I just wanted to come and wish everyone luck who is about to start IVF. My husband and I went through 3 years of infertility due to my endometriosis. I had surgery which resulted in the complete loss of my left ovary. My right ovary had several endometriosis cysts so I was a tough case. We tried several infertility medications and an IUI with no luck. We finally decided to give IVF a try. Our insurance would not pay anything so everything was out of pocket for us. I worried myself sick over everything from the cost, to how I could handle all the appointments, but most of all whether it would work or not. We went through the process in the middle of April. I took a little over a week off to relax and get a few days of bed rest. The week before Mother's day we found out it had worked and we were pregnant. It was amazing and really scary at the same time. It seemed too good to be true. Well, 8 months later we are expecting our little girl in less than 3 weeks. I still can't believe it is finally happening to us. I know it's a scary process but it's not nearly as bad as I expected. So good luck to everyone! I wish you all success!
Many congratulations on the pregnancy
Motherhood is indeed a blessing
But today one doesn't need to worry about the cost of IVF as in the developing nations, due to reduced doctor fees, the cost of IVF is much much less
congradulation with ur conception...

i am so glad ur exp was good. please wud u like to share where u went for ivf. and how many eggs u asked to put in.
thanksss.
Sure, I went the Nashville Fertility Clinic in Nashville, TN. They were wonderful. They got 15 eggs (and that's from one ovary) and 9 fertilized but some fizzled out. Out of the 9, 4 were a grade A or B (which were the only ones they transfer) so we transferred two and froze two. One took. They were really surprised at how many eggs I got from the one ovary. I had read several months before starting IVF that wheatgrass was really good for egg quality so I actually started growing my own wheatgrass and juicing daily. I'm not saying that had anything to do with it but I wanted to do anything I could.
