Gina - a friend of mine didn't even know she was pregnant until 9 weeks - I would KILL for that! Betas have a normal range - higher betas usually mean stronger babies, but it's different in different women. (Unusually high betas, like in the 10,000s very early on, is a sign of a rare pregnancy complication called a molar pregnancy, when a pregnancy becomes cancerous -- but luckily very very very rare!)
Shari - Hopefully in the next few days, I'll trade my faint BFP for your BFN... I totally understand not having the energy for a BFN. I've been there. Hoping for a BFP for you!
Bonnie - congrats! Do you plan to POAS (pee on a stick - ie, take a home pregnancy test)? When is your blood test?
Christy - clearly, I missed something. What's going on? Sorry that AF came, but enjoy your alcohol (I know I am!). Big hugs honey, I'm so sorry life is so difficult...
Patricia - wow! Another professional singer! What type of stuff do you like to sing? I'm a Gilbert & Sullivan fanatic, and actually in a performance of HMS Pinafore that's rehearsing right now!
Julia - nope. Never heard of Noni Juice, but thanks for giving me something to Google today!
Lydia - I have a super sensitive tummy and I'm almost always nauseated. The nerves do it too. I could barely keep breakfast down this morning. I hope you feel better after ER. Good luck tomorrow! Any idea how many eggs they are hoping to get?
Neffi - just a few more days! I really hope you get your BFP.
Jen - I'm so sorry. I had a TON of bleeding with my boys and they were totally fine. Good luck today, let us know how it goes. I'll be refreshing all day, checking for an update!
Felicia - congrats! 14 weeks is a great milestone! How are you feeling? Nausea gone yet?
AFM - well --- I took a HPT today (before dragging myself to a clinic for a beta) and got a faint positive. My beta is definitely going down, but definitely not zero yet. I'm supposed to start stims on CD3, which would be tomorrow, but my beta isn't zero yet.
I'll probably got for a blood test on Wednesday. If my beta is zero, I'll call my IVF clinic and see if I can go for baseline SnS on Thursday (I can't get a straight answer out of them if Thursday will be too late to start stims if I got my period on Sunday -- but I think it should be fine as long as my baseline is good). If beta isn't zero on Wednesday, I'll start BCP and wait 2 weeks (checking the beta levels weekly).
I know it makes sense for me to wait (I have 12 performances of HMS Pinafore in late December, early January which would be affected by the fresh IVF cyle), but I don't care. I'd rather start now. I hope I don't have to wait until January...
