Hi Sunshine, thank you for the birthday wishes! So nice of you. I am feeling bloated but drinking Gatorade. Hopefully will feel better tomorrow. Waiting for my fertilization call tomorrow. My DH took COQ10 400mg and Fertile Max since August all the way up to now. It takes at least 10 weeks to make a difference.

Ok ladies I am in crazy town again. We did an ovulation test on Nov 20 and it said I was so we took advantage of it. Now my AF came last month on the 15th. I am now 2 days late with no AF symptoms coming. I have taken a couple of test & they have been negative. So we are in limbo again. My nurse called today and said if I don't start by Sunday to let them know & if I do of course call so we can get the D&C going. Am I crazy for thinking that maybe we got pregnant on our own?? When should I take another test? How early would it show up doing the old fashion way so to speak..lol.

Julia - just make sure your clinic knows all the supplements you are taking. "Natrual" doesn't mean it doesn't have a medicinal effect - My clinic told me to make sure to tell them everything I'm taking (including vitamins and occasional medications) because it can affect the hormones they give you.

Ilene (bodie) - so glad to hear those little girls are doing well. Any ideas on names yet?

Gina - I'm so sorry you are dealing with all this. The IVF stuff is hard enough WITHOUT the money troubles.

Antonia - no need to apologize - I think everyone understands that it's hard to be around and watch everyone else cycle while you are waiting. How is the job search going? Anything promising? ---

Lydia - congrats! 10 eggs is great. Waiting for the fertilization report sucks - but hopefully you'll know soon! I'm doing another antagonist cycle - I use Ganirelix to prevent ovulation, not Lupron. I start the Ganirelix when the lead follicle is 10 (or whatever) until the trigger. I've never ever taken Lupron. I'm PCO and don't ovulate on my own (so no need to suppress much) and they are always worried about OHSS. With the antagonist protocol, if the e2 levels get too high, I can always trigger with Lupron instead of HCG (although we couldn't transfer after that, but at least we would have embryos to freeze). So far, I've never gotten too close to OHSS, but this is a precaution. Because it's worked so well in the past, we're doing it again!

HopeThisWorksM - I'm so sorry again. D&C isn't bad - I was put under general anesthesia for mine. I hope the genetic testing will give you some answers.

HopefulMommy - I'm so sorry. BFNs suck. I usually get a period 4 days after stopping the progesterone, but everyone is different. I would say 3-10 days. Be warned - your period will suck worse than ever before. Only after starting IVF did I ever buy "super plus" tampons!

Laura - YAYAYAYAAY! Isn't that line wonderful? Can you post pictures so we can all live vicariously through you?

Bonnie - I think anything like that is normal for 2ww -- you are taking so many hormones that your body goes a little wacky. I wouldn't worry unless it has a sharp/bad smell (sign of yeast infection). Are you taking your progesterone vaginally (or injections)? If vaginally, it's super normal to have icky discharge.

Patricia - yay for snow! We get snow once every 10 years or so - so it's really exciting when it happens. I haven't seen snow for years! Enjoy your gingerbread - I love it!

Christy - ugh - this crap is so hard without any added drama. Sorry hon!

Amanda - not crazy at all. I always think I'm pregnant, even though it's near impossible for us (DH's sperm count is in the dozens instead of millions or even thousands). Maybe do a blood test to figure out what's going on? If they check your LH and progesterone, they should be able to tell if AF is coming soon.

AFM - new beta today. I'm going in a little while to have blood drawn (don't have to go to the IVF clinic - rather a more local one - I went to work first, and I'll get my blood drawn on an early lunch break).

I was going to POAS this morning, but I decided not to waste one. But now I'm going crazy waiting for results (and I haven't even had blood drawn yet!).

I called my clinic to ask when I could start the cycle if my beta isn't zero and we are past CD3 already -- she said that I should continue to bleed until my beta is zero, and that starting as soon as the beta reaches zero (no matter when that is) shouldn't be a problem. Yay!

that means a half-time since last week of 2.9 days (ie, the beta halves every 2.9 days) down from halving every 1 day.

If this rate continues, it'll take TEN days to get below 5.

I talked to the clinic - I do another blood test in a week.

At this rate, I'll start stims on Christmas --- I've never counted down to Christmas before -- but 11 days left!

Christy- Thank you SO MUCH for saying that! One thing I have a hard time with is people saying.....be glad you have your son. I AM!! That doesn't mean I should stop trying for a second. Many of them have two that say that and I sometimes want to say....how would you feel without your youngest, if you never had him/her. So frustrating!! My parents and many others say relax....I have been for 12 years. Can't stop when you want something so bad!

I'm trying through a military hospital, well it's a possibility. The cost is WAY less so we will see what they say. They do have a refund but not sure how much that is. It's probably a certain percent. Better than nothing right? Hopefully it's enough back to be able to try again. I know with some of them you get put at the bottom of the list to try again if it fails. Not sure how they will do.

I'll have to go through all the referral stuff. Making an appointment next week for some blood work just to see where I am at.

Leora- Hope your Beta goes on down! Seems odd saying that! Excited about your next cycle! Thank you...the lack of $$ is what makes this so hard. It's the only thing in our way, and it's a big thing! That's 1/2 of why I fight so hard! Something like money shouldn't stand in the way of having a family or bigger family. Frustrating!

Leora-I've been debating whether to tell them or not, they didn't recommend the DHEA, or the royal jelly...they said there want enough evidence to support them. Pfft. Whatever. I was taking more supplements than that but now i'm down to those and Noni. I'll stop taking then a week before I start my meds again. I may mention the supplements when I go in for my hsg. Now all i'm doing is waiting for af. I kept feeling like she was here but no such luck. BUT! Birthday sex is great so I didn't mind so much yesterday lol.

Anton-sorry had to continue here...the Noni is horrible tasting stuff. Like drinking bleu cheese, which I like, only not in a shot glass lol. It has all sorts of health benefits apparently, just going fertility is one of them.

Hopeful-I am sorry! I hope you can get some peace, if you're like me, my mind races with the what ifs and such when I go through sad events. There's no feeling to compare it to, especially when most people don't even get this whole process. We are here for you. Whatever I can do, just ask.

Afm- I am going for my second acupuncture this ng. I have a hard time being still, so the whole laying on the table for twenty minutes after is a struggle for me. I'm considering asking him for weight loss as well! Girls I am packing the pounds on! I don't get it! Guess I should get through Christmas and then work on that more actively. Blah! Hope everyone is doing well.

POAS addict is here......results so far...NEGATIVE. I was hoping for a positive this morning. I have gotten + at 5dp5dt before and was hoping for that line this morning...I know it's early, but a small part of my PMA dies with each test.....

Leora-- sorry to hear your beta isn't dropping as fast as you want....Christmas will be here before you know it!!!!

Amanda-- that would be awesome if you got pregnant on your own. I have a friend who has been TTC for 3 years 2 cycles IVF neg and they got a foster son 6 months ago. Last week they found out that they are pregnant....13 weeks! and that their son is adoptable! Great week for them!

Julia- ask your needle doctor about the noni stuff to make sure it won't counteract with the royal jelly and the dhea.

So I don't keep my HPT's like you guys do, I throw them away. As much as I am addicted to peeing on them, it grosses me out that there is pee on them...ha! I'm a weird one. I took one again last night and it was positive, so I haven't done one this morning yet. I'm feeling 100% that I am pregnant, but worried about what my beta # will be on Friday and then also that the #'s will double appropriately- that is where the problems were last time. BUT, I also know that it's not in my hands, it's in God's hands so worrying does not do any good. I'm trying to remember that

Neffi - sorry you are not shoing positive HPTs yet. but its way too early. you still have lots of time to show up positive!

lauraN - congrats on another BFP!

Leora - sorry the beta is dropping slowly - but even if you have to wait a week - that's an awesomely speedy turn around time. the protocol you are on is nice and fast. tehre is no month of BCPs and lupron bfore you can even start stims. you start them right away. i was on that protocol the fisrt time - but later they switched me to lupron siting that for my age group the lupron protocl brings better results. but for your age group it doesnt matter what you use - and its obviously working for you.

AFM, just working. going to step into a meeting soon. hopefully my embryologyst will call me soon with results on my fertilization. i am a bit scared to hear the results. my ovaries werehurting last night but i took some tylonol and they seem better. and i am of course drinking gatorade bu the gallons. i think i am not retaining too much water - only gained 0.5lb since yesterday.
