oh no the gremlins ate my last post, I had all nicely typed so many personals....oh well, here is my best attempt!

Bodie, Congratulations my friend on the twins! Enjoy every blessful moment of motherhood.

maria (WeHaveHope), I'm glad you got the results back today that the chromosomes were healthy, but this leaves us mystified. I hope the labwork panels and endometrium biopsy provides you with some answers and helps underline you next steps/protocal with the FET in January. Thank you always being there for us! May we rename you Mama-Maria for the great affection you have shown on this board? We know it hasn't been easy, but you're doing an awesome job with as our list mistress and your strength on here speaks volumes! Thanks for being like a mother hen to so many of us, because without you this road would have to many bends. I have throughly enjoyed reading your quotes too!

LaureN, lol for my next labwork, I will visualize Edward from Twilight. Yes someone handsome would make a good distraction which is apparently what I desperately need!

AFM: So I got home from my appt feeling better and took another bath to reshave my legs and hope I would get lucky tonight. One way or another I planned on something exciting happening tonight, but as I'm getting dressed I get a phone call from my nurse who tells me to continue on with the follistim shot and come back in tomorrow. I was like what?!? This is day5 what's going on (my visits are usually every other day). She said sometimes things happen pretty fast because I have a leading follicle at 16 and she said I may be triggering TOMORROW NIGHT! omg!!!!!!This is happening way too fast, my lining was only at 5.3 today and we only have two decent follicles compared to last IUI w/ seven! I had thought we would reduce the med so I could cycle longer, but nope it's not looking that way. So please pray that I can at least hold out until the weekend. I'm not too happy with dh since I know it's been over 7+ days since he last released. Anyway, I ran to my local CVS and stocked up on ovuation predictors, so we will see.....

Lauren - kudos on staying so positive! I always have crazy oscillating thoughts while cycling - bouncing crazily from "of course I'll get pregnant/have a baby" to "this will never work and I hate it". Staying focused on the positive is something I try very hard to do - but often fail. I really hope you can keep the optimism up. Pessimism and despair are never helpful. "Living in the moment" and "taking each day as it comes" is the advice my therapist keeps telling me. I've done Follistim (called Puregon here) and Menopur - only Follistim my first cycle and then combinations of Follistim + Menopur for the other 2 fresh cycles. The Menopur was scary at the begining, because I had only ever used injection pens (Follistim) and pre-filled syringes (Ganirelix). The Menopur came as two seperate vials - one powder, one liquid - that I had to mix, then draw up, then inject. Seemed really complicated when the nurse explained it, but was actually really easy to figure out. There are some great clips on YouTube if you get confused about it ! Looks like we'll be transferring around the same time --

Blue eyed -- YAYAYAYAY! That's so amazing! I can't wait for your u/s - just 3 weeks away! Will you have more beta draws? (don't worry if you don't. My clinic only ever does a single beta test and if it's positive (and a good number, like mine has always been) they just schedule the u/s) ---- at least your family cleans instead of making a mess!

Christy
- my mom always cleans my house when she comes. I don't know what the compulsion is! The last two visits, I hadn't cleaned at all before she came (she came immediately after both sets of twins were born), so there was plenty to clean. This most recent visit, I had plenty of time to clean before - and I did! But she found an old toothbrush and scrubbed the tile behind the toilet -- she always needs something to clean! UGH - how does your RE clinic have such old u/s machines? My OB's office has a crappy u/s, but he just uses to quickly check baby heartbeats, never to measure or anything (there is a seperate u/s clinic for that) and my RE's u/s machine is brand new and super awesome! I hate hate hate when they push on you to look at something better - OUCH! ---------- wow, that IUI seems really fast - I hope that's a good thing! Maybe find a 'convincing' way to have DH 'release' soon so that all his little swimmers will be 'fresher' for the IUI -- :D

kerpupples - I don't have my notes on all my cycles, but I've also had lead follicles - and things have always worked out (although I've worried about it!)

Julia - I'm sorry you are fighting with your husband. This whole thing is so stressful... good luck at your SnS - hopefully good news about a ER soon!

Gina - both me and my mom HATE flying (short trips are okay - but it's a 12 hour flight to the USA and then another 1.5 hours flight from NYC to Pittsburgh --- uuuggghhhh) so we always try to get the other one to come visit. Once we met in Paris - only 5 hour flight for each - which was awesome, but pricier than just visiting each other.

Bodie - YAY! So exciting! Fingers crossed for heartbeats at the next u/s! Have you ever gotten this far with your mc?

Ninde - I must have missed your Skype idea - what was it? A Skype 'meet-up' for us? I'm game!

Maria - I know this is a really difficult time. Hugs - and keep writing to us. Did you get to find out what sex the baby you lost was? That would be one advantage of genetic testing, in my opinion. It always bothers me that I know I've lost 1 girl and 3 boys, but I'll never know what my miscarried baby was. Knowing the sex sometimes makes it easier to picture 'the baby that never was'. Finding out the baby was chromosonally normal must be so hard. Four of the five babies I've lost have been proven chromosonally normal (we never did testing on the singleton miscarriage) - which makes it harder since it feels like it's "my fault" (even though it really isn't). I hope the additional testing brings some answers (and some solutions).

Neffi - ugh. Spotting sucks - almost at any time. I have SOOOOO many friends having babies. I'm sooooo jealous.

Blessed - 14 sounds great for a lining measurement!

AFM - no BCP this morning and I'm already crampy/bloaty and feel AF coming on! Hopefully she'll come on schedule (usually 4 days after stopping BCP - so aprox Saturday). My clinic is closed Friday and Saturday, so I either need AF to show today - or Saturday as planned. (I would need to know tonight if I'm going in tomorrow, because I would have to wake up earlier.) Although, I guess if I start on CD2 or 3 instead of CD1 - it really won't mess things up at all.

Move me down to "Waiting for AF" --- here we go!

(other big news today - we submitted our paperwork for a foster-to-adopt agency. Adoption of a healthy baby is incredibly difficult and rare here - most kids are not healthy (ie, Down's syndrome or other disabilites) or older (usually 5y+) - and foster-to-adopt might be a different way to adopt a healthy baby. I'm TERRIFIED of fostering a baby and then having that baby taken back to the family of origin later, but they tell us that babies placed for foster-to-adopt are rarely not adopted. This is still an incredibly long road -- we could wait years -- but we are starting the process. I do think that we will have a mixed family (some kids biological and others adopted) because I don't know how many more IVFs/pregnancies I can handle.)

Bodie- How exciting!!! Congrats! Praying your babies will continue to grow! Hope everything is okay w/your DH and work.

Ninde- Thank you for asking. Sometimes I feel a little out of place here. Not because of any of you but because I have a good wait before our IVF adventure. I've been so anxious lately! I will probably get some anxiety medication again. I've needed them a good while anyway but the wait makes it worse. I'm glad to be here though!! I'm glad I can offer my support even though I don't know much about this for now. I'm also learning from everyone so I won't be in the dark so much when we do start! :)

I think I missed the skype part. With my time difference I fall behind and miss some things.

We- Glad the test came and the Chromosomes are normal. Praying one of the next test will give you some answers, so your next cycle is successful to the end!

Neffi- Praying your lining is perfect and it's just the medicine. I completely understand the jealously part. I've gotten better at it but it still creeps up sometimes. I'ts perfectly normal though!

Blessed- Thank you! Here soon I'm getting back on Thyroid medication and metformin. Can't wait! So sick of my hair falling out and the Thyroid will help with that, it did before. Should have stayed on it but will this time! Glad your appointment went well. Not long now! Praying for your BFP!

Sunshine- I'm so excited for you!! Not long now at all!! Praying you get a BFP!

Leora- Yes it's def expensive! Hubby, son and I can fly for around $5 on a military plane space available. Sometimes though there aren't flights and you're sleeping at the airport. We did that this summer and took a day so we slept in the airport until it closed. Then we were in the truck. Got a flight that afternoon. During off time it's okay but not summer or winter months.

My parents flew in a friends plane one time and he was messing around so she's never flown since. I told her big planes are better but there's always that one time....She could see so much though and she won't get on a cruise either. I just miss her. My Dad has come to visit though :)

Glad AF is on her way and hope she comes exactly when you need her too!

That's great you started the process! We've thought about it but couldn't bare it if I couldn't keep him/her. If our IVF doesn't work we will think about it.

AFM- Sitting and waiting. Going in a couple of weeks for all the medication I SHOULD have been taking all along! I'm calling up my old RE I did IUI's with in the states and getting them mailed to me hopefully. Going to try and get them from here last time we lived here also. It wasn't an RE but she I did to Clomid/ Trigger with her but that's it. My hospital here can't request those so hope they give me copies.

Just got back from the e2/us. 19 follies, ones at 22, some at 19, most are at 16. Talked with a nurse practitioner, she thinks they'll trigger me tonight or tomorrow. Fingers are crossed.

Julia73 - 19 follicles is great! I had 18 for the fresh retrieval that ultimately yielded DD. If your first try doesn't work you should have quite a few frosties to give it another go.

Gina1976 - ty!

Ninde - please see below regarding my follies. I just realized that you had a M/C my dear. I'm so sorry, I've had one myself and I know how devastating it is. But you have hope - you can get pregnant! I went on to have DD after my m/c so please hang in there.

WeHaveHope - thank you! I had to postpone a month for personal reasons. I had results similar to your genetic testing results after my M/C. It was my first one though so we didn't go through with any additional testing. I have also had polyps removed as a result of multiple hysteroscopies. I hope they can find whatever is going on with you and fix it! Also, if you could move me to stims in the roll call, that would be great.

Neffi - yes, your name looks familiar too. Looks like your transfer is soon?

Just had a regroup with my doctor. She doesn't sound concerned about the leading follicles or my low estrogen levels (258 on day 6 of stims). She said it's consistent with what they have seen using Bravelle and that things catch up. They have really upped the doses on my meds just in case. Expecting about 17 follies for retrieval, still on Halloween. Spooky baby, I'm waiting for you! :)

Only have 10 minutes before heading out to work, but appt went well this morning. Lining is now 9.1 and this is day6 of my cycle along with a follicle now measuring 20. (Yesterday my lining was only around 5 and tha folli was around 16), so alot has grown just over night! I'm panicking b/c like I said this is only day6 and there are 3 follies measuring 12 so I really want them to catch up before the IUI. Nurse think I'll be triggering either tonight or tomorrow. I got home and realized I didn't ask for a specimen cup, (my clinic is 2.5 hours from home) like I said this is all happening so fast! Be back this evening to calm down and check up on everyone. I called my RE's office today to request a copy of the genetic testing on the tissue sample. Honestly, I don't even know why I wanted to see the results. My Re had already discussed the results with me yesterday and he had informed me that our little one had 46 normal chromosomes. So the plan is to do the RPL Panel and an hysteroscopy with endometrial biopsy. But anyways, I asked them to fax me the results. The results say "46 XY Normal Chromosomes". Our little on was a boy. Why do I do this to myself???

I didn't see my test results, but I was told "normal female nonmaternal chromosomes". So my little one lost was a girl. It hurts to have your lost little angel just that much more tangible. Being over 3 years past that and with my DD now, I can honestly say it gets much better. You'll get there too sweetie!

We- I'm so sorry, I know you must be sick of hearing that but I am. I hope that as time goes by this eases more and more.

Sunshine- your news is very exciting! I'm sure you're a wreck and trying to get it together with all of this overwhelming info all at once. Keep your chin up! You're in His hands.

I know I'm missing people, I do apologize. I will write more later.
We have to go all the way back to nashville in the morning, again. Another e2/us. Estradiol level was 2859 today, they aren't triggering me tonight. What are they waiting on?? I'm so frustrated. Ready to get on with it but need to trust God's plan. His time not mine. Argh! Hope they trigger me tomorrow. I'll be out of fsh in the morning and they know this!
