Lyd - It is so great to see those sticks! You now need to claim it as real and it shall be (drop the "hopeful" as you deserve this). The previous mishaps were just preparing your body for this one -----YEAH!!!!!!!!

Addy - Glad to hear that your OB appt. was uneventful . You are doing great.

AFM - I had 2 iron infusions so far this week as these LOs are sucking eveything out of me. Iron going through your vein really hurts even if diluted . I also completed my 3 weeks of echos on the trio and it all looks good. Still having the crampimg and contractions off and on but managing it with oral meds and trying to get through Christmas. Cerivx is stable at 2.5cm so I am happy for little blessings.

Well if this works the baby would be due in September. Which is good because DS will be out of diapers by then. So maybe all the negatives this past year, were the universe's way of making sure I didn't bite off more than I could chew
If its twins and there is bedrest in my future, I have no idea what the heck we are going to do. How do you bedrest with a toddler? I think my MIL would fly out to live with us for a few months.
I really hope this is it! I would be thrilled to give my DS a sibling!

LYD - I am so happy for you!!!! We have been through a few cycles together and this one is all yours baby! Congrats! Good luck on the DS being out of diapers I thought the same thing and I gotta tell you she is just not interested! She sits on her wee potty and just reads books and hangs out then I put a diaper back on and she wee's in it....everyone says don't push so we are not but I really, really, really want to!

Bliss - You are my bed rest hero, working from bed, list mistress from bed, all around super mama to be.....

Dallas - Wow you are really doing great congratulations & can't wait to see your little peanuts....36 weeks! Awesome!!! Maybe you will be our first 2012 baby on January 1st....Emilee was born New Years Eve which is fun but we were sorta hoping for a News Years Day baby!

ttcnb - You made it to 24 weeks that is awesome....other than the obvious issues with carrying triplets you are doing it with grace and patience....

Dragon Dad - Welcome! I am in a similar situation but as Bliss said my surrogate is a what I call my secret surrogate or SS...I adopted my first daughter from her and after our second mis carriage last year (we have had 7)we got a surprise call and we were shocked to hear that she was pregnant again and would we like to adopt the baby....we said of course! So baby girl number 2 is due February 14th right now....Olivia Kathryn....we are thrilled!

Deft, Addy, Moorebaby, hoping and everyone else sounds like you doing OK.....I am trying to keep up!! Can't believe we are almost at 2012! Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Happy Kwanza, Happy Everything.....

As for the QOTW: Okay ladies I know you all want healthy babies for a holiday wish...but thinking completely from a materialistic perspective, what is on your list for Santa this year (If you celebrate the holiday)??? It could be anything but it has to be for you and purely selfish. Its time to take care of Mom!

It is so bad but my husband and I don't give gifts we stopped when Emilee was born we enjoy watching her open and enjoy with a child's delight all the new things that Christmas morning brings. We are both avid outdoors people (skiers, water skiing wake boarding etc...) and when you live in a town that feels the same way you sort of give yourself gifts all year long! Haha...What I do really want purely for selfish reasons is a really nice double travel stroller! Makes my life easier for sure!

I have been so so sick and finally have a day off tomorrow so I plan to sleep in and stay in bed as long as I can....before the wee one can't take it any longer! Things are a bit better with the SS we went to the last appt and everything is ok she is measuring the perfect size and now doc says she is about 33 weeks (remember there was confusion about her last period when this all started so we were not sure) so now she might come the beginning of February so it is really just a wait & see game when she starts dilating and then they will schedule a induction date so we are getting close can't believe we are so close!!!! YIKES!!!!

Ok ladies and dragon dad wanted to give another update,.. they took another 350 ML from my tummy today but it is slowing down!! And my BETA is now up to 355.6! So it went up 130% this time yay!! I hope everyone has a happy and blessed holiday!!!

Hi there

Been stalking you all for weeks of course, but I am finally ready to officially join the board. Transferred 2 embryos on October 7, and I will be 14 weeks pregnant with twins tomorrow. We did PGD, so we know both are girls Hurray for the 2nd trimester. Here I come

So technically my due date is June 24, however my doctor will not let me go past June 10 with twins. Of course we all know odds are I'll go earlier than that!

Merry Christmas everyone! I am spending mine in the couch, drinking gatorate and getting thru a mild case of ohss. Even in its mild form its no fun. But I guess that's the price I pay for a BFP. Yesterday at 11dpo the hpt was really dark. So dark. That it scared me. Somehow, I've always imagined a singlelton pregnancy. But if it it is twins then I ll get they the pregnancy as well. I just want to carry to term. Which is no guarantee with twins. We may also need to get paid help for when I am on bedrest and afterwards. Afterwards doesn't scare me. It's just carrying to term. I an spoiled because my DS was born at 8.5 lb and has been at the top of charts since. So I never had to worry about it.

Anyway, one step at a time. I will have to read up on twins if it comes to it. Because DS u can tell, I am quite ignorant in that department.

Just wanted to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday season!!

I also wanted to share that I rented a fetal doppler off dynamicdoppler.com and let me tell you- It's so worth the $42 bucks a month! I was able to pick up the fetal HB at 10 wks 5 days. Two days in a row the HB has been 180+. Such a reassuring thing after everything I have been through with the bleeding. WHICH btw- has completely resolved after almost 4 weeks. I am not even getting brown spotting anymore!!!

Anyway- Hoping you are all enjoying your Christmas with your families. We are about to head to MIL's for Christmas dinner.

What cool stuff did you and you LO receive over the holiday? If you don't celebrate it...what baby or nursery item is highest on your list of "must haves?"

Had my OB appointment last Friday 12/23 and cervix was dilated by 1cm but it's still thick and long. I hope by next appointment which is this coming Friday it will have some progress. Baby already measured 7lbs and 7oz last Friday when I was 37 weeks 4 days. I hope she will not be too big when I deliver her. lol. I hope she will be below 9lbs. Well we shall see. I passed the GD test at my 27 weeks checkup so I don't know why she is getting so big. Anyway I will test my sugar tonight after I eat to rule out GD. I have been always thirsty in my entire pregnancy especially starting from 20th weeks so I have suspected that I might have GD but since I passed the test I didn't worry but now I'm concerned again. I will check tonight and post later.

Since a couple of weeks ago my feet started swollen badly and my heartburn has been getting worse and those vivid dreams and frequent bathroom trips kept me up at night. I have been exhausted in the day and I feel I'm ready for this baby to come out any time now. lol. But OB said she doesn't think the baby will be early and it's probably around due date.

Well that's so far for me. I'm getting more scared than excited as the big day approaches close. I'm concerned of baby's health and whether I can deliver her vaginally, my postpartum recovery, etc...I hope this is all normal that we have to deal with...

Wish everyone Happy Holidays and Good luck with everyone's pregnancy. It took us long to get where we are right now and we all deserve a healthy baby in our arms!!!

question of the week answer: I am not sure it's exactly what I am getting for the holidays, but if it's twins we are expecting then we are going to get a nanny!!! I couldn't justify a nanny with 1 kid, but with 3 you betcha!!! Oh My gosh, I am looking forward to all the help already! I would want her round weekends and evenings, o that probably old b a live- in nanny. With 1 kid we weren't willing to give up our privacy, but with 3 - you betcha! And to have help on weekends would be so awesome! Otherwise my weekends are often tougher than my weekdays.
