Alisa (blissfulcs)- you look great on the pictures too!! white snow on the background makes this picture even nicer!!! congrats on being so close!! I guess working full time from the couch has its advantages on making time fly by!! I'm glad you'll get some time off soon so you can rest, relax and enjoy all that's left of your bed rest!!

Hopingforamiracle- thanks for sharing your bed rest story! I'm glad it worked for you! I have been extra-careful like you in doing basically nothing... I shower and get on the couch and make myself lunch and get back on the couch and so on... on some sundays I have gone to lunch with DH, but he drops me off at the door and I sit down, we have lunch and drive back home... even with that little effort I get some extra contractions... Did you get contractions like that and still have your cervix get better?? Where are you from???

Deftonesmo- hope your little one lets you enjoy this 3 weeks off and that you're able to go back in Jan for several days as you are planning!!! WOW so close!!!

Katieb- hope everything is going smoothly and you are doing great!!!

Dallas!!! almost there!! congrats on making it so far with your twins!!

Smoon- great pic!! and happy very belated bday!!! You're almost there!!! I planned to work until I went into labor... but life has mysterious ways!!!

Anton- How are you my friend?? Did you find a new job? Hope this Christmas is filled with joy and happiness and that 2012 will bring you your miracle baby!!!

AFM - not much to report... still on house arrest... have an appointment this week and hoping everything will stay the same... enrolled on some more online classes to try to make time fly... Still start having contractions if I stand up or walk around a while... (does anyone else get that?? I sometimes wonder if I'm over-reacting and so is my OB...) I guess it's wishful thinking!! Hope everyone has a wonderful week!!! and a great monday start!!!

Ester- A boy and girl- wow!!!! How perfect is that btw, your pregnant belly is gorgeous my friend. I am so happy that you are finally getting your miracle x 2!

Happy Bunny-- how is that spotting?? I am just gushing brown junk- blah

Bliss- you are gorgeous and that bump is perfect. I cannot imagine standing in that snow! Living in CA I can barely stand 50 degrees LOL

AFM- Not much going on. Today I am 10 weeks, really excited about that. The spotting red blood has pretty much gone away (knock on wood) and now I am just passing a lot of brown gunk which is probably CM & old blood. Some days I have barely any so I suppose that is good.

WEll, honestly after reading your post it eased my worries about my little one's weight.As day passes by my belly gets bigger and heavier everyday which makes me think maybe she really gains weight alot now.How about you? How's your pregnancy going? and how far are now??? I noticed you didnt have the ticker so I'm curious ^^,

Moorebaby- yeah really am really close to meet my little one... 25 days more then she's here. But still I always look at the mirror and stare at my growing belly everyday just to assure that am not dreaming. We've waited for this and wanting this for so long and now we're just waiting for her arrival!!!!! Am so happy! And so as you! Look at those belly pic. Your belly is growing well. And A BIG wow! After 5 failed IVFs now you're expecting twins? And what makes me more envy you is that you're having both a girl and a boy! That is like a total package! Really happy for you! Have a safe and unevenful pregnancy!

Bliss - Sounds like you have some great ideas for your vacation! I wish I had more time for movies and reading before our little guy arrives. You will have to post some pics of your nursery when it is all done! You and DH look amazing in that pic! Love the background! I've been getting a lot of comments about how no one can believe I am less than 3 weeks from my due date. But I really think it's just that I can hide it well with my clothes. My mom also never got really big when she was pregnant, so maybe that has something to do with it. *shrug*

Happy - glad you were able to find out the cause of your bleeding. How is Brooke doing?

Smoon - you look so gorgeous in your maternity pic! That is great that Kailey is head down! How did your doc determine her weight? I've never been told what they think our guy weighs. Maybe I'll ask on Thursday when I see my OB.

Moore - I love your bump pics!! You look outstanding! And what wonderful news you are having a boy AND a girl! Have you guys decided on names? I've gained 35 lbs so far I really don't know where all the weight has gone since I'm getting lots of comments about how small I look.

Deft - wow 3 weeks? That is awesome! DH is also a teacher and his last day is Thursday, but they only get 2 weeks. I know he can't wait for winter break. Although I don't think he's going to get much of a break, I plan on keeping him busy around the house until our little one arrives

Long - what classes are you taking? Hope your next appt is uneventful and nothing has changed.

Jen - congrats on 10 weeks! So glad to hear the spotting has turned brown. When is your next appt?

Ester - You look so good girl!!! I was just thinking about you the other day and was hoping you would post soon. One of each - that is just perfect!!! We definitely plan to find out the flavor, I do not think DH will sleep a wink until we do. We are both hoping for a boy but just feel so blessed to have this little miracle we will be happy with whatever we have.

Alisa - Very pretty picture!! You look awesome.

Jen - Congrats on the 10 week milestone!! First trimester is almost over girl! When do you see the OB?

Precious - My pregnancy is much better now that I am in my second trimester. My first trimester was rough, I had never ending nausea and vomiting. It was horrible, I was barely able to work. But I feel like a new woman now. Tons more energy and I my appetite is back. I am now 15 wks and 6 days. I do need to add a ticker, I just keep forgetting.

AFM - My appointment yesterday went well. My hematoma is completely gone so hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here. My next appointment is late January and we should find out the gender at that appointment. So I just keep hanging out for now.

QOTHW - I had such a hard time coming up with something for me. It is so sad, everything I want is for my baby. I guess the one purely selfish thing I want for me is an I Pad. I have been wanting one for a while but just could not justify spending the money after all the money we put into IVF and now getting ready for the baby.

Hi Ladies - I know it's been a while since I have posted but I have been trying to keep up with the board as much as possible. I am sure I am going to miss some folks so I apologize in advance.

Welcome to all our new mommy-to-be board members! It's great to see so many new faces and the board activity has definitely picked up.

Bliss - Sorry to hear about the bleeding episode and the bedrest but it will all work out and your LO will be here sooner than you know. Great pic of you and your DH with snow as a backdrop.

Lyd10 - Good to hear from you. I am wishing great things to you for this Christmas season and sending lots of baby dust your way.

Katieb - Glad that the addition is almost complete and don't sweat too much the SS behavior, it will all work out the way it should in the end.

Hoping and Wishing - Congrats on the Boy/Girl news! Have fun with the baby shopping and decorating.

AFM - I have been struggling through this pregnancy and I am just thankful for everyday that these babies stay tucked in. I had to have a 2nd cerclage to reinforce my almost non-existent cervix and both stiches are holding really well. I have been having contractions and cramping that placed me in and out the hospital for 4-5 days at a time but we are fighting to keep pre term labor at bay for now. I am home for now, on strict bedrest and will hopefully be home through the end of Dec. Pretty sure that I will be in the hospital as of early Jan. I am horribly large and have just made it past the 24W (Note:I am the size of a full term preggo woman and even larger than I was when I delivered my son). We did find out that we are having three more boys and we are just taking it milestone by milestone.

Ladies- I am the worst list mistress ever! Our board technically had its first baby last week. Although Sweetpea knew she was delivering in December and was active on the 2011 board, she is still an official member of the Special Delivery 2012 team. Kat gave birth to beautiful baby Lucas last week. Congrats Kat and welcome Lucas!

so im joining this thread finally! Got a positive beta on monday at 94.5 6dt5dt with IVF and 163 today 8dp6dt. i have had to have 2 Liters of fluid drawn from my belly in the past three days due to OHSS Going for another beta on friday,.. the RN at the md office said since my jump was only 80% in bout 46 hours that they want another one on friday at 48 more hours,.... has anyone else not had a 100% jump??!! A little concerned but still happy to have a positive thus far,... any stories would be appreciated!!!

Bonnie: my betas doubled every 72 hrs and it turned out I had identical twins, although one of them didn't develop properly. My re looked for doubling time to be between 48-72 hrs and wasn't concerned as long as it was within that time frame. I am sitting here holding my month old son and I have a 2 yr old as well. Btw the twin that didn't develop was just a rare defect that happens that had nothing to do w/ivf or beta numbers. I think your beta doubling time looks better than mine.
