Sorry for my lack of keeping in touch....but all is well with baby she is getting bigger but is still a little nugget an will probably not be as big as her big sis was at birth (7lbs 12oz- 21 inches).

We have been so busy with life and school, sick kiddo, tumble tots, play dates, work and sometimes a little time just for me & the hubby!

We got all our furniture & bedding for the new baby and now we just have to build a new room....cracking the whip on husband for that one! Poor Guy!

Moorebaby/Ester - Can't remember if I said hello & welcome yet...but SO HAPPY TO HAVE YOU HERE....your bump pictures are awesome! So cute.....can't wait to hear what you are having!

Wishing! Congrats! One boy & One girl...AWESOME! I am green with envy.......

Deft - Pretty cool on feeling G-Man hiccuping...that must be a pretty cool feeling!

Blue - I was sorry to hear the sacs were empty....I don't get why that happens & I don't get why whatever higher being is out there lets this happen. I am so so sorry and I as I know all these ladies grieve with you...

QOTW: Well since we know baby G will get none of our biological traits we hope she will get some of our other traits...Em is defiant & stubborn just like DH and I get such a giggle when she does it because it reminds me of him so much. She is sensitive like me and wants to be snuggled & cuddled just like I do and she is a sponge on so many levels she knows her alphabet, days of the week, months etc....and I hope she gets that from me with all the hours I spend with her going over them in fun different ways each day...So I hope that baby G gets all those traits and a few from her big sister (they will be half biologically related) like her infectious giggle and her carmel eyes that you could just melt into and stay for a while. Her thoughtfulness and her smile that lights up anywhere she is.

Thank you. I don't know why this happens either. It totally sucks. We had two sacs, both empty and measuring small. The dr gave me options for the mc. I can have a d&c, take meds to stimulate it, or go naturally. I am to stop my meds and let them know what I want to do.

Who will you allow in the room with you when you deliver?

Hey ladies! Finally checking in. Our sreening came back positive for an elevated risk of Down's syndrome (1:120 chance). We had our appointment last week with the genetic counselor and perinatologist, and both said they think it is not actually positive. After the level 2 ultrasound, they were certain all was well. There was not one single marker on the ultrasound, and it's a girl! So Samantha will have a little sister. I still cannot believe how big my belly bump is already the second time around!

Alissa - so glad all is okay for you and your little one!

Blue - I am so so very sorry.

QOTW- It will just be my hubby because I am having a c-section. I think I would have it that way anyway, then afterwards everyone is welcome!

Hey dogs! Congrats on the girl! I too had a screen positive for down's (1:110)... My u/s came back with no markers, as well as my first trimester blood and nt were negative too... I did a lot of research and lots of studies suggest ivf pregnancies have a higher false positive rate, especially in the second trimester... Many states actually alter their markers because of the false positive rate... California does not take ivf into consideration... Did u have spotting early on as well? That can influence the test as well. I could go on and on. PM me if you want some links to the various IVF studies... Sounds like your doctors are on the right track! Were they confident because of your u/s or because of ivf?

Arm: just me and dh in the room... I hope I don't go into labor in the middle of the night! We have DD this time around, so childcare may be a liitle tricky this time around since our family leaves hours away... And because DD was 4 weeks early, we had 4 doctors and 8 nurses in room, so Dh, me, nurse, and one doctor sounds perfect!

Quick question for you ladies...
When did you 1st start feeling movements & how would you describe the feeling?

I start week 15 on Thursday. I know it may be early & there are 2 in there, but I'm just curious. Also, I don't know exactly what I'm supposed to be feeling.

With DD, I wasn't completely sure I felt her until 20 weeks. I was perpetually thinking, "Was that her? Was that gas? Indigestion? My tummy rumbling?" Then I felt her kick. This time around with DS, I felt him earlier . . . Maybe 16 weeks, 17 weeks? It kinda feels like a fluttering feeling . . . like you are going over a hill in your car and your tummy "drops" or "flips" a little . . . I really felt him at 16 weeks, then not for a few weeks after . . . at 20 weeks I felt him more and more and in the third trimester, I feel him all the time! I've also heard the feeling described as "bubbly" or"squirmy" . . . SO exciting!

Hi Ladies - Once again I've been MIA but it has been a roller coaster. I am getting ready to head back to the OR for 2nd cerclage as the cervix has since shortened and gotten significantly softer. This will be a reinforcement stitch (even though the first stitch is holding) since the uterus is only getting heavier. The babies are all looking great and growing and we found out they are all boys. Y energy will definitely be prevalent in our home .

I'll have to do personals later but I am happy that you are ok and back home Bliss, and also happy for you as well wishing on your progress. Happy to see that everyone is doing well and keep up incubating these LOs.

I felt Kailey at 18 weeks. At first I thought it was just a gas. But because Im curious and thrilled about it I googled it and confirmed that it was a baby kick. But u're the only one who can feel him/her. But on the 20th weeks ur hubby might feel them too just like mine......

Hi everyone, sorry it has taken me so long to get back on here but things have been crazy! Wow there are so many ladies on here, how awesome is that!!! So happy for us all. I will be 6mos next week, so excited to reach my 3rd trimester ! All of our testing has come back perfect (thank God!) and we are having a little boy. That will be a fun new journey since we have two girls now. How is everyone doing? Any names picked yet? I think we are going with Dylan, going to be starting his nursery this month. Think we are going to do a jungle/sports theme. Anybody else starting their nurseries yet? What are ya'lls theme gonna be? Any pics? I loved to see them, the baby rooms are so fun. Everything is so tiny and cute. Be back soon!

DD and DS will be sharing a room eventually, so we have a gender neutral room . . . orange paint with an alphabet theme . . . we plan to move in a few years, so it'll be fine for now =)
