AFM - I've got a wisdom tooth infection so have been put on strong antibiotics. I am told they are fine to take but am worried they are going to affect the outcome when I POAS next week

Sunshine - seems extremely unprofessional for them to be talking about you like that. My husband and I have had several of those adoption conversations. I have been ok with that option all along but initially my DH was totally against it. The farther we got in fertility treatments and did not have success, the more my DH has been willing to consider it. Our doctor also counseled us to have our backup family plan in place - so that we were both ok with what the plan would be for how we were going to have a family if the current fertility treatment didn't work. He said that would help us relax and take some of the stress off the current treatment. I think he was right. After we talked about it some more at that point, my husband did agree that if a donor cycle did not work that he would be ok with goig the adoption route. At one point I think I even got him excited about the idea of adoption. I think the older we get, the more we both just want to have a family. I know I have made it very clear to my husband that not being a mother one way or another is NOT an option for me. It's a hard conversation but hopefully eventually you will both be in agreement for your plan.

Kala - wow - sounds like you have your hands full! Sometimes I have to make a calendar of what to take each day and then check it off after I've taken it. Otherwise I tend to forget if I have taken them or not. Good luck with your SNS tomorrow!

AFM - Went in for 2nd beta early this morning - now just have to wait a few more hours to get the results. I'm anxious to see where we are at. The 1st beta at 309 seemed pretty high - starting to wonder if there is more than 1 that stuck Looking forward to scheduling the ultrasound to have more answers... it is so hard to be patient even after a BFP! Trying to just enjoy it but there are still so many things to worry about!

Clinic called me a cpl of hours ago and wants me to schedule a hsg, is that a hydrosonogram? To see the shape of my uterus? She said to call on the first day of full flow. For some reason my phone didn't ring and they left a voicemail so I called back and got her voicemail. Yay. Phone tag. Anyway, I haven't heard from them in weeks so I was surprised to hear from them.

Julie- I may be late on answering this for you, but a HSG is where they use dye to see if your fallopian tubes are open with live xray(Fluro). We do them alot at work during the day. I don't work days anymore but we did them when I did. I have had 3 HSGs during over the last few years. Some say it is uncomfortable & some say they it is not. For me it was because one tube was not as open as the other. It was embarassing for me bc a radiologist comes to run the xray & I work with all of them, but I think it was more in my head than anything else. Anyways, sorry I didn't post sooner.

Hi ladies - went for my 2nd SnS and things are moving faster than last fresh cycle. they will call me later today and tell me if I trigger on sunday night for tuesday retrieval or monday night for wednesday retrieval.

i think this is good - the sooner the better in my book.

how is everyone doing? getting close to showtime for me! thank god my boss is flexible and understanding. i told him either tue or wed and he was fine either way.

LYD10 - that is great news! Get ready for trigger Flexible bosses and work is definitely a perk - I work from home so that really helps with all of the changing appointments!

So I finally have an update - just got the call and my 2nd beta is 642. I am 11dp5dt - I asked the nurse that called if with the numbers where they are if there is a good likelihood of multiples and she said they really can't tell until the US. SO the ultrasound is scheduled for 12/22!! Almost 2 weeks before another update for me - I have lots to keep me busy between now and then so I REALLY hope it goes by fast and that we have some good news to share for Christmas

Back from the transfer. Everything went well. There were three embryos from this donor. The first two that were thawed, only one made it so they thawed the third. So we did have two to transfer and thats good, but I wish that third one would have made it. SO I am officially PUPO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! beta is 12/20 but I will be POAS starting Wed and hoping a see a line by Friday. Now I am off to sleep. Personals later.

Well, I filled out a loan application. I had to email them some of the info like phone numbers because there weren't enough blocks for ours. They were really helpful with my questions too. However I know the ones that help assist, aren't the ones that make the decision or at least that's what I'm guessing. I even had to fill out a co-borrows since it wouldn't let me skip, but I let them know that no income comes from me and no credit either. I'm hoping we are approved and that we don't need a co-signer. If we do then we'll just have to save up which will probably put us in 2013. So any comforting thoughts, prayers would be great! We really need this!!

This place was recommended from the clinic we want to use for IVF. Since they are specifically for IVF and not just a bank, maybe we have a chance! Only God knows so I'm trying not to worry, it won't change a thing.

Lyd- how exciting, things are moving along quickly for you! I know that once you start, it seems to go by slowly, but then at the same time,it's all happening so quickly...until the 2 ww. I can't wait to hear how your next SnS goes. How are you doing with all of the meds, any nasty side effects? Any that you had last time but not this time, or the other way around, any new ones?

Kbillsy- wow! awesome beta. You know, it's so funny because in the real world, 2 weeks goes by so quickly, but in our IVF world, 2 weeks can feel like 200 years! I'm so excited for you and can't wait to hear about the u/s! Did you POAS? I know some ladies actually continue testing even after their betas and continue through to the day of the u/s....that may be something that I would do....but I'm all crazy

AFM- I went for my 1 week post transfer blood work. My progesterone is great, they want it to be 20 or higher and it's 25. Now my estrogen, different beast. So, my estrogen was only 95 and they want to see it at 200. Last cycle, this same time, my estrogen was 75, so I guess it's good that it's higher than last time, but that freaks me out. Anyone know of anyone that had low estrogen at the 1 week mark and then continued to not only get a BFP but also had a healthy baby(s)? Other than that, I continue to have "pregnancy" symptoms, but those could be the progesterone or just my mind and body playing tricks on me. It's funny how when you are waiting during the 2 ww, that anything that feels weird, you just swear that means you are pregnant. I am praying for you guys daily and please keep me in your thoughts and prayers....I hope I don't go completely crazy....only 1 week left.....I will POAS Tuesday morning and am praying for a BFP.

Thank you Lauren. They couldn't use our address so had to provide them with our last USA address. I thought I had in the application. This is nerve racking! I just don't know if we'll get approved based on credit, maybe they will anyway. Gonna lose $25 if they don't accept us, cause we had to pay that fee and we don't get it back.

I'm glad to hear your Progesterone is great!! I hope your estrogen goes up by the next check!!

Hi ladies,
I went in for blood work and ultrasound yesterday. I got the ok to start estrogen patches today. Next appointment will be on 12-23 for blood work and ultrasound for lining check. AF finally came yesterday. It's not too bad but since I've been bleeding since the D&C on 11-18, I'm kind of tired of all the bleeding. So hopefully the AF will not be too bad and will go away quickly. It looks like we are on track for FET on 12-30. I also picked up the Lovenox yesterday. However, I won't begin using the Lovenox until I get a positive Beta.
