On 10/14 I transferred 2 3 day embies. Here were my betas:
10/27- 46
10/29- 59
10/31- 105
I thought for sure that my numbers with today's beta would have gone down, but they didn't! I also started spotting this morning, which made me think my journey was over for this round. Imagine my surprise when the nurse told me my numbers nearly doubled this time!
So from previous experience, what are the chances of this being a viable pregnancy? I think I'll have an ultrasound next week. For the first time since 10/27 I have hope!

There is definitely hope! On my first cycle, the third to fourth beta was nowhere near where it was supposed to be (and it started at 31!). My beautiful daughter is now 19 months old.

There is hope. Would have been better if they had risen consistently, as you know.

I went in for a beta this past Thursday 11/3 and it was 341! I was very excited at first and then my nurse told me that they are concerned that it could be an ectopic. So, I go in this Monday for more blood work and an ultrasound. I haven't had any bleeding (only minor spotting early this week, but only stained toilet paper and not my pantyliner- sorry for TMI) or cramping, so I'm holding out hope that I will have a viable pregnancy!

The current rapid rise suggests an ectopic is unlikely. Always good to watch for them, though.

I went in today for my ultrasound and blood work. My hcg came back at 890. My ultrasound showed a very small empty sack (no ectopic, which is good). I go back next Tuesday for another ultrasound to see if there is a yolk/heartbeat/etc. My RE is not very hopeful, but she's not ready to give up either. I realize that my numbers should be a lot bigger now and the sack should have been bigger, had a yolk, etc, so I am a little disappointed.
I really would like to know the chances of this being a viable pregnancy. Does anybody have any thoughts?

After today, I am definitely a believer in miracles--- we saw and heard a heart beat today!!! I couldn't believe it! It is still measuring small for where it should be, but OMG I saw and heard a heart beat!!! I had convinced myself that it probably didn't work this time so I was in total shock when my doctor said, "here's your little Christmas miracle!". I have to go back for more bloodwork and an ultrasound next Monday 11/21.
The only bad thing was my blood pressure was through the roof! My normal BP is 110-100 over 60-80 and today it was 134/101! It worries me a bit because I had pre-e with the girls. I'm hoping it was just from the emotions and excitement of the day.
Question for Ghost or anyone, according to my records, I'm 6w6d pregnant and due July 4. But interestingly enough, my RE showed I am 7w2d on the ultrasound, I'm not sure what that's about. I did a 3 day FET on 10/14. Am I right on 6w6d?

My count is closer to yours, at 7wk 0d based on the embryo (14+3+17+15=49days=7weeks 0days). It was a day 3, not a blast, right? A blast would make it 7wk 2d.

Thought I'd update that I went back to the RE yesterday and my little miracle bean doubled in size and the heart rate is 141! I'm now 8 weeks 2 days! There is hope for low betas after all!
