I am so sorry that you have gone through all of this crap yet again. I'm glad that you will be able to start again soon though. So, when is your next beta? Hopefully it will drop quickly for you. Leora-Im so sorry! You are incredibly couragous and will be such a wonderful mama! Hang in there and keep on trying. Just wondering what meds were you on to prevent m/c? I admire your optimism although i understand your borken heart.

Bonnie-congrats on your nice fert report! i look forward to hearing about your ET. Someone said they hope for Sunday, but 3 day is fine too. I had DD on 3dt.

Sunshine- I would like to join Bodie on your bday board as we are both firecraker babies--July 4th! DD was due on 7/1 and was hoping for a birthday presnt on the 4th, but she was 3 days early.

Kerpupples-Im so glad you got you timeline and you have some good frosties ready to find their home for 9 months. Im coming to D town tomorrow for SNS and to find a stroller for our trip. I hope it is nice...I'm freezing up here!!!

AFM-still working full time, running my husbands company and taking care of DD all on my own. I'm exhausted and am forgetting everything. I have forgotten to take bcp, missed my lupron shot by two hours, and started my 1st estrace pill one week early. My heart goes out to all the single moms out there. It is not easy and my house is a mess and I am a wreck. I had meetings everyday this week and had to bring DD to two of them. I have been spotting for the past 2 weeks, Serbia RE wanted me to double up on BCP, but U.S. RE said it was okay. Im off BCP and still spotting. I go for SNS tomorrow. I hope I didnt mess anything up. It was -30 degrees a few nights ago. My besties are on a cruise right now...im so jealous...but I have to do whatever it takes to make a another baby!!! Im still reading and praying for y'all everynight!

Clinic called me a cpl of hours ago and wants me to schedule a hsg, is that a hydrosonogram? To see the shape of my uterus? She said to call on the first day of full flow. For some reason my phone didn't ring and they left a voicemail so I called back and got her voicemail. Yay. Phone tag. Anyway, I haven't heard from them in weeks so I was surprised to hear from them.

It's funny, because I don't really drink much, mainly a couple of time per year, but last time during the 2 ww and this time, geez, I just want a glass of wine! Hey Julia - I thought an HSG was a hsyterosalpingogram to check your tubes, but I certainly hope they don't want to do that if you've had a tubal! The other thing I've had was called a sonohistogram - they did an u/s with saline injected into my uterine cavity, so makes sense that it would also be called a hydrosonogram. I had this done waaaaay back before my very first IVF cycle in 2007 and they actually found some scar tissue and polyps that they removed prior to the cycle.

Hi everyone....sorry I know I haven't been around much. It has been a crazy couple of weeks. Yesterday I spent the day in NYC and it was awesome! We went to Macy's and saw Sister Act on Broadway. It rained most of the day, but we still had an awesome time.

Transfer is tomorrow at 2pm. I hope that they make it through the thaw. We will be transferring 2 donor embryos. There are 3 of them so if one doesn't make it they will thaw the third one. I will be on bedrest for 24 hours then just take it easy for a little while but I am going back to work Monday.

We do have two adoption plans in the works, but neither look promising. This adoption road is just as bad as IVF, just in a different way. Basically I have no control of either and am ready to pull my hair out! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

My birthday is Feb 11, by the way. Sorry for the late entry on this.

About adoption, ever so often I bring it up to dh but he keeps saying we're not ready for adoption just yet, and then I'm reminding him that it could take up to 7 yrs why should we delay the wait any longer then we have too? Last night's conversation ended where I felt it's going to be just the "two of us" for the rest of our lifes. He said he could accept that if that's the way our cards are dealt, maybe I'm looking for an easy way but I'm already realizing there is no easy way...But what is it going to take to get my dh on the same page with me???? (sorry I'm venting). Tonight my coworker called me at home to tell me she asked the hormone therapist (she works at the hospital with) WHY she didn't want to take me in as a patient. Her response was she's not a fertility specialist. My coworker said but couldn't the thyroid levels for dh effect the sperm count. She saw her point and she would be willing to try to help us...So I'm calling tomorrow morning to set up an appt to consult with a hormone therapist in January. But hear is the kicker, my coworker asked if I had a "falling out" with my last RE. Apparently someone who works with this hormone therapist knows my previous RE but that is personal and I asked my coworker to find out who said that. All she could tell me is she's brown-headed and used to work with my previous RE, but honestly this makes me so mad, because I left my first RE for personal reasons, yes honestly we needed a second opinion before spending $14,000 more on procedures that weren't getting us anywhere. If I could give any newbies any advice before trying IVF, I would tell them never let any doctor recommend IVF at least until all the fertility testing is done and this includes bloodwork monitoring to check thyroid and I tell them run the laproscopic test to maybe help give them a diagnosis, in our case its unexplained but there are some things I wish I had known and researched before jumping into IVF. I'm not going to dwell on those things, but I am going to say always research your clinic to see if they offer financial programs such as the IVF ATTAIN REFUND PROGRAM...Some say it's important to find out what the success rates are... but to me more importantly you deserve to be treated with the upmost repect and have a clinic that is compassionate in wanting to offer you the best advocate patient care, helping you every step of the way in meeting your long term goal.

hey just called my and said we are waiting till day 5 so sunday is the day at 9:45,.... 6 for the 8 embryos look promising so im very glad for that!! hope that everyone has a wonderful friday!!
