Lyd: you asked about if we saw the heartbeat. Yes, at the 7 week scan we did - even though the baby was measuring small. Miscarriage was confirmed at 9 weeks even though baby had doubled in size.

Kbillsy- so exciting!!! I am so happy for you.

Lyd- our ultrasound is on jan 4th. I can totally understand how you would be nervous with any bedrest necessary with twins since you have a little one. I would be fine with it, well, as fine as you can be with , my 17 year old is already looking out for me...he is too sweet. We were on the escalator at the mall yeaterday and he kept looking back to make sure I was ok.

Maria- that is awesome that your lining is looking great! I am excited about your upcoming fet. How is your son? Has he even brought up his dad, or is he just dealing with it quietly? You know, boys tend to deal with things differently than us ladies.

Afm- still in dallas with the inlaws. My dh told his friends last night. He plans on telling his family christmas eve when they do their presents.

Ok ladies wanted to give another update,.. they took another 350 ML from my tummy today but it is slowing down!! And my BETA is now up to 355.6! So it went up 130% this time yay!! I hope everyone has a happy and blessed holiday!!! Baby dust all around!

LauraN-thank you for asking. DS has not wanted to talk about his dad. He is dealing with it quietly. I didn't think about how boys deal with these things differently. Thank you for bringing it up. I tried to bring it up a few days ago and he really didn't want to talk. He said that he is not like other people who like to talk bout these things. He said that he is just not like that. So I had to back off a bit and just let him know that I am there for him whenever he wants to talk. I am so excited for you. What a great christmas present foe your family.

Congratulations. Your Beta sounds great and I am glad thatthe fluid buildup is slowing down.

Ninde-I agree with asking about the PIO. I know that there is research tha shows that there is no difference between the progesterone suppositories or the progesterone injections. The only difference is that the progesterone suppositories are absorbed by the endometrium and thus there is no way of measuring how much is being absorbed. On the other hand, the PIO is measurable by blood test and that is what make me feel bait more secure. With that said, at 9 weeks it probably was not due to progesterone levels. I can't recall but did you ever have genetic testing done?

WE, I cannot even begin to think what I would do in your place as far as talking to your DS. This is such a hard topic and such a difficult circumstance. I am sending healing wishes your way and your sons's way. Sometimes they have child councelors that might be able to help? Maybe at his school there is someone?

Bonnie - I am glad you fluid buildup is slowing down. And your beta numbers are looking great.

LauraN, it's nice that your older son is so protective of you! Your u/s sounds so far away! But I guess it is only 2 weeks since your last beta. Time seems to slow down when you are waiting for results.

Lyd-thank you for the advice. I spoke with him about going to see someone an he really wasn't fond of the idea. DS is very reserved. In that way he is very much like his father. He has a great counselor at school. She told me that they were planning on starting a group for kids hay have lost a loved one. They have about 10 or so kids who have lost either a parent or sibling sothey thought it would be a good idea to start a support group. I will have to follow up with her again after winter break.

Kbillsy- WOW CONGRATS! How many did you transfer? DH said if that happened to us he wouldn't come home, lmao! He's kidding of course!

AFM- Still bleeding. No cramps at all and I wasn't bleeding yesterday really so thought I was in the clear. NOPE! This is annoying! I guess AF heard me long enough and decided to come just a week after the last one. This is just strange and hope nothing is wrong.

Gina-thank you so much. I wish I could say that I am excited about this cycle but unfortunately I am just going with the motions. I am sorry to hear that youbare still bleeding. That really sucks. Are you taking any meds that may be throughing of your cycle? I hope you feel Bette andstop bleeding soon.

Maria: that's wonderful about your lining and hopefully all systems go The support group for kids in your son's school sounds like a good idea and i hope it helps. In terms of the progesterone, whatever about the suppositories im pretty sure they wont give me injections. They give the suppositories up to beta 1. I've scheduled a day 21 to check my usual progesterone just for added information and im going to push. I didnt have genetic testing. Unfortunately here they wont do genetic testing on a first miscarriage.

Afm: im not wild about turkey so we go for a three/five bird roast. This year its a three bird so it's a duck in a turkey in a goose. Its boned and rolled so complete near and the threemeats are separated by different stuffings. So it should be nice. I was doing fine up to lunchtime when i started to drive to get the meat. Then all of a sudden I began to get really sad. Im sure its the time of year and thats why im feeling it but i would have been 20 weeks pregnant yesterdayand it hit me hard. I know there are many of you ladies who have been through this and I really hope I havnt upset anyone with my thoughts
