You are so right ADDY this board is cruising along...just like your beautiful baby! Your bump is so cute and I think pretty small for 37 weeks. I am 3 weeks behind you and I think you our little basketballs are around the same size. I am working up to the day I go into labor even though we have a terrific maternity policy. I just want as much time with Evie as possible. Of course it is easy for me since I am on bed rest and my company totally supports me working from home. I have grown more tired lately and uncomfortable so I am sort of glad for bed rest since I don't have to travel and work as non stop as I normally do. I don't think I could do it at this stage! No plans for vacation, just NOT working. I will finish wrapping gifts and will probably read, post a lot, and watch a lot of movies. My original plan was to prep for the baby, but most of that is already done! Plus I can do so little from bed rest. Just going to enjoy the time.

Jen- I was the one that posted about the doppler. I love mine but I did get freaked out in the beginning. You are going to see lots of sites where women have found the HB at 10 weeks and it will scare the heck out of you when you can't. I found mine at 12 weeks but it took forever and really stressed me out. I tried every week but only for 10 minutes once a week and I didn't find the HB within that time frame until 15 weeks. After that I found it pretty regularly. I stopped using it just a few weeks later once I felt the baby move, that is until I had all these bleeding episodes. Since then it has been a LIFESAVER. When I woke up surrounded by a pool of blood I was able to quickly find her perfect HB. Of course that could have gone a different way... just go in knowing that you need to not worry about it! As for the pillow, I used one from 5 weeks up until about a month ago. Surprisingly I need it less now and it makes me uncomfortable. I surround myself with cozy King size pillows and decorative pillows that are strategically placed wherever I need them. :D

LYD- You are in the 2ww!!!! Last we heard from ttcnb she was crazy busy but doing just fine. It has been awhile though. Hopefully we will hear some good news soon. Good luck on the wait. Hope you and your LO have a fabulous holiday and it distracts you from stressing too much. We hope to see you on this side again and for good soon! Crash anytime my old cycle buddy.

Barbara- that is GREAT news. Its so nice when you have an explanation for what is happening that has NOTHING to do with your little bean. I was thrilled when I read your post and thought about you a lot today. God Bless those perfect little HBs on ultrasounds. There is nothing quite like it...and there is nothing quite like the moments just before you see it too.

Smoon- Happy birthday Mama!

Felicia- you are doing GREAT. I went overboard on eating for two and was in maternity clothes at 10 weeks. Of course I also used to run like 40 miles a week and stopped right before I got pregnant so my body went through a MAJOR change in a short amount of time. But to be as far along as you and just really showing, that is amazing. I am super jealous! You will have to post a bump pic soon.

Hoping- what is your native tongue?

Hi guys,

I am hoping one of the pregnancy bleeders can relate to this and let me know if you have had the same. Ever since my first episode of spotting at 7 wks 5 days I have had spotting about every 48 hours, although the longest I went without spotting was 5 days. In between spotting I get a lot of brown discharge (I know it's old blood) but tonight I went pee and there were thousands of little bits of brown and red stringy mucus (sorry gross!) Has anybody had this after spotting and what the hell is it!!???
I am too the point of feeling despair tonight. I am almost 10 weeks and I cannot IMAGINE loosing this baby. I feel like everyday is 'the day' it's going to happen and I hate feeling negative like this. Did any of you who spotted or are currently spotting feel this way? I am getting some weird cramps tonight, not really bad but shooting pains with what feels like a twisting pain :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: UGH *tears*
Just need some stories of inspriration. I am going to say a little prayer tonight and let God know I am at the end of my rope with this.

Happy Bunny-- was thinking about you ALL DAY !!!! Couldn't wait to get home to read how things went  I am so happy they found a reason for your bleeding! That has to make you feel so good. (((Hugs))) How long do they anticipate this bleeding lasting?

Well, I am going to go take a shower and probably consult DR. Google for the rest of my Friday evening...

Hugs,
Jennifer

Jen: I think the red stringy stuff is blood mixed with cervical mucus. At this point in your pregnancy, cervical mucus starts to really increase to form the mucus plug. I had some pretty creepy brown stringy stuff. If you had not had so many issues with blood, you would have noticed the cervical mucus really picking up all by itself.

I think your cramps/twisting feeling is round ligament pains (RLP). At this time of your pregnancy, hormonal changes allow your connective tissues to soften so that your body may expand with the pregnancy. It feels very much like a twisting/tugging/pulling/shooting pinch feeling - for me, it was first noticed to the left and right of my lower abdomen.

Also Jen, I worried so much that my heart and chest physically ached from the stress and anxiety. I constantly felt as if I were standing on the edge of doom. Mentally, I wasn't sure how much longer I could take it. On one hand, I wanted answers so bad but on the other hand, I was terrified that I would learn bad news. Today during my scan, I broke down and cried just from the relief of the stress. I'm not one to cry, especially in front of other people but I couldn't help it. Your stress and anxiety are totally normal. Soon, you will be on the other side of this mess.

I could stop spotting any time, continue to spot for weeks or spot my entire pregnancy - he couldn't tell me. Now that I know what it is and what the risks are, I'm okay with that. Today is the first day that I feel like I can enjoy this pregnancy.

Sunshine- Thanks for updating the birthday list and not forgetting to greet me!~ Really do appreciate it~

Blissful- thanks for the greet. 34 weeks wow! And 41 days to go~ You are geting near to meet your little princess too!? Glad you're enoying your bed rest and keeping your self from being boring~ I think it's more good for you to rest not only because your OB recommended but I myself think that it's really good for your growing little princess~ Engjoy your bed rest as much as you can coz time will come that you must have to go back to work and do your old ways like traveling etc.!

Jen- HI jen~ I read all your post about your spotting and I can relate on what you are going through. I had the same case like yours. I started to bled from 5 weeks and it's also for at least 48 hours its the same brown clot and it didnt stop so I had to use a panty liner and contantly need to change. The next day I went to my RE to request an ultrasound coz I was too worried about it and at that time I was carrying triplets~ Well, luckily when they scanned me all three we're find and looks healthy but the saw a clot of blood in my uterus~ Annoyingly, my RE couldn't tell me exactly why there was a cloth of blood in there~ But she told me that for as long as you're bleeding brownish~ not red one, there's nothing to worried about. But hey! who's just gonna sit and relax after hearing that when you know you're still bleeding non stop and my bleeding continued until my 12~13 weeks! Don't lose hope! And spare those negative feelings! everything will be fine! And just keep your faith and believe in your little bean that he/she will be fine! You'll be in my prayers and I know you will be just fine! This thing might be a rollercoaster feeling but just hold on there ok?

Happy Bunny- Wow! you are 7 weeks far! What a great blessing is that! If I'm not mistaken it was only a few months ago when I read your post telling your birth story! And here you are having a baby again! ENvy you! How I wish I can be like you on my second baby~ It would be a great feeling to be expecting the second time around

Anton- Thanks again for crashing to greet me on my speacial day really appreciate it!

Addy- Love your belly~ I do agree to Bliss that it is small I think in a 37 weeks preggy! But who knows you might be bigger the next couple of weeks! ^^,

AFM- last 15 yes! on my bday! We went for our every two weeks check up~ Sadly I didnt gain too much and my little Kailey is weighing too small~ She only weighs 4.6lbs which is really small for a 35 weeks old. I admitted I didnt eat a lot coz of the stress that I'm getting~ And I know it's not helping but I can't have my appetite. So now I'm eating as much as I can so on my next check up I hope she gain weight. The good news is her head is down my cervix is still fine~ I had a little Contraction last week but my OB said that it was fine~ If it happens again I should probably give them a call and let them know~ So I'm crossing my fingers for the good news next check up~
Here is my 33 weeks MATERNITY PIC...... But I will take a pic on my growing belly next time ^^,

Have a wonderful WEEKEND EVERYONE! Kisses!

Precious - That is really a beautiful picture!! Try not to worry too much about your little one's weight. My best friend is due tomorrow (will probably go over) and her baby was weighing around four pounds at 36wks. Amazingly he picked up weight in his last few weeks and is now almost 8 pounds.

Jen - The stringy bleeding is just like Happy Bunny said, blood mixed with cervical mucus. I was right at your point when I started having tons of cervical mucus on top of my bleeding, it made for very interesting bathroom trips. Just relax and KNOW that your bean is fine. Your little one needs calm and peace. Take nice big deep breaths.

BlissfulICS - Thanks for the reassurance! I was freaking out that my weight was going to be out of control. I just do not want to be the size of a house before my third trimester!

Thanks everybody for the feedback everybody! I swear this has been the longest 10 weeks of MY LIFE. I thought pregnancy would be a litte more enjoyable than this  I am hoping the 2nd trimester brings the peace I am looking for

Does anybody know if Heart Rate has a correlation with loss? My friend on another forum just lost her bean at 10+3 and the fetus always had a low Heart Rate. I am just curious...

So far I have had no blood or brown discharge for 24 hours. WHOOO HOOOOO! It's the small things LOL

Smoon---- you are gorgeous!!!! What a gorgeous bump you have there

Fvrogers- Thanks for the feedback. I was kinda thinking it was CM but I wasn't sure. I notice I have a lot of discharge lately, I think I need to invest in panty liners =]

Happy Bunny-- How are you!? Thanks for your long post, you made me feel 100% better-- I really appreciate it my friend

Hope everybody has a great Saturday night or Sunday depending on where you are.

Hugs!

Smoon: Wow, you look fantastic! What a wonderful memory pic of your pregnancy.

Jen: Great news on not spotting! You keep that up and we'll have to kick you off the spotting team!

AFM: I'm still spotting but I'm doing a good job of ignoring it and enjoying my pregnancy. I've been following a strict "Wipe and Don't Look" policy and I feel better not staring at and inspecting all that stuff. My doctor says that we're doing great so I'm going to listen to that rather than my anxiety. This might be my last pregnancy and I desperately want to enjoy it.

Have I really not posted since November 15th??? I'm such a bad friend...so sorry ladies! Although I have been reading, I have been so busy...

Mora- Wow, I can't believe you have a little over 6 weeks left until your LO is here in your ams...so exciting! I love the nursery...great way to combine your DD & DS.

ttcnb- How are you doing?

dogzrule- How's everything going? Congrats on a girl!!! I love the name Alecia!

smoon0021- Your picture is absolutely beautiful! Can you believe how close you are! Happy belated b-day!

easley4- You're almost in the 3rd trimester! It starts at 28 weeks, right? How are you feeling? A jungle/sports theme sounds so cute for a nursery! How is that going?

Alisa- So sorry about the GD, but glad you're able to control it w/ your diet. You're getting so close to meeting Evie...you must be so excited! So glad your hospital scare was just scare & nothing major. It stinks that you have to be on bed rest, but it seems as if though you're still able to get your work done.

Wishingandhoping- How exciting & overwhelming...picking out furniture & setting up the registry. How's that going? Are they going to be sharing a nursery?

katieb1231- So sorry you're feeling down about your SS. I can't even imagine how difficult it must be. Stay strong...everything will work out & you will have your LO safe in your arms really soon!

Addy- Wow...you're so close!!! You're tiny for 37 weeks! How much weight have you gained? Glad the baby is still head down!

DALLAS (Miranda)- I'm glad everything looked good at your last appointment! 6lbs each...that's great!

yingz- You're so close, too!!! Sorry about the carpal tunnel. My friend had that towards the end of her pregnancy, but as soon as she delivered, it went away.

hopingForAMiracle- So sorry about all the hurdles, but you're right...making it this far is all that matters! Congrats on team pink!

NancyB- How are you doing? Has the baby turned? I know you're waiting to find out the gender until the baby is born, but do you have any feelings?

Sunshine1576- You're so sweet w/ making a b-day list. Mine is November 2nd.

Felicia- Congrats on making it to 2nd trimester...so exciting! Don't worry about the fetal monitor not working. I threw mine out (my SIL gave it to me)...it was awful & freaking me out b/c I couldn't detect a heartbeat at all. DH tried & he could barely hear his own! Are you going to find out the flavor?

longtimerivf- Wow...how scary! Have the contractions stopped completely? Congrats on a girl!

Barabara- Congrats on a healthy bean! I'm glad they found the cause of the bleeding & it has nothing to do w/ the baby.

JenMink55- Congrats on the pregnancy! I'm so sorry about all the bleeding episodes. How scary that must be! Cramping & twisting is totally normal...your uterus is stretching & a lot of things are getting moved around. You're almost in the double digits!

I'm sorry if I missed anyone. I promise I will be a lot more frequent w/ personals

Ester: Congrats! You got the set! :D You must be so stoked . . .

Jen: I know the bleding is scary ... I read somewhere that IVF pregnancies are notorious for spotting . . .hang in there . . .

Smoon: cute pic! and happy Birthday!

Addy: with DD, I wanted to work until 38 weeks, but DD came at 36 weeks . . . for DS, I'm going to try for 38 again, but we'll see . . . I don't get disability as a teacher (just my sick days for maternity leave), so I want to spend as much time as I can with DS , , , my sister is a nurse and she took off at 36 weeks . . . guess it just depends on what you maternity leave policy is =)

HappyBunny: yay for a great u/s! I read that placental issues usally work themselves out, so here's to a smooth pregnanacy! :D

AFM: just cruising along. I have 3 weeks off for winter vacation and am supposed to go back for a few days in january. Hope to start my maternity leave Jan. 17, but we'll see if DS has other ideas . . .
