Leora - bring on that heartbeat, girl!!!! I am rooting for you!!! I am loving those HPTs getting darker! the spotting is a bit scary - but you've had bleeding before - it doesnt mean anything as you know.

I've been reading but havent gotten a lot of chances to post it. we had friends visit over Tgiving with 2 kids and it was a full house. i had to sneak my lupron from the kitchen into the bathroom to give myself a shot in the evening.

WE - could you please update my status when you get a chance. i am on lupron and should be starting my injectables Dec 3. ER should be Dec 16/17.

Woo-hoo - IVF #6 - here I come!!!!!

This is neither here nor there - but did anyone google long term impact of hormone exposure during IVF treatments - i hope there is nothing bad - like increased risk of cancer or anything. i am afraid to google myself - only tell me if you find good stuff, not bad stuff.

Some have asked if we will be doing another cycle. Yes, we will. I started Lupron Injctions on Monday and will be doing our next Frozen Embryo Transfer on 12-30-11.

HI ladies. I hope that you all are having a great start to the week. I am thinking of you all even though I am not on here posting as much as I would like. I have been keeping busy and DH's work schedule has been crazy. I left the house at 8a today and just got home. 12 hours later.... I am glad that I am trying to stay busy because I seem to spend to much time on the sites looking up beta scores and what not. I think that it has become a bad thing for me. I am anxiously looking forward to friday and praying that I see a heartbeat.

Leora- I am so glad for you! praying you see a heart beat and that you have a wonderful pregnancy. I poas today. Dh found my sticks. hehe.. He said that I am an addict and need help. He asked how many I used so far. Um... only two.. hehe... I love seeing the dark line!

Maria- Can you update me to BFP. My beta on 11/14- 46, 11/16-89, 11/18- 231 u/s on DEc 2nd. I am still thinking of you and your DH. I know that things are rough but your support will help him a lot. thinking of you.

Lyd- Praying that this cycle is your perfect one and things go great and you get your bfp! Thinking of you!

kala- I am so sorry for the drama. I know what that is like hehe... I hope that your fet is cheap.... i know if was way cheaper then what we paid for our first ivf. I hope that things work out for you. Thinking of you!

Hey ladies,... glad to see that some are coming along well! I started shots of follistem and menipour on nov 26th have my first check up tomorrow,.. starting to get a little nervous! It seems like the longer we go with problems the more and more people we know that become preggo!!! I need a personal therapist somedays i swear!! Wishing all the very best of luck!!

Oh crap!! I am behind again ... so sorry, I do try to keep up.

Lyd10 - Less than a month until your next cycle!! I pray this gives you your little miracle. Like you, I have also wondered what the impact is of long term IVF, but I am too afraid to look the info up myself.

Maria - How are you holding up hun? I pray the Lupron doesn't make you too crazy!!

Bodie - I haven't really found anything to help with the nausea, I just suffer through. I have pretty bad vomiting with my nausea so I have missed a bit of work from it. My doc did give me a prescription for a medication called Zofran, it helps but never completely gets rid of the nausea. It also makes me super constipated. I started having headaches as well, but I have realized that is a cue that my blood sugar is low so if I eat something, the headaches go away. Like you, I just keep telling myself this will all be worth it. I got the SeaBands so we will see if that helps. Where did you get the preggie pops? How long do you wear the SeaBands? My OB counts end of 12th week as end of first trimester.

Ninde - You are truly strong chica!! I can only imagine how frustrating it is to have to pursue IVF as well as support DH. Is he possibly depressed? Does he take any anitdepressents? I am no expert, but I just wonder if there is some unederlying depression that needs to be addressed.

Tess - I feel like crap ... but it is so worth it!

I know how miserable the beta game is. Thursday will be here before you know it. Just try to stay busy to keep your mind off things. I know it is not easy but it does help time pass.

Margi - Thanks for your support!! When did you finally stop bleeding? It is encouraging to see your little bundles survived the hematoma drama.

Leora -

OMG!! Those are freaking awesome numbers hun. I am so excited for you. I have such faith in this FET. Your rainbow baby is coming home in August. I am glad your family is being supportive. Try not to worry about the bleeding. Like someone else mentioned, if you are still using vaginal meds they can be very irritating. I cannot wait for your u/s.

Nicole - I am so sorry that your MIL had a stroke, but I am even more sorry that you are having to fake being pregnant. That is so unreal. I can only imagine how hard this is for you, it really just drags out your recovery. I can understand them not wanting to upset her, but what about you? You are so right, it is not fair. I pray that you are able to begin your healing soon.

Sushine1576 - Can't wait to see pics of your christmas tree. I helped my aunt put her up the day after Thanksgiving. I just love decorating for Christmas. Since DH is not here I am not in much of a mood to decorate our place. I will probably just put some stuff up on the door and the porch and let that be enough.

Gina - I am so jealous!! My DH works overseas so sex is a non issue for me right now. When he is here we are like rabbits, but when he is not it is very hard.

Neffi - I am so sorry that your lining is not behaving!! When is your next u/s? What meds are you on? I have some left over that I can give you if needed. Sweetie try to hang in there.

JenMink55 - Girl I am so excited for you!! So what is your due date? Another summer baby is such great news. I cannot wait for your u/s on Friday, maybe there will be 2!?

AFM - Ladies you guys rock!!! This board has been blessed with such great news and I know that there will be more before the year is out. It will be awesome to experience motherhood with all of you wonderful ladies.

My OB appointment went well on Monday. Unfortunately he did not do another U/S but I did get to hear the heartbeat with a hand held doppler. I am thinking about buying one of those for myself here at home - it would be one more thing for me to obsess about. But you can get a decent one for under $50 so we will see. My next appointment is December 19th and I was promised an ultrasound then. It is so hard for me to transition from an RE who did constant monitoring to an OB where they do almost no monitoring. My friend who is having a baby next month said that she only got one u/s a trimester unless something was wrong. I cannot imagine!!! Oh well.

I know exactly what you mean about drama in the family. Our excuse for not coming home when everyone else is there is that we live so far from them. Dh brings home his skype camera and we chat for 30 minutes online with everyone. So much easier then all the driving and feeling like we have nothing to offer them while our nephew and nieces run around their Grandmothers house acting up and nobody (the parents) do anything about their misbehavior, drives me and dh insane. Dh and I often talk about when we were their age, we were sent outside to play all day AND loved it! Anyway dh's oldest brother isn't too happy that we made this decision (to not come home when they are all there), but it's easier for us to visit during midweek and leave the kiddos presents under his mother's tree.

You sound so busy, when will dh be back home? I cannot wait to hear about your upcoming u/s on 12/19! I would be the same way in purchasing a doppler $50 bucks is so worth giving you peace of mind. I will post pictures of my tree soon.

I wish I had some advice to get the lining thicker, you know it's all I've talked about in the previous cycles. I do wonder how Viagra works to thicken the lining though, that sounds so crazy and to hear men taking Clomid really blows my mind.
Who knows what will work, but I have seen some taking Robittusin to thicken the cervical mucus and that is from old school and actually works for anyone who is trying naturally...

Good Luck tomorrow with the SnS. ("stick" and "stir") appointment. I can relate to what you mean about personal therapist and that's what makes this board so great we hear you and you can vent whenever you feel like it. I get on tangents sometimes and talk about everything under the sun, even about stuff that is non-ivf related but it's self-therapy.

I couldn't think of a better new year resolution then being PUPO, with the transfer happening on New Year's Eve!

AFM: My off day was so nice, cooked baked chicken legs with a green bean casserole (my comfort food) and snuggled all evening in bed with dh as we watched "How I Met Your Mother" episodes.

Anyway- We have lots of great news! JenMink- Woohoo on the heartbeat! So exciting! And Leora- Keep the good news coming!

Maria: I have an appt on 12/8 to find out when we will have our FET. I think dh wants to go into it as soon as we can. I'm fine with that too.

I'm sorry that I don't have much else for personals. There has been a lot happening here!

Ninde MS SUCKS! I hate having it and I hate that others have to have it too. Stress is such a huge factor in my symptoms. Like right now, my symptoms are flaring like mad. My right leg is all wonky, my depression is thru the roof, nausea, headaches, weird vision, etc. I have a great book called MS and Your Feelings that is written by a social worker here in Seattle who also has MS. I think dealing with the emotional side is critical to enjoying life. I went to some really great events and retreats that focused on this. There are two very important ideas that I walked away with.
1. I will never be the same person I was before MS. I can't compete with that person. I must learn to compete with my current self and expand on my current abilities. I learned this from a local woman who is a former World Champion cyclist. She got hit with MS right before the Olympic trials. She realized she will not be an Olympic cyclist, but she will continue to be a cyclist to the best of her ability.
2. I must become friends with my MS. We had an exercise where we had to sit and close our eyes then picture our illness sitting next to us. Then we had to talk to it (silently in our heads). It was really helpful to do this. I learned to stop fighting it and instead work with it. That made a huge difference for me. That along with Zoloft and Xanax

AFM- The future FET is up in the air depending on what my dr says. My fraudulent pregnancy is killing me. I can't deal with that much longer. It's tortuous. My MIL needs stability for a few more days and then the truth is going to have to come out. She rubbed my f*ing belly! I almost burst into tears.

Now I'm getting annoyed with my DH and BIL and all their playing doctor with MIL. Now it's all about what not to do, etc. Like hell I'm going vegan. No way. No offense to vegans, it's just not for me. There are plenty of ways to be healthy or healthier.

Anyway, off for now.

AFM - acupuncture was so relaxing today. My practioner gave me a positive affirmation to repeat 60 times a day - 'My body is absolutely perfect for my baby's development and growth'. I also got some strange little sticky dots put in my ears. I was so relaxed after acupuncture, I didn't ask what they were for.

Tomorrow's 2nd beta day.I'm still pooping myself but what will be will be. There is not much I can do - except POAS first thing tomorrow morning!! i've warned the people in the know at work that I might disappear if I get bad news.

Margi - I don't keep the sticks, but I keep photos! -- btw, I'll definitely be on pelvic rest and probably bed rest for most of my pregnancy.... that's going to suck! (but is totally worth it!) hey! I even found a blinkie for bed rest !


Gina - at one point, the First Response website had an offer for a free "keepsake" box for a pregnancy test. I guess we aren't the only ones who LOVE our BFP tests!

Julia - well - good luck! Do the doctors think you have a chance to conceive spontaneously with a tubal ligation and a vasectomy?

Laura - WOOHOOO! You are an egg making machine! I'm young and respond fantastically to the meds - and we usually get around 15 eggs - so 13 is a really good number! I hope the fert report is great too!

Indigo - I've never wanted twins - and gotten twins twice (which even with IVF is uncommon). I totally understand being conservative and transferring 1 to avoid twinning. A lot of people think twinning is great (two for the price of one!), but trust me, twin pregnancies are no picnic. Good luck!

Christy - I'm not sure how OPKs work (never done that), but I hope two lines is a good thing and that you guys are going to "catch" that egg. I don't think MORE sex is necessarily the deciding factor (remember, guys can't produce swimmers that quickly) so I hope you had a good night "hibernating"!

People really don't understand this process at all - and even though this woman was lucky enough to have a baby girl on her first try, she does a really good job of explaining her thoughts throughout the process.

Lydia - I'm so excited for you to start stims next week! yay! I totally hear ya on sneaking the drugs while company is over. I had to take my trigger once in the middle of hosting a dinner party! I felt like a drug addict slipping into my bedroom with my needles and my drugs

Maria - I really hope this cycle brings you a rainbow baby. Has the testing for RPL come back yet?

Blessed - good luck on Friday! I'm also dealing with lower than average betas.... it sucks so much!

Felicia - I'm sorry you are so sick. I suffer from Hyperemesis Gravidarum while pregnant - I can't even keep down some sips of water some days. It's awful. The Zofran doesn't help nausea at all - but it does prevent the vomiting. Since my problem is dehydrating and losing serious amounts of weight (lost 30lbs in 10 weeks with my first pregnancy!), the Zofran helps - I can eat and not throw up, but my appetite is zilch and I still feel horrible. ---- I hate being a high risk pregnancy - but I'm going to love the close monitoring - with the boys, I had an u/s every other week. Low risk pregnancies usually have very few u/s - which is such a change from the RE!

Nicole - yeah - this website isn't the best. I always copy all the text before I press 'submit'. And I totally agree NOT to go vegan! I could never give up my meat, and definitely not my eggs/dairy! I'm so sorry things with the in-laws are so stressed and you have to continue this 'fake pregnancy' charade. That must suck.

AFM -

I'm SICK. I feel achy and headachy and sneezy and coughy. Ick. And of course, being pregnant, the only drug I can take is Tylenol -which is bringing my fever down, but not making me feel any better.

I dragged my butt out of bed this morning to get a blood draw... waiting for the results....

Leora-they haven't said anything about spontaneous pregnancy, I have to admit tho I've often wished that could happen, lol. A will be ivf 'ing again in February. I'm trying to find a place for acupuncture and preparing for an auction this Friday for a house we are trying to buy.
