LYD- woohoo on the trigger!! Hope ER goes well!!!

Neffi- I am praying you get your +!! your right knowing the end of the road is coming is so hard. I know it is for us bc we are struggling so much with money, but I don't think I have it in me to give up. I may have to pimp out my DH before its over..lol jk.

NInde- I did do the HSG at another hospital, but our radiologist covers the whole northern state so I had to have one of them, but at least I didn't have to see my co-workers. I think I would have died right there..lol Is it bad I have no idea who sinead oconnor is??

Hope- I am so so so sorry. I can't even begin to imagine how you & your DH are feeling. I wish you two all the healing powers in the world.


AFM; Just wanted for AF to get here. Today is day 28 so she should be here any time(sigh) I need to have the D&C before Christmas so we can do our cycle in January. My DH is a huge gun guy! He was cleaning one of his guns the other day & the damn spring shot forward & hit our 55 in. T.V needless to say our T.V is no more. Damn we worked hard to pay it off before our 1 year was up on the interest free. However I did buy a 5 yr. warranty on it so I think we are going to say we dropped it so it will be covered . I hope it is covered!!! Oh well live & learn I guess. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Hey Everyone,
Its been a long time since i posted, but i thought i would give an update before my beta tomorrow. I'm so nervous and afraid of bad news so I'm trying to prepare myself for the worst. I swear i can hear my doctor's voice playing over and over in my head "I'm so sorry but not this time." Anyways, we had 12 eggs retrieved and then got the call on Thanksgiving that only 4 had fertilized ....we are so happy to have at least 4 but it was still kinda shocking. Then on day 3 they still looked great and there where possibly 6 that were growing so that was great ! THen on day 5 got the call that they were growing slowly and worst case scenario we would not have any to transfer. They wanted to wait until day 6, I was so upset and prepared for nothing, but then got the call we had two very early blast. The doctor said he was on the fence.....hate that he said that. We transfered both and now I go in tomorrow morning for the beta. I'm hoping for a miracle. This cycle has truly been filled with so many ups and downs I have not been myself for 2 months now. Please think of me tomorrow I need all the help I can get!!!!

POAS?? How long after transfer have some ladies started doing this? My md encourages his pt not to do so but just incase i decided too lol Ill be going in for a blood test next tuesday but thats a whole 8 days away!!! we transferred on sunday.

JUst curious if anyone else had success with a day 6 transfer? I hate all the symptoms that the progesterone and Estrace give you ughhhhh!!! My body is playing major tricks on me!!!

Jen - try not to stress too much about the bleeding. I've heard SO many stories of bleeding this early with no effect on a healthy delivery.

Hopethisworks - so sorry to hear your news. It's easy to forget we're not safe even once we hear that HB.

Ninde - Sinead hasn't really been relevant here since the early 90s. Does she still record? I recall vividly when she tore a picture of the Pope in half on SNL. Quite the scandalous one, she! Good luck to your friend, sounds like he just might need it.

Kala - Hope those appts are going well and your drives in haven't been too tough.

AFM - just getting stocked up on drugs for the FET. I *think* my insurance will cover the Vivelle patches, and I already have everything else but the Endometrin. I'll wait to order that until the start of the new year so that I can run it through my new FSA balance. I think I have enough on hand to get me through a BFP anyway. Last BCP coming up on Friday, yay!!! STILL did not manage to get our tree up over the weekend. Going to do that tonight. We did take some awfully cute Xmas photos over the weekend. As to your age, I remember when dh and i had our first meeting 6 years ago (we decided not to proceed at that point) but at that stage I was 34 and our re said that 34 was a really good age so I hope that gives you some heart x

Leorira: how are rehearsals going? Originally I was classically trained and technically im a mezzo soprano. But then i started to gig with a band and we were signed here in ireland which was very exciting I love most music and sing most things, im never going to rival aretha because i just dont have that type of voice. Im probably a bit 'celtic woman' if you were to think of a voice I sound like. So you are thinking of cycling in december?

I'm going stir crazy here and my cycle hasn't even begun! lol. If I'm this horrible waiting for a loan then it's going to be terrible when I actually get to IVF! LOL.

So Thursday I got a confirmation email that the loan application went through. It said 24 hrs we would know. On Friday (I had thought it was Saturday) the guy that looks into it (apparently the one I had been emailing questions back and forth with) emailed me needing a stateside address. Although I remember putting it on there. Anyhoo, haven't heard anything back! I've emailed with them before over the weekend so not sure why it's taking so long. I really hope we find out. Then again I might NOT want too!

AFM- tough day yesterday and today. My positive mental attitude is not doing so well. I don't know if it's a lack of sleep, just being tired during the day, combination or what, but I am having a difficult time. I will be POASing tomorrow morning and I'm scared to do it. If this doesn't work...I'm not even going to go there, but that's where my head keeps going.
