Post by Ninde »

Morning ladies I posted to everyone last night at 2am and an automatic update of my Motorola zoom tablet kicked in and i lost it all so im going to try and recreate, apologies if its not as thorough as last night.

Amanda: lol you will be able to set up your own clinic with your science tests!! That's looking like a strong line.

lyd: I hope the af dance worked - has it?

Kerpupples: wow 36 eggs, that's fantasric!! Forgive my ignorance but why do you have to wait a month?

Jayne: how are you now after the crash? Why are you on steroids? And im glad you are having those symptoms and honestly I doubt they are in your head. :D

Sunshine: how was dinner with your mum go with the giant turkey? :D

Gina: im so sorry to hear about your grandmother, its so hard watching someone in pain and shesounds tomean the world to you. Im sending you strength through this difficult time

Bodie: we only use prog pessaries rather than pio shots, I never bled but i found they irritated me. Im sorry you are having pain. As i mentioned to you, my dh also has multiple sclerosis and was diagnosed 10 years ago. He doesn't really suffer with mobility issues but other ones. However of late he has also been waking with pain in his neck which he feels is muscular but its happening so frequently now I think its ms-related.

Leorira: now is it whiskey that goes into irish hot chocolate? :D and I sent your dh a skype request, my skype address is patriciaallen25 in case he is wondering!!

Becca: its really great you are pupo :-)

Blue: im so sorry about your friend and im sorry for you too because you were pregnant together and that must have been lovely for you both. When is your u/s?

Rose: that's great you got you got 10 eggs. That's really interesting that you have having icsi and ivf. I noticed in your signature you have unexplained fertility issues so is that why they can do naturalnfertilisation too?

Pinkboots: how are you doing? Is it Monday you have your beta?

Wehavehope: im going to echo your dh and get on your case - are you having your main/pedi this weekend? :-)

Blessed: im glad you are taking it easy. How is the cramping?

Hopethisworks: that's such good news, congratulations.

Neffi: how are you?

I really hope I got everyone.

Afm: I had hoped to wake up this morning feeling better but I havnt. Im feeling horribly hormonal, crying constantly and cant get myself together. I hope af comes soon because this is like continuous pms. Im also having real problem shifting weight despite starting on my fail-safe nutrition plan andin fact I have gained weight since starting. I have some acupuncture set up for wed which I hope helps because i cant go on like this. Does anyone have any ideas?

Ninde

Catdempsey: oh I hope you have you have a positive beta :D

Amanda~ big congrats. You make me laugh. I'm hoping for good betas for you.

Neffi~ AF is around the corner. Yay... you can start moving on.

Ninde~ I think Jen was in the car crash. My car is still intact. It's hard to keep up with everyone. NO worries. As far as the weight thing, it is so hard being on hormones. I finally lost weight when I took a break for 5 months from the hormones. Otherwise, it is so hard with the fluid shifts and the no exercise periods. Hang in there.

Jen~ My beta is Nov 15 because I work on Nov 13 and 14. I will definitely do a HPT before my beta but I haven't decided when. Maybe in another day or two? It's so hard to wait. It's hard to know which symptoms are from the hormones and what could possibly be pregnancy. For me, I honestly won't be too excited this time until I see a heartbeat because my last cycle was so miserable. OHSS and a non viable pregnancy. Not a fun combo.

Blue~ so sorry about the pain. I had bad pain after my ER in my right shoulder. Carried around a heating pad for two days and then it was gone. I hope you feel better soon.

Maria~ thinking of you.

AFM~ I'm off to see my new nephew... the one that my 39 year old sister in law had a whoops night and now they have 3 boys. "we weren't even trying".... urrr. Fake smile face. He is really cute though. I should be nicer but it's hard.

Gina- How is your grandmother doing? I received an email from my aunt last night about this years' family Christmas... Instead of having the annual family tradition at her house this year she has decided to have our family get-together at the nursing home. It was really bothered by this at first, but now I'm begining to understand they want to keep her in a "comfort zone". My aunt is thinking is if she leaves the nursing home for whatever reason she might get confused on her way back and wonder why she's not going back to her own house instead. She misses her Papa so much and the house is all she has left of him. Meantime I'm trying to find a way to get off from work on this weekend, told some of my family it might have to be the middle of the week before I'm able to come for a visit. Part of me feels it would be better for her so she wouldn't be overwhelmed with so many people at one time, I know how she tires so easily. At the same time I would never forgive myself if I miss this opportunity to see her one last time. Maybe if we could make it up there before that weekend when everyone else in the family is coming my mind would be more at ease. I always tell dh sadly this may be the last visit everytime we go up there, because we never know. My aunt said she doesn't know if we will be blessed to have her around for one more Christmas, truly everyday we have her should be treated as it could be her last. It's hard to let go of someone we love, yet at some point of time we have to let go, and no it's never easy but it helps to prepare ourselves. It helps to know she has lived a long life and we have so many heart-warming memories, but again it's never easy to let go. She will be missed by so many!

Amanda, You and your dh have me cracking up over here too! Looking forward to Monday so you can officially celebrate with you mom on so many levels. :D I hope her checkup goes well too. I cannot wait to hear your news! :D :D

Ninde, Awww feel better soon I know these hormones are so crazy maybe a good cup of coffee and some relaxation would help? My mother brought in some Hazelnut flavor coffee and my whole house smelled so good this morning! Yes the turkey was gigantic and I almost recreated the scene from "Family Vacation" b.c I almost overcooked it too! The outerlayer skin looked tough, but since it was a 16 pounder we still had plenty of meat.:-) It was so crazy, my other neighbor who so happened to be off this week from work rang the doorbell asking for help b/c he got locked out of his house! We ended up having him and his wife and their 16month old baby to join us for dinner too, so I knew there was a reason for cooking so much. If I can ever find a delicious dressing recipe, everything will be perfect but I used the recipe I found on the backside of Peperridge Farm Stuffing and it was ok, I've had better. What are your family traditions for Thanksgiving?

AFM: The house that was once a zoo is now back to normal, but because some family was sick with sore throat/colds I now want to clean everything.

Sunshine- I completely understand! My mom said there have been so many people around her at the hospital. They aren't limiting people coming in either. My Grandmother actually told my Aunt (her daughter in law) to leave her alone! lol.

I see where your Aunt is coming from. Even if they can't tell her how they feel or find the words, they may wonder why am I not staying home etc..it's sad :(

Hospice will be taking my Grandmother to her home on Monday if she is okay enough to move. I'm glad she will be there in a familiar place. It's hard because one day she was fine and my Mom and Uncle were taking turns staying with her at night. They just got a sitter to help relieve them at times and she went downhill the next day! Wasn't able to say "goodbye" to her house or anything. The nurses called family to the hospital and said she wouldn't make it through the day and she's been sitting up and eating a sandwich and breakfast by herself! She is terminal and has congestive heart failure. They did a stool sample and saw blood and did test and say she has pancreatic cancer. Her Doctors did want to get it tested weeks ago but she didn't want to. Maybe she could have had chemo/radiation and been okay but then again it could have hurt her being 89. She'll be 90 Jan 3.

The family has had some laughs with the things she says. Of course not at her but with her. She thought her and my Dad were building a cabinet and asked him to pass her some wood and not to let her fall off the roof. She thought my Niece was me and my niece stuck her tongue out, my Grandmother said she looked like a monkey. She tells them to go wash their whites. The funniest one ever was she looked at my Aunt and said, well you have a lot of extra baggage too. LOL.

Gina that is too funny! My grandmother often gets me mixed up with my aunt, we do favor so much but there has to be this 30 year age difference at least. I know I'm getting crow's feet but still...

~Rambling session~ I got my brother's baby the cutest Carter's outfit last night with my mom for his upcoming 1st birthday. I never shopped so fast in one clothing dept in my life! Thanksfully NO babies were in sight though, the gift picking out was hard enough. I asked my mom to wrap it sometime before she heads up there for the party in 2 wks. I started to just to a gift card, but then I remembered that's what I did for the baby shower and although you get what they want/need with a giftcard at the same time it's not as personal...

Sunshine- LOL yeah my niece and I don't look alike at all really. She's very fair skinned, blue eyes and real heavy set. I'm a bit shorter, tan (thanks to my french blood!) all yr round, and much smaller. Not to mention I'm 14 yrs older than her. It kinda made my day though since I wasn't there. :) Apparently tonight she asked for my Nieces pistol LOL.

Ah the baby section. I've avoided that like the plaque mostly. Once in a while we cut through that isle and I'm breathe it in lol. It hasn't worked yet!

AF is here, didnt need too much dancing after all. I will call Monday and see what meds I will start and probably go in for SnS.

I spent some time planning my sisters baby shower today and then spent the rest of the day at a baby expo with two girls from work who are both pregnant and a million pregnant moms walking around. I was able to hold off the tears but now I am going to bed.

All this turkey talk is making me hungry! We will have to share favorite T-day recipes.

Ninde- I'm sorry to hear the your dh has MS. I have it too. It sounds like he may be dealing with some spasticity in the muscles in his neck. I get a ton of muscle pain due to spasticity and take baclofen as needed. I haven't used it since the transfer even though it has been cleared by the dr. What nutrition plan are you on? Do you think hormones could be causing your weight gain? I know you are waiting for AF and I usually gain about 4 lbs in the week before. I hope you feel better.

Maria- Thinking of you. I am not jealous that you have to take a math class. It's hard to get back into it when you have been away for a while.

Jennifer- I am jealous that "the girls" are not sore. Mine hurt like crazy! Good luck POAS tomorrow. I'm eager to see the results.

Julia- My dreams are plain nutty. I have always been a vivid dreamer with realistic dreams and weird dreams. I've had nightmares that could give Tarentino a run for his money.

Neffi-AF dancing! I've very curious about viagra vaginally! That could be very interesting.

Christy- Love the story about your neighbor coming for dinner. I laughed as I envisioned Christmas Vacation. That movie is a family tradition for my family. We watch it every Christmas. It's always tough to figure out what to do when family members are not well. It will probably be best to keep Grandma in her routine if she has confusion. It can be very traumatizing to leave her home environment and go to one that she remembers, but not get to stay. As for baby gift shopping, it can be tough. I went through that and now I find that I enjoy it. I had to work through the pain for a long time. For a while I couldn't attend a baby shower unless it was critical. Now I am ok. I'm glad you were able to choose a gift and you survived!

AFM- The in-laws are here again. They are being very nice and helpful. Although, I'm sure that will get annoying at some point especially since everything seems to be annoying right now! I'm getting lots of questions, advice, etc. My symptoms continue to change. TMI-I now have an increase in fluid discharge. Yeah. My girls hurt like crazy and I was so sad that I wasn't able to find a way to sleep on my tummy last night. I am a back and side sleeper but was having a hard time getting comfy. I wasn't able to make it happen :| My cramps are fluctuating, my moods are too! I'm getting excited that now we have less than one week till the u/s.

We should share Thanksgiving traditions!

Gina- Hospice is a wonderful service. I have worked with them many times and find them to be so great.

CRASHING!!!

Sorry ladies about not coming by to visit you in the past several weeks. It has been very hectic. Between multiple birthdays, my in-laws visiting, my laptop crashing, & losing power for a week, the last several weeks have been crazy! I have been reading on my phone though. So much has happened here!

Leora- I can't believe your FET is almost here!!! This is going to be your time...your BFP & your beautiful, healthy baby in your arms at home.

Ninde- I'm so sorry you're not feeling great. I hope the acupuncture helps a little. What are your future plans with another cycle?

JenMink55- Hey! How are you? Good to see you on here & great to see that you're PUPO! Can't wait to see your POAS results.

Amanda1979- Wow, you're PUPO & you're getting a BFP on an HPT!!?? How exciting! I can't wait for your BETA on Monday!

blueeyedreamer- Yay, you're preggo...so happy for you! So sorry about your friend.

HopeThisWorsM- I remember you...congrats!

kerpupples- I remember you, too! Great fert report! I know you have to wait until next month, but you will be PUPO soon! Like you said, having a month will be nice b/c you'll get to have a little wine & coffee.

WeHaveHope- I think of you often. You're such a strong woman.

akdelp- How are you doing? I still can't believe what happened. I'm so sorry.

Felicia- I don't remember if I ever congratulated you...congrats! I know you're waiting to officially join the PAT board. I hope everything's going good.

Sunshine1576- Woohoo, you're PUPO, too!!! I can't wait for your BETA! How are you feeling? Are you going to POAS?

Lauren319- How are you doing? Are you still stimming?

anton/fruit/Lydia- How are things?

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I am still amazed how quickly this board moves!! It is hard to keep up! I need to get on these boards more often:)

I have been stimming for 11 days now... I hope I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I go for my 8th SnS in a row tomorrow. So far there are 12 measurable follicles...hopefully some more will catch up! I am hoping I will trigger tomorrow. I am starting to get that really bloated, uncomfortable feeling. If anyone is up to it, a trigger dance would be greatly appreciated:)
