awesome! I'm so excited for your u/s results next!

Maria - my birthday was just 3 days after we lost Asaf this summer. I decided that all I wanted to do was go see a movie. We went to see "X-Men First Class" and ordered a giant popcorn with a GIANT diet cola. It was fantastic to sit and ignore the world for 3 hours of nonsense. I'm glad you got out to see a movie and enjoyed it! I'm so glad to hear that your DH is being so wonderful. In all of this, I just try to remember how much DH and I love each other and how much we mean to each other. I see friends having kids with men who aren't good for them (even when they are married!) and I'm so glad to know that when we finally have a child, we will be raising that child in a loving, happy home.

Rosie - HURRAY FOR STARTING! I stop my BCP on Wednesday and I'm so excited! We will be really close -- maybe another coffee date to obsess while we 2ww together? You mentioned that you read a book called "Still Alice". I had bought it a while ago and never got around to reading it, but since you mentioned it, I picked it up. That's really an amazing book. (I'm about 3/4 through). Soooooo sad and depressing (I'm guessing there's no happy ending!), but I'm okay with sad/depressing if it isn't about losing babies. (Warning for anyone else who picks up this great book -- the daughter gets pregnant with twins via IVF in the middle -- so be warned if that's a 'trigger' for you). Where do you find good English book in this country that don't cost a fortune? I find the used book stores mostly have 'best-seller' type books (lots and lots of Tom Clancy, John Grisham and Danielle Steele type books). I've spending way too much money on books! I miss public libraries! Maybe we can swap/borrow books?

Neffi - almost time for your FET! Fingers crossed so much for you!

blessed - hormones make us ladies crazy enough in general - but during cycles, I'm always a mess! I remember a 'low point' in my cycling -- a song came on the radio and made me cry so hard I had to pull the car over - guess which song? Katy Perry's "California Gurlz"! I hope your DH understands that the hormones are making you so touchy.

Tess - woohoo for rugby! another dog person too! What is your pugs name? We have a little mutt named Johnny who is 3. We've had him since he was a tiny puppy. I never had a dog growing up, but DH wanted one so badly that we got one -- and now he is totally a member of the family! -- You'll be FET-ing the same time as me (approx). I hope this is finally it for both of us!

Christy - huh? I do the Follistim (Puregon) pens and I've never had to inject twice -- what dose are you doing? Sounds nuts!

akdelp -- I'm hoping we get good news from you soon....


AFM - back to work today! My entire family left yesterday, which is a relief but also sad. I miss them already!

This week is another hard week. I know I should stop 'counting', but I can't. Tomorrow would have been exactly 38 weeks pregnant -- the final day if I hadn't yet delivered (twins are induced at 38 weeks if they haven't come earlier). How sad.

Tomorrow is also my last BCP....

Hopefully getting AF over the weekend and starting the FET on Sunday.

For those that have done FETs, what was your protocol? I've never done Lupron (antagonist fresh cycles - so no Lupron - and I've never taken it before a FET either). Usually, I do 2mg of Estrofem orally 3xday for about 2.5-3 weeks and then start progesterone 5 days before transfer. Is 6mg of Estrofem/Estrace normal? My FETs always take such a long time ('ovulation' around CD20, instead of CD14). Should I ask about taking a higher dose of Estrofem?

Hi ladies, hope you don't mind me joining in now!

I started stims last Thursday - Menopur and Bravelle. These meds seem to burn a bit more going in than the Gonal-F did.

First U/S yesterday. Total of 26 follicles so far, yay! They did up the Bravelle dosage, I think they'd like to see the follies just a little bigger at this point.

I have a tentative retrieval date of Halloween. We are in a clinical study which has us doing either a 5 day transfer or freezing, doing PGD, and doing FET in a month. Won't find out which until day of egg retrieval.

These stims are making me terribly tired. Don't recall that with Gonal-F either. Anyone else super sleepy?

leorira- I am doing a fet this cycle... I have been on Lupron- started 10 units then decreased to 5 units after they did my b/w. I started taking estradol 2mg tabs. started those 20 days before the scheduled FET. Started 1 tab for 4 days, then 2 for 4 days, then 3 until I go to the RE office. This is my first FET and I feel so confused. I just hope that your FET goes well... I have not started PIO yet, I think I stop Lupron this Saturday but I go tomorrow to the RE office and I know that they will give me a schedule as long as the uterine lining is as thick as they want it.

Akdelp- I am still thinking about you. I hope that you got some news and I am thinking of you!!!

AFM- Tomorrow morning is my uterine lining check at the RE office. I am so excited because I will get more answers and I am just praying that the lining is as thick as they want it and we can continue to more forward. I am not looking forward to the 2.5 hour drive and being there at 9am.... That means driving in the dark hehe ... I hope you all are having a great day! I am taking my estradol 3 times aday now but I think I may have doubled up. Not too sure... I was not sure if I took mine at lunch time so I took one more.. I just cant remember if I took one earlier or not... but.... oh well... wont cause too much damage right? hehe

Sunshine, my entire abdomen is a line of bruises lol, so I know some about that. Maybe I just bruise easily tho. Glad you're stimming! Prayers for u! I also use the follistim pen and am 300 units so sometimes it takes 2 sticks for me. Thinking of u at your lining check today.

Akdelp- I am so sorry to read of your situation. Idk how I woulda handled that re...that's insane. I just don't get it. Prayers for you going up often.

We- you sound better, I'm so glad! I pray that you and dh only get good news from now on!
I know that's not always possible but I hope you get a good break of bad for awhile.

Lauren- I know what I mean about the only thing going on is the only thing giving you stress. I quit work a week ago so now this is all I'm thinking about and I tend to get ahead of myself with just about everything so ya know.

I know I'm missing people and I'm sorry. I have to do all of this on my phone so not as easy to navigate and forget it if I have to correct!


Afm- just got back from my e2/us...18 total follies, from 10-17mm! I'm hopeful the voicemail will let us stay home tomorrow and head back down there the next day, then maybe trigger us friday? Idk if that works well timewise. Anyone know if those numbers are bad for the 3rd e2/us (fsh day 10)

Wow, I miss a few days reading this thread and I feel like I'm way behind! I'm at work and don't have a lot of time, but I wanted to update everyone that I POAS and got a positive! My beta isn't until Thursday, but I will be POAS every morning until then to make sure my line is still there!

We- I'm glad you're doing another FET. How many frozen embryos do you have left? I hope you can rest and relax before your next cycle.
