I just had a huge post typed out and my phone acted stupid and its gone.

We- migraines are the pits, so sorry you're having them. Only thing worked for me was imitrex.
could you move me wherever I should be? My transfer is thursday.

Sunshine-i always look forward to reading your posts. Your poem is inspiring! Thank u.

Leora- hated hearing about your tooth. I've broken 2 one week apart. That's no fun. Hope it gets feeling better.

Jayne-welcome! Looks like you and I are at the same spot in this journey. My er was saturday.

Afm- got a message yesterday that we have 4 eggs fertilized. Isn't that a little low? We started out with 12 eggs. I don't get it. I'm not meaning to sound ungrateful. We are blessed to have any. I'm just confused. And isn't it likely that the number will decrease again?? Ugh. Anyway. 5 day transfer is scheduled for thursday. Please keep our embys in your prayers y'all. Thank you.

Happy Halloween and this is the very first year I haven't bought candy imagine that? Figured we could always pass out dental floss if it came down to it. I better text dh to remind him not to come home until around 10 tonight, I'll be working late so this is the plan. Anywho, this morning dh and I bd one last time to cover all the bases and it was a quickie since he was leaving for work, so glad I got that in! 30 minutes later I showered and took my room temperature tablet of progesterone and thyroid med and layed there on a towel for about 20-30 minutes letting it all absorb. Got up and dressed made a delicious breakfast. My cousin is a chef and his facebook post inspire me to try new things...I had a pre-cooked ham, diced it and sauteed onions and added 3 eggs and once that was done added velvetta cheese yum-O :D then spreaded a little bit of salsa on bread and toasted it. It was quite delicious, but my cousin would of added spices and more ingredients for sure, always good to venture out and try new things! My coworker gave me a name of a nutritionist yesterday that might could influence me to eat healthier, will see. I'm one to pick up fast food over cooking but just might surprise dh and bring on some
homecooked meals. He laughed when I bought him a cucumber the other day, but hey it's got plenty of zinc!

We-I loved your halloween greeting so very cute! :D How is your migrane today? Will be thinking about you tomorrow too.

Julia, I know what you mean even for my cycle I only had two mature-looking follies (c/t to 5 last cycle) while dh had a great sperm count this time, so it's so hard to tell what the outcome will be. I know you were disappointed from 12 to 4, but you are still in the run with 4 embryos to going to blastocyst anything is possible. All we can do is pray together, we've already had enough to worry about so we should have faith and put everything into His precious hands. :)

Blue, your husband is too funny videoing the injections and singing, he is going to be an excellent father hands on from day 1! :D Your ultrasound is one day apart from my beta and I'm thinking Julia, JenMink and Amanda will be finding out next week too! Now that is going to be an eggciting week :!:

Amanda, did you find out when you could start poas? Dh hide my sticks from me but he doesn't know I ahve one left from a precious cycle. Those sticks are so expensive, but I can see how they would become so addictive! :D I'm trying not to read into signs too much because it could just be the progesterone tablets. I'm thinking next time I might go for the PIO shots since I've gotten somewhat brave with needles, took me a year to get this far. The tablets are so messy and often they break apart into pieces before I even get one opened.

Jayne, I'm going to keep praying that tomorrow brings you good embie news and all of them make it!

Jen86, I know this journey is never easy, but we know all the sacrifices we make will someday be worth it. I'm praying for you!

AFM: Must do some cleaning before work now, Happy Halloween for those who celebrate this holiday, have a good week!

Sorry I disappeared over the weekend ladies. Our home PC is currently busted and I don't have the patience to post from my phone. Lots to catch up on so only a few personals.

Leorira - good on you for taking charge of your doses. It would be tough having a clinic that's entirely unavailable 2 days a week. Nov. 20th is my mom's 60th birthday. I'll be with her in Vegas to celebrate and will be sending you good thoughts.

Neffi - hang in there. Better to wait until your lining is perfect for your little embies.

Julia - 4 sounds low to me too. Were some of the eggs immature? That happened to me for my very first cycle. Just remember though, it does only take one!

Long weekend for me. On top of 2 SnS appointments, DD was throwing up all day yesterday. Yesterday morning my follies looked great and the nurse fully expected to trigger last night. But the call came and no trigger. No more stims, just dexamethasone and ganirelix. Well, lucky me, I was out of ganirelix so I had to drive BACK down to the clinic (45 minutes each way) for another dose. Apparently the RE looked at my estrogen levels and decided a few more follies could sprout if we waited another day. Seems to have paid off as I did have more follies (at least 8 above 18mm) this morning, and a lovely 12mm lining! Can't imagine I won't trigger tonight.

Oh, one more reply I wanted to post.

JenMink - you asked whether I wanted fresh or PGD having done PGD yourself. I really do go back and forth. On one hand, I have DD from a prior IVF cycle without PGD, so I'd like to just get moving and get pregnant already with a fresh cycle. However, this study has much improved pregnancy rates with its complete chromosomal PGD, 70-75% success rates even in my age group. I've also had to deal with a m/c before so it would ease my mind knowing that genetically normal embryos were transferred. Good luck with those pretty blasts!

The embies are not growing as they would like them to. We are going in tomorrow for a 3 day transfer. Somebody please tell me this could work. I'm so scared.

Julia- I'm sure it will be fine. Those babies want their momma, that's all. You can't recreate a momma's uterus perfectly in a petri dish, it's best for them to be in you!

Julia - Sending many thoughts and prayers your way for a smooth transfer tomorrow with a great outcome.

Sunshine - Sounds like an awesome breakfast spread! I love to have a full, home-cooked breakfast.

kerpupples - I hope your daughter is feeling better today. What a pain about the ganirelix. It sounds like you are doing great with your cycle - good luck with triggering and ER!

blessed - (((hugs))) I hope you have brighter days ahead in the very near future.

Leora - What's the deal with the tooth now? I hope you are able to get into the dentist soon - it really sounds like no fun :(

jen - So sorry to hear the news about beta #2. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

blue - It sounds like you are doing great. I hope the exhaustion will begin to let up soon!

We - I hope you are feeling MUCH better today. I think seeing the neurologist can't hurt - maybe he/she will have some new ideas for you, though I totally understand about not wanting to add new dr.'s appointments to the mix.

I am on my 8th night of stims. DH came back to Israel today and I am so happy! It has been tough going at this cycle solo. I am also so relieved to have him take over the injections because I am so horrible at mixing and injecting (I am always convinced that a good fraction of the injection winds up still in the vial/on the kitchen table/on my skin when I do them). Tomorrow morning I go back in for monitoring…we'll get to see if I am ready to trigger. My projected ER date is Thurs or Fri.

Julia~One of my friends was told she had only one poor quality embryo to transfer and she is about to give birth to a healthy boy. You never know. I'll be thinking positive thoughts for you. Btw, my first cycle I stimulated with 12 eggs only to have 2 embryos to transfer. My physician said that he didn't want to stimulate me as much this time because sometimes the quality improves with less stimulation. This time I only got 8 eggs but I still have 4 embryos in the running on day 4. And I feel so much better with this cycle. I'll be thinking of you. My transfer is tomorrow too.

Julia, if it makes you feel any better, my DD was frozen at only 6 cells, one of the slowest developers. Remember dear that it only takes one!

Jen, that sounds promising to me!

Rosie - Thank you, DD seems much better today. See below, we may have ER on the same day now. I'm SOOO ready, feeling like crap! LOL about the injections. I have started doing mine in the brightest light in the house and I peer into the bottle suspiciously when I draw up because I'm afraid of not getting all the meds.

Jayne, welcome and good news on those embies. Hope they continue to grow nicely.

A call from the clinic and I am still NOT triggering. AAAAAAAAGHH! Nurse says the only thing that makes sense to her is that my e2 level is at 2900, but with the number of follicles they expect it to be around 4000. So now another night of stims, and a projected ER of Thursday!!!! Good news about that is that we are expecting snow here Tues/Wed so it will make for a better commute to the surgery center.
