Hi Teresa

Yes my levels will be down a lot by friday but it would mean having to to my HCG jab tonight if EC is on Friday and as my levels are still a bit high today they don't want to risk it. It's so frustrating. I want EC on Saturday but getting a theatre at short notice isn't easy apparently. I will push for it though. I buggered if I am waiting till Monday :x

Dagny,

40?!! I can't even fathom that! Anyway, here's hoping your levels start plummeting. To think I was worried about OHSS because my estrogen was up near 3,000. :?

Debra,

I'm so sorry this cycle didn't work for you. You are being remarkably strong about things. How is DH doing?

Hello...just snuck back on.....

Thanks for all your kind words. I passed through the upset phase v. quickly. The AF feelings were so incredibly strong on Monday I'd not been surprised when it began a day later. I feel extremely angry but know that it will pass and resignation will hit soon. I want to get fit before our next, and final try. I did nothing between the early m/c in March and this last try. I've felt overweight and blobby ever since. I'd like a good month or so at the gym now. We've 2 frosties and ideally, am hoping for a FET in September. That way we can also start to plan our wedding sooner vs. later.

Re. how is DF....he's the quiet sort but told me how much he'd thought this time we'd got it right. I feel this is all my fault. It was my choice to have my tubes tied so it's all my fault we must have tmt to have a baby. He does the best he can and his side of the deal is faultless.

I'll ask at the clinic tomorrow about how soon we can try a medicated FET.

hugs to everyone,
Debra.

Hey Debra,
So sorry to hear the outcome of this cycle..is crap, no other way to describe it.
The FET cycle sounds like a great idea, FET is so much kinder on your body than the whole IVF lark. Be kind to yourself though, this is a tough time, for both of you..
Take care my buddy, looking to hear when you can start your next frosty cycle.

Deb

Was overjoyed to see you back and then............ I am at a loss for words really - I was so convinced this was your time and then to be wrong - not like me to be wrong -- sorry I am so sorry. I won't pretend it's ok because its shit and I know you know your body. Just trying to get my head around it all really as I am sure you are.

Loopy - glad to see you have not succumbed to a test - don't think of the negative results we have had so far ok - hang in there.
Same goes for you Dee Dee - forget the boobs - it is nothing and concentrate on seeing a positive. Again it is sould destroying for Deb - she deserves a ++++++++ but then you all do so the best thing you can do for her is be strong and go and get them!

Teresa - names - well not too bad - I wrote out a list and gave to DH and then he picked from those - we tend not to argue at all really and at the end of the day I am so delighted to be pg I am willing to compromise on names - just wanted Emily as a first name and was flexible on the rest which are probably Emily Charlotte and Alice Isobelle (or a diff spelling of)
scan fine by the way - both ok so hanging in there but don't want to shove this down peoples throats when you are all in the 2ww!

Dagny - posted for you elsewhere - your ohss thread I think but you are doing very well and if this carries on my reckoning is saturday for ec but let's see what mr consultant says. I here if you need me.....
Love to all
Tracey

Hi buds

Debra - How are you feeling today?? Please don't beat yourself up about having your tubes tied. You did what you thought you wanted at the time and it was right for you back then. You didn't know that this would happen futher on down the line. When do you get married?? Keep smiling sweetie!

Loopy - This cycle isn't going to fail so stop talking like that OK!! How are you today. Good luck with your blood test today. Hope OHSS is not on the agenda.

Teresa - One week to go!!! :D PMA, PMA, PMA!

DeeDee - Are you testing today??? If so BIG GOOD LUCK vibes to you!!!!!!!!! You can do it girl!

My EC is deffo on for tomorrow so I can empty those 40 follies at last! I have to be at hospital at 7am  in the morning but at least I have a day off today with no bloods and that bloody awful drive and jostling for parking at the hospital. Yeeehaaaaa :P

FET's are great and any advice just ask - even if you don't you will get it anyway! MAssive hug ok and thanks for posting the other side - I know how hard it is to wander over there.

I want so see positive thinking from you all or there will be the most awful scene!

LOOPY! No more knicker checking  stop it now!! Thanks for your kindness, in fact to everyone. I do still feel like it's my fault (although I'm a little scared of saying this in case Tracey comes over and thumps me), but I do. Loops - lots of talking to those jelly-baby embies!

I've now been thinking about September and how to get ready. I need to eat properly of course...not easy when I can't be bothered. Luckily, I'll be in Suffolk for 10 days soon and despite my being very old, my parents will swing into action and treat me like a princess - hooray! My s-father is a fantastic cook and always makes HUGE efforts which is esp. good as he's on Atkins and I'm strict veggie - not an easy combo

Dagny - hope you're feeling those positive vibes already. Tomorrow will go well and then you're back in control. We'll be with you every step of the way over the next 9m.

DeeDee - how are you doing? just a couple of days to go. Feeling OK?

Teresa - don't forget to think about those little embies settling in and making themselves at home!

Hugs to everyone and here's to a great weekend,
love
Debra.

Loopy,
I must say that the AF pains are still here, but it is on and off ??? I am thinking that it will be here anytime :0( Just like all those months of trying and getting these cramps and then PAAFFFF AF shows her ugly face... I am really trying to stay positive and at least think postive, (TRACEY,DAGNY, DEEDEE, & everyone else) I am listening, and I am doing my best.... 6 more days ..YYIIIPPEE !!! I must say that it did go by so far pretty quickly !! (THANK GOD) !!
I hope you think thinking POSITIVE and hopefully we'll have great news next week to announce !!!

Debra,
I really hope they have settled, I talk to them every once in a while, and tell them how much they mean to us if they or at least one would stick around and met us !!! (OMG I sound like a physco) promise I'm not !! :0)
And as for you September is just around the corner, so if your thinking of changing some eating habits... go for it, you'll feel better come September that you were able to accomplish it !! YOU CAN DO IT !!!

Dagny,
Once again I will be thinking of you tomorrow, and make you relax after the EC preparation for ET !!!!

Tracey,
Where would we be if you weren't here with us :D

Take care
-Teresa :D
