LYD~ So glad you reached out. I go to San Diego Fertility Clinic. One of my friends went to IGO and she was happy (got pregnant). It sounds like we're so similar. If this cycle doesn't work, I will try only one more time too. I'm starting to feel unhealthy on all of these hormones. I am blessed with a beautiful son and I don't want to keep pushing myself. I am starting to get a little excited about possibly adopting a foreign baby. That is a new energy/idea for us. I live in Encinitas.

Jayne - I know san diego fertility clinic - i do fertility accupuncture in the office across the hall. yes - i like IGO quite a bit. they are not exactly a fertility clinic, more like a specialized OBGYN. my doc works with embryologyst from reproductive sciences center. anyway, it has worked once - here is hoping it will work again. and they are so nice there - it makes the experience as tolerable as it can be given the circumstances. i live near carmel valley.

i am feeling a lot of cramping all of a sudden. here is hoping this AF is coming.

Sunshine - I love your idea of drawing names. Secretly I think to myself that I deserve to decide the names, since I was the human pin cushion for 2 years. Isn't that awful, lol. Your way is much fairer. Are you going to POAS? I hope so, I can't wait until the 10th, lol!!

Jayne - I hear you. I remember my sister in law telling me she was pregnant after my first mc. Her daughter turned 2 in september. This can be a long road...and mine is not that long compared to some of you.

Becca - congrats on being PUPO!

Gina - so sorry to hear about your grandma and what she is going through.

JenMink - sorry to hear about the accident. I'm sure those embies are in there tight and you should not worry.

AFM - In case any of you have the same issue, I learned from my RE that the endometrin suppositories can cause irritation of the cervix and bleeding. I've been spotting on and off since Saturday and its been driving me crazy, so I asked her if that could be it, and she said sure, we see that all the time! Geez. I am thinking of switching to PIO, just because seeing the blood all the time is so stressful. My next u/s is Tuesday (7 weeks 2 days). OK kind of a funny story - today as I was leaving our cafeteria they were selling tickets to the Children's Holiday Party. The girl yelled out to me "Do you need tickets for the children's holiday party". I almost burst into tears on the spot. How embarrassing. I barely kept it together and walked away. She probably thought I was so rude.

Gina, I'm barely in it and feel like I've been waiting for at least a week. I keep thinking the et was on saturday but it was tuesday and DH had to remind me lol.

Gina- I am on day 8 and I am going crazy. I can't wait to go asleep so I can POAS again!!! I am a 3rd shifter so I won't be going to sleep until like 5a.m it is going to be a long night. It is 8pm here.I want to believe the positive from earlier but we had a chemical before so I am not getting too excited yet.

My goodness, we have so much excitement on our board. It's hard for me to keep up. It's the end of the day for me and I am impatiently waiting for dh to get home from work. My cramps and fatigue weren't quite as bad today. I barely noticed the cramps. Tomorrow will be different! Saturday will be 6 weeks and my u/s will be just before 7 wks. I'm crossing my fingers! My good friend just m/c. I'm sad for her. We were going to be pg buddies. She is an IVFer too. They went for the u/s and there was no heartbeat.

Hi guys, I just wanted to update you that I am home from my egg retrieval! We got 10 eggs, which was about what we were expecting. I don't yet know how many were mature. We are doing 1/2 ICSI, 1/2 natural fertilization. I was the first retrieval of the morning which was pretty awesome, because there was no waiting around at all.

We are really hoping to do a day 5 transfer this time around but of course that all depends on how our embryos do. My RE suggested that perhaps we transfer one embryo on day 3 and then a second embryo on day 5. I had never heard of this before - has anyone else done this? It sounds like an interesting idea...I guess it would be a bit of an insurance policy in case none of the embryos make it to day 5. I am so happy to be home and resting - just hoping for good news when the RE calls me tomorrow night!

Julia- I agree 2ww's are horrible! Feels like an eternity no matter how close you get to test day!

Amanda- I am a POAS addict myself! My cycles are so off I do them once every 2 months. Last time I was 5 months along already when I found out! We weren't in an IVF cycle or anything so it was a miracle and I guess I've Ovulated once in all these years! Only been in 3 official 2ww's and they are horrible to wait out!

Blue- Excited about your U/S!! I'm sorry about your friend. I can't begin to imagine her pain. I know it's hard for you seeing her go through that, not only because you're friends and was looking forward to being pregnant together, but it makes you worry for yourself also.

Rosie- so happy you're home and getting comfortable. I'm praying for your success with these embies. I've not heard about the type of transfer you mentioned but it does sound intresting. Please keep us posted.

Blue, yay! Praying for your u/s results. I'm sure everything will be great.

Gina- man it truly does feel like aeons. But this too shall pass. I'm anxious and want to poas but DH is dead set against it.

Oh my gosh am I only 3dpt if my et was tuesday? Or does that make it 4dpt?? I can't even figure that much out now lol.

Julia- lol hang in there!! Yeah every time I would POAS I swear THE NEXT day I would get AF no matter how long I waited! I waited 5 days after my 2ww to test after my last failed IUI (they don't beta unless you get + at home) and no lie, the next day AF! So when I do make it to IVF I refuse to do it! I say that now......lol.

I know my family is very busy at this time but I just read my nieces (we aren't friends on fb but can see her wall) that my Grandmother will pass today. They could have called me last night.


I called (thank goodness my stateside cell came on and my sisters # was in it) and she had a stroke last night. They said she isn't in any pain which I am happy about. I know miracles can happen and we sure need one but I don't think we'll get one this time. My Grandfather and their stillborn baby and waiting at the pearly gates for her. I have comfort knowing that.
