4dp 5dt I got into a car accident. Hit another car going about 40mph *eek*. I am really stressed about what this did to my embryos =[ . I got jarred pretty hard-- ugh I cannot think about it.

5dp 5dt and I am having a lot of back cramping today (lower). I have had this with previous BFN cycles and not sure if it's just the PIO, anybody? Some Uterine cramping to but it's more like poking and shooting pains, very mild AF cramping. A little nautious today but probably the PIO.

Trying to hang on to the PMA Beta in 5 days! I will be POAS on Sunday however so that DH and I can find out the results in the comfort of our own home and not at work. I will be 9dp 5dt by this time so I am pretty sure it will show us the true result. I will keep you ladies posted on this.

Well I have to go to bed. Add extremely tired to my symptoms this week. Weird headaches too, totally different than AF ones that I get.

Christy - my dentist still gives me a sticker for every filling Ask - they'll probably give you a lollipop if you want one! That's what I miss most from being a kid -- I want a sticker every time I get blood drawn at the IVF clinic! oooooh turkey - I love love love turkey -- no one here buys the whole bird and stuffs it - the ovens are too small! I special ordered a whole turkey for our first Thanksgiving here, and had a huge problem when it didn't fit in my teeny oven! I had to cook it on the grill! I also hate the messy suppositories -- I'll start mine in a few weeks and hopefully continue them for a long time. The only upside of a BFN is stopping the messy suppositories!

About your annoying traffic violation -- I grew up in a house one away from a 4-way stop intersection. My parents rarely (if ever) completely stopped at that intersection, because our driveway was about 15ft away from it. Of course, one night I was with my mom in the car and she 'yielded' at the stop sign. A cop pulled her over IN FRONT OF OUR HOUSE! My dad was standing in the window, watching and laughing at us while my mom got a traffic violation.

Amanda - Tuscaloosca? What an awesome name of a city to live in!

kerpupples - I loved "The Help" book too and haven't seen the movie yet! At this point, I'll just wait until it comes out on DVD. Have fun with the Village People -- I would love to see some of the shows in Vegas -- group trip someday? I can't wait to hear what part of the study you fall into! Good luck with retrieval today!

Laura (and Christy) - I think about baby names all the time! We came up with some AWFUL choices for our boy/girl twins (and ended up never naming them. I wanted to, but DH was really against it). Micha was named after my DH's grandfather. (Pronounced with the harsh "ch" sound that most Americans can't say, but the same name as Micah in English- Micha was one of the biblical prophets.) Asaf is a Hebrew name that means "harvest" or "addition" - they were due during the Jewish 'harvest' holiday (Sukkot) and he was the "additional" baby (baby B)!

As for future babies' names, I would really like a name that reflects what we've been through. Lots of names in Hebrew give praise to God - but I'm not so thrilled with God at the moment and I'm having a lot of doubts with my belief. Lots of people give names that mean "comfort" (Nechama, Menachem) to babies born after a loss (not necessarily a loss of a child or pregnancy, but also a loss of a parent/grandparent/sibling/etc), but I don't like that sentiment so much. Any baby we have in the future will not 'comfort' me about everything we've been though.

I would love to name a baby with the meaning of "journey" or something (but not Journey - too much a stripper's name!). The girl's name "Tikva" means "Hope" in Hebrew, maybe that (although I don't love the way it sounds). I really like the name "Grace", but there isn't really an equivalent in Hebrew. I've always loved the girl's name Dafna (Daphne in English, means "Laurel" in Greek). DH's grandmother was Rose, so there may be a Rose/Rosa/Rosie/Roslyn in our future!

Boys names are tough! I had a hard time coming up with names for the boys I've had already! Maybe "Nadav" (means 'generous')? I like the name "Etai" too...

Hopefully I'll have reason to start thinking of baby names again soon!

Jayne - people who started TTC the same time as us have more than one kid already! Crazy.... even our friends who also had fertility problems are having kids before us.... it's not a race, but it's hard to watch. I'm sorry you didn't get any to freeze. Hopefully, this will work and you won't need frozen embryos, but it's always nice to have backup.

Becca - congrats! How did the frostie survive the thaw? Enjoy taking advantage of your husband for the next little while!

Ninde - since we already had a 'pubic hair' discussion - let's start a waxing vs shaving one! Why do you prefer waxing? I shave, but not very frequently in the winter! Hurray for long pants and tights/leggings!

Maria - would you like me to take over a list-mistress so you can take a break from us? What kind of math are you studying? Are they going to put you to sleep for the D&C? I was. The hysteroscopy wasn't painful, but just very uncomfortable. Endo biopsy I had done with no pain killers and it HURT! (just a warning ,not to scare you!) Either a cruise or NYC sounds great! I lived in NYC for several years, it's great fun, especially at Xmas time! I've never done a cruise, but I've always wanted too! Sorry I haven't skyped - I've been crazy busy!

Jen - how scary! (is the car okay?) I was in a fender bender the say that I got my BFP last August (at 7dp5dt) and freaked freaked freaked out! (I did miscarry, but it wasn't related to that at all!) Anything (cramping, bloating, tenderness) can be a sign of a BFN or a BFP -- you never know! I'm hoping for you! 9dp5dt will probably show you an accurate result (although, I never believe a BFN until beta....) I totally understand wanting to get the news at home and not at work, that is why I started POAS during my first cycle (I waited until beta day, but POAS in the morning). Now, I've just become obsessed

AFM - just plodding along... taking my 3 (umm... secretly 4) pills a day.... waiting for Sunday's adoption meeting and Monday's SnS

Finally getting cold here - I put on a sweater this morning! Still wearing sandals though I probably shouldn't be. I pulled my boots out of the back of my closet and wore them on Monday --- I forgot that the heel had broken the last time I wore them in March! Time to go shoe shopping...)

Sunshine: oh that's ok, I thought I had offended you. And I do get where you are coming from is your beta on the 11th. My next steps are to try and get healthier in terms of supplements and I need to drop 7kgs at least. That's my target weight for this but realistically I could shift an additional 7 and that would be better. I'm 4 weeks over the d&c and waiting for at. I should get beta done with my normal doc too I think. Depending on at I think we will start again in Jan.

Jenminks: I know its not much to hear it from non medical person but I think you should be fine. Those little ones are hopefully burrowed really deeply by now. But get lots of rest.

Leorira: I must have missed the pubic hair discussion?! I definately prefer waxing!! I find iget stubbly from shaving which I dont like. And about a year ago I changed salons and they suggested I go from extended bikini waxing to Brazilian and I much prefer it. It does hurt a bit but yesterday I had my first coffee in 4 months and it was about an hour before the appointment and the caffeine kicked in big time and I was fine!!!! So yay for waxing:)

Leora- I am a crazy POAS addict. I did POAS tonight but it was neg. I know it is way too early, but I just couldn't help myself. Last cycle I had a girl I work with take a test too even though she wasn't pregnant so I could make sure the tests were working right..I was def the mayor of crazy town that cycle. We actually live in Harvest, AL which did get hit by one of the many tornadoes & we were without power for 7 days, but we were lucky compared to the people who lost their homes & loved ones
Tuscaloosa got hit harder than we did. It was bad all over.

Sunshine- That is why I opted for the shots instead of the vaginally tablets. What is one more shot or my case 2 more shots? LOL No mess,but a sore & bruised butt.

keripuppies- how did the ER go?

LaurenN-I have been coming up with baby names too. I like Grayson Anthony for a boy and Alexis Grey for a girl. Hopefully we will get to use them this time I like to use Grey bc DH middle name is Heath-Grey.

jayne321- I am an xray technologist at a trauma hospital, so I go to the units every night for the morning portables or when they need us.

AFM; Just going stir crazy waiting on Monday. I have POAS and it was negative, but I am only 7 days post ET. DH & I went
out to eat for our anniversary & we watched Captain America & Fast Five at home. It is 4a.m here about to lay down then when I wake up I will POAS again. I know I am driving my DH crazy he wants me to wait, but I just don't have it in me. I mean we put 4 embryos in surely one took right??

Jen- I am so sorry to hear about your wreck! How are you feeling today? Did u go to the er? Keep us posted.

Amanda- I know exactly what you mean about them having put 4 in. there just has to be one! I'm wondering how I will feel about it if all 4 took lol. My friends are like youre crazy! I don't think so, I'll be happy with whatever we get.

Sunshine- somehow I've missed what stage you're at I this right now. Did you have the fet or et?

Afm- this is my first day off bedrest and I'm hesitant to do too much. I'm thinking of making french onion soup from scratch today, something I've always wanted to do and was actually able tp get gruyere which where I used to live was impossible to buy. I need to do some laundry and change the sheets but DH feels like that's too strenuous. I want him to feel secure so I'll respect that I guess. As for baby names, the first baby we'd like to match dh's initials, LST, so lillian sheila, lillian was the name of our families nanny, sheila is my mothers. If a boy, Liles Seth. Liles is a family name on dh.s side, seth we like bc it means appointed. My beta isn't until the 14th. That was the original date we scheduled when we thought we were doing a 5dt. I wish we could change that to be sooner. We go in for progesterone check on the 7th. I wish they could check me then. This is maddening and my transfer was only on saturday lol.

Leora-thanks for the offer. I don't think I'm ready to give up being list mistress just yet. As much as I need the break, I can imagine taking a break from you ladies. But please know that if I do, I will definantely let you know. I can't wait for it to start cooling down here in Florida. You never know here, the weather changes from one minute to te next. We cruise every summer with the kids and typically do a short cruise in the winter just DH and I. I absolutely love cruising. DH and I have been on about 15 cruises. The kids have been on about 10 cruises. Cruises are so much fun. You can relax anddo nothing or enjoy all the activities onboard. Don't worry about not being able to Skype. We will do it whenever you get a chance.

Sunshine-I'm a Licensed Nurse and have been wanting to go back to school to get my RN/BSN. Eventualy, I would love to get my ARNP (Nurse Practitioner). Since I haven't been to college in many years, I'll have to take the Math College enterance exam. I tell you, I have no problem with calculating medication dosages or calculating an IV drip rate, but Algebra kills me. So my DS's tutor is tutoring mr now. Go figure. I would highly suggest doing the traffic school. You don't want the points in your drivers license. I'm still praying for you BFP.

Good morning from chilly Pennsylvania, ladies! I was out yesteday w/ a stupid migraine, but I'm back in action today. All this talking of POAS is making me blotchy, but my husband asked me not to. He just wants to wait for the beta on Monday...which I swear feels like it's weeks away!

Blessed - Sending you prayers and happy thoughts for a smooth transfer!

Julia - One of 'em's gotta stick! I didn't do any bedrest, wasn't told it was necessary. Heck I've been walking on the treadmill everyday at 3mph and keeping my HR around 110 which is what I've read is fine. I am thinking about going to my Yoga class tonight. I skipped last week after the transfer, but I'm going to call my doc today to see if it's OK to go tonight since I'm 11dp3dt. I figure if they aren't stuck now, they aren't going to.

Jenminks - I do hope you are OK after your fender bender.

Becca - hope the hubs is still waiting on your every need!

Maria - just sending you all the strength in my heart.

And to the rest of you ladies, I'm not great w/ the words sometimes, but I do hope you are all having good days and taking each one as is comes w/ a smile on your face. I'm learning thru this whole expereience that women are so strong...so much more so than we're given credit for. Our hopes are dashed and we keep our families and ourselves together though sometimes we're wearing our "crazy pants" while we're doing it.

Wow this board moves fast overnight...Everyone must be posting while I'm sleeping the difference in the time zone. Which reminds me we have daylight savings in the US this coming weekend, it only gets me up earlier not much of an advantage! Anyway I just buttered and stuffed a 16 pound turkey, you would think I would have more then 3 people over for dinner, I thought the same thing so last night I invited my next door neighbors to join us, they are like family to us anyway. My mom should be at the airport by 2 so I it will be fun having her help me some in the kitchen this afternoon. My grandmother (from Alabama) gave me her potato salad recipe over a decade ago so every year I bring it back out and it is always everyone's favorite dish. I whipped the potato salad up last night, made the sweet tea and cranberry mold so the only things left is the green bean cassarole and dressing and maybe baked apples...I rally wanted homemade apple pie but my mom's baked apples would be something different for dh and the neighbors to try. I was quite alieved that I stayed around $60 at the grocery store yesterday, usually I spend so much more.

JenMink, oh no I hope your back is ok. Your embies are snuggled in warm comfort. I cannot wait to hear about your upcoming beta girl.

Julia, I did another IUI for this cycle, dh is so ready to move forward but my doctor thought we needed to try one more giving us 4 total iuis with fertility treatment--2 of these IUIs were done at another clinic. I know this sounds crazy but my last iui showed 7 follies with poor sperm count and this one we had 2 follies over 16 with a third one at 15mm but over 5.5 million spern count. I'm trying to find a balance because each iui cycle has not been consistant, so I'm wondering if he would recommend us to try one more? I hope it doesn't come to that though, like I said previously we are doing iuis only b/c nothing I have been doing is covered by my insurance and an iui is a whole lot more reasonable in cost. We can do 5 iuis for the price of one IVF. However, we have tried IVF before and will probably look into the IVF Attain Program mid November if this cycle doesn't take, but so praying that it does!

WeHAveHope, I might need to look into traffic school, maybe it would keep my auto insurance down but yielding at a red light happens all the time. I loved your mother's story in ya'lls on neighborhood. We have po-po's that live up the street so that would be very likely to happen to me too! A cruise sounds refreshing...never been on one cannot talk dh into it yet!


Amanda, I would opt for the sore butt over these messy progesterone tablets and it says on the package to store them in the refrigerator who does that anyway. I used to but learned it not worth taking a chance of inserting an icicle.

Leorira, I wish all of you lived closer to me to share this 16 pound bird with us for dinner tonight, I know we'll be having turkey sandwiches until thanksgiving. My brother Todd is having his son's first birthday and thanksgiving dinner in S.C. in 3 weeks so my mom will be eatting very well. Blackout vacation at work starts on Nov. 15th so I'm going to be here this holiday season but that is ok I have really good neighbors so we're always in good company around here.

AFM: Getting the house ready for mom and my dh wants to take us bowling tomorrow night for a United Way fundraiser, I'm still in the 2ww so I am a little nervous about lifting a 5 pound bowling ball.

I guess that has something to do with when they thaw. I believe they started at a grade 8? Said they were really good. But I cant remember what they said. Praying that these embies stick and thrive!
