Ashley- thanks for sharing your amazing story. You should write it down for Athena to have someday. See will appreciate it!

AFM- need to update my signature. Today is my 39th birthday. We married young, I was still 22 in September of 1995. I had just graduated with my BS in pharmacy and had taken the boards. I started grad school that fall and finished in 1998. The next 10 years we spent running all over the globe and seeing what adventures we could do. We've been to over 60 counties... I've honestly lost count. I've hiked the inca trail to Macchu Pichu, braved kung Tut's cursed tomb, climbed mt kilimanjaro and tracked the Big 5 game in africa, dove with humpback whales and great white sharks, got stuck in a sandstorm in the Sahara, surfed Surfers Paradise Australia, bungee jumped, glacier hiked, white water rafted AND black water rafted in New Zealand, and countless other adventures. I never saw infertility coming. We first ttc in late 2007. But didn't seek help til July 2009. 2 years later, my miracle arrived. As I reflect on my life over these past 39 years, I have no regrets. It's been amazing and everything I've done and seen gives me appreciation for this world. My greatest adventure by far is motherhood. I can't wait to show her the world.

Mamaboo- Congratulations on Denver's arrival. :)

Barbara-Congratulatons on your pregnancy. That is wonderful news.

Lou-Happy Birthday!!

Ashley-What an amzing birth story. So glad you had such an amazing team!

Love all the pictures of the babies. They are all soo cute!!

13 more days for me. Praying hard that I make it. Lucas is super active still which is a good sign. Drinking all this water, I don't sleep longer than 2 hours at night. I'm pretty exhausted. But my body will definitely be prepared for the sleepless nights;) Tomorrow afternoon I have my ob appointment and high risk appointment. I have a gut feeling my fluid will go up again. :)

Afm- question for anyone who breastfed babies who were in the NICU. Did you ever have any issues with production? I don't feel like I'm making enough for both babies to be satisfied each feeding. I was pumping while they were in nicu, but now that they are home we were trying to switch over to just breastmilk. Anyone else have similar issues? I've been using the nipple shields with them because they latch on so much better, but think it could be decreasing my production due to lack of stimulation. Any advice?

Lou - Happy Birthday! It's nice that you got to experience so many cultures and places to visit. But you're right, nothing's as wonderful as motherhood.

Ashley - Great birth story! I've heard horror stories about castor oil so while I'm sorry it caused you so much vomiting, I'm glad it didn't affect Athena with meconium issues.

Kat - Not long now until you meet Lucas!

Over Thanksgiving weekend, we had my SIL take our picture for our holiday cards. So here's a pic of me & DH, Maribel, and our beagle Highspeed. (if half of my husband and dog are missing in the pic, I apologize. This site's acting weird lately when I post pics. They look huge and cut-off but then when I go back later in the day they look ok. Weird!!)

klinger: I love your family Thanksgiving picture :D Your cute little girl. And the beagle. I had a beagle before, unfortunately he was too little like less than a month when I had him and it was winter so I could not take him outside and train him to pee outside in the yard and I was working full time during the day it was very hard to take care of him so I had to give him away it was so heartbreaking... If I were to still have him, he should be as big as the one you have...

Lou, Hey girl. OMG you've been to so many places. I'm jealous :D That's great that you have traveled so many places before you had little Chloe so you can put all your time into her....By the way, I'm thinking to name my little girl Chloe too. Hope you don't mind. :P Originally DH picked "Grace" because of the movie "Horse whisper" we watched together and he likes the personality of the little girl Grace in the movie. But I think Chloe is better. :D

Ashley, thank you so much for sharing your birth story. It was so beautiful and touchy. It's amazing that you remembered all the details a month later. I hope for vaginal delivery as well. :D

Kat and Alisa, I am thinking about both of you. Fingers and toes crossed for both of you to keep those babies inside of you as long as possible.

My co-workers threw me a surprising baby shower a couple of weeks ago. It's just too sweet of them. I got a LOT of baby's stuff, clothing, swing, bouncer chair, diaper bag, blanket, toy, books, you name it. And they invited DH as well! We both got every emotional that night... Starting from a couple of weeks ago I noticed that I got a lot of vivid dreams throughout the night and I had to get up to pee some night as many as 5 times! I feel so sleepy and tired during the day. Also the carpel tunnel is killing me my wrists hurt so bad and fingers are swollen. My feet and ankles are fine. Strange. I hope I can hang onto 37 weeks.

Ashley - What an experience! Wow! You are such a trooper to have a natural birth. Great job, mama!

Lou - Happy, happy birthday!!! I teared up reading about your journey. It's just amazing how much happiness such tiny people can bring into our lives!

Amanda - What a beautiful family!!! I love how Maribel looks so carefree with her little arm out. "TA DA! It's ME!" hehehe Soooo cute! Oh, and have I mentioned how much I LOVE her pic next to her ticker??? What a BABE!

Ryann - Thanks for the pics of how that Bundle Me works, much clearer in my head now.

Blair - Thank you for your input on the covers too. The Cozy Cover is what I was leaning towards and now that I know it WILL fit our humongous car seats, we'll probably be getting those. Can I ask what kind of climate you live in? We're in Illinois, so it gets friggin' COLD here.

Stephanie- we live in Kentucky, which actually hasn't gotten terribly cold yet this season. We did bring the girls home from the hospital while using them since they were still learning how to regulate their body temps at that point. Even though it takes some effort to stretch them out and get them on the car seats, I'm satisfied with them. Ill try to post a pic a little later today.

Hey ladies...I am going home today! Bleeding has stopped and I've had no more contractions. Haven't talked to the Doc yet and I am unsure of final restrictions. I'm just excited to be going home. Don't get me wrong, I want to be in the best place for Evelyn, but I'm feeling pretty good about being able to hold onto her a bit longer from the comfort of my own home. Yay!
