Hello,
im 6w2d pregnant went for an u/s (trans-vaginal) saw a yolk sac with a baby inside measuring right where it should be at this stage, but no heartbeat yet. my RE said the everything looks great but im very anxious, don't u think that we should be able to see a HB by 6 weeks????
anyone has such an experience ???

Hi! Just wanted to share that there is still hope. At my 6w visit we saw a gestational sac & yolk sac. When we went back at 6w6d we could see & hear the h/b on the ultrasound so it started beating somewhere between 6-7 weeks which is perfectly normal. Good luck!!

There's definitely hope! I'd even say great hope since the sac/baby was measuring right on. I bet if you went back in a few days you'd see that heartbeat. Good luck!

Reem - I'm so sorry. I had a missed miscarriage last year (hb at 6 wks, no hb at 8 wks, D&C at 10wks). Let me know if you have any questions I can help answer about what happens next.

Lou & Leorira - thank u , i will sure ask u if i need anything, now im waiting for the fetus to come down and if it won't i think it will be a D&C, do u know when will my period come after the miscarriage? and ow soon can i try fresh ivf again??

I had a d&c after a m/c at 12 wks. I got my period about 6 weeks after the procedure and started my next ivf cycle with the period following that which came on time. So my d&c was in May and my next fresh transfer was in early August. My RE always thinks it's best to wait one cycle inbetween. You will get your bfp, this proves you can get pregnant. In my case there was a chromosome abnormality. A year later, here I am holding my beautiful daughter. You'll get there!
Leora, you will get there too. I think you will do very well carrying one baby at a time. You remain in my prayers.
