Hi, I am getting a pretty early BFP so I think there is a possibility of twins. I won't know for another 3 weeks at least. But I had a question for twin mommies - how does twin growth and development compare to singleton growth? At what age do they become the same?

I meant outside, when they are toddlers.

Their development is the same as with a singleton. A full term baby is a full term baby and a preeemie is a preemie. My boys were born 6 weeks early and were completely caught up to full term babies of the same age by 6 months ish, though our Pediatrician told us that they should be caught up by one year. The hope for any twin preggo is to make it full term with their babies and if you are indeed baking two I'm sure you will wish the same and then will not have to worry about catching up. Good luck, I wish you a blessed pregnancy!
