Beta went up to 291 from 161 last Wednesday. Definitely, absolutely ectopic -- and seemingly not resolving on it's own.

I'm waiting for the doctor to call me back, but I'm betting a methotrexate injection is in my near future.

Today is exactly 2 years since my water broke at 22 weeks and I lost my first set of twins.

Lyd: I'd say all that fluid is affecting the test. With all your earlier lines you are definately pregnant I hope you got some sleep and are feeling not too uncomfortable

Leorira: damn, that's not good. You really are not getting a break. Ok, what are next steps? I'm really sorry also that this is another anniversary x

they wanted me to come back on Wednesday, but I just can't wait that long.

I asked what we could possibly learn in more blood tests and ultrasounds --

I'm just so angry in general, and the nurse on the phone was getting the brunt of it

So, I"ll go tomorrow and get another u/s and more blood work (although they think that 2 days back-to-back isn't as good an answer).

Hopefully, I can talk to the doctor and figure out when this will END. I just hate more waiting and more blood tests and more not knowing.

At a certain point, I'd rather take the methotrexate -- just so this ENDS.

Leora - Geez, when are you going to catch a break?? This totally sucks! I'm so sorry. Hopefully they'll give you the methotrexate soon so you can move on. With both of my ectopics I was beyond the point of getting the metho shot since I was already bleeding internally. Lost my right tube & ovary the first time and lost my left tube the second time, all within 6 months of each other. I know it would suck to have to wait 3 months before trying again if you get the metho, but I agree the limbo is horrible. Thinking of you.

Leora, I am so sorry. Ectopics suck. Had one this spring. Takes too damn long time to resolve.

AFM, I talked to doc on call about my mild phase and just taking it easy as much as I can. I felt light headed this morning because I didn't drink enough. Drinking gatorade now. Almost passed out. But doc says no need to go to ER as long as it stays like this.

I stopped POASing because yesterday came back so dark, that it is scaring me now. We transferred 3. Of course I have no way of telling what beta this color corresponds to. In the past when I tested my betas were quite low and it was a chemical. So I don't know what color corresponds to a healthy beta. Ideally I would love a singleton, because I am so aware of dangers of multiples. But I am obviously prepared for twins, since I knew it was a possibility going in.

Leora~ OK. Damn roller coaster. Why can't you just get the merry-go-round? You have had a tough few years. I'm sorry. I was actually relieved when I got my negative last IVF because my first IVF was so drawn out and filled with so many ups and downs. It's better to just not be pregnant than to deal with all of these appts/ultrasounds. I'm thinking of you. How is your friend doing? I haven't posted in awhile but I remember the story from a few pages back. I was married for 9 years before and my ex-husband told me he wanted out. I was shocked. It took me a solid year to get over him. I lost 30 lbs (nice side benefit). I was SO sad. I thought I was going to be with him forever. Now I don't even know where he is. Life is crazy sometimes.

Nicole~ I'm so happy your DH told his family. Thank god you don't have to put a pillow in your pants the next time you see them. I wish I was going with you to your pedi/mani. My nails are awful.

Lyd~Congrats! I hope you turn the corner soon and start peeing more. The bloating is no fun and can be so scary. I honestly looked 7 months pregnant with my first IVF. I was so short of breath and I would wake up in the middle of the night because I had trouble catching my breath. Thinking of you~
You're in San Diego, right? Such a pretty day. May head to the beach.

Kbillsy~ wow. 3! I think I would have a heart attack. I think I could handle twins but triplets may put me over the edge. I would really like twins though because then I would know our family is complete. I've never wanted 4 kids (well maybe when I was 20) but I've always secretly wanted 3. I don't think I would or could be pregnant two more times so the next pregnancy (cross your fingers it happens one day) will probably be my last. Just curious... are you telling people that you used an egg donor? My husband doesn't want to tell people if we need an egg donor. I'm torn.

LauraN~ congrats. So happy to have some good news on the board. I hope the telling goes well.

Bonnie~ so sorry for the OHSS. No fun but congrats on the pregnancy.

Gina~ hope the bleeding has stopped. And I hope you are having a Merry Christmas.

Ninde~ I'm sorry. Sometimes things catch me off guard too. I am so grateful to have my son but there are moments when I see siblings playing together and I suddenly feel like I'm letting him down.

Kerri~ good luck with the stims. I'm not looking forward to it again but happy to say it will be my last time. On to egg donor if it doesn't work.

AFM~ Things have been so busy with my mom in chemo, Christmas, work and being a mom to a 3 year old. I've decided to do one more round of IVF and then I'm on to egg donor. I'll cycle in Feb.

Merry Christmas to those that celebrate!

We had a really nice Christmas Eve which included going to see Alvin and chipmunks new movie, Chip wrecked. Then home to do cooking baking and watch Christmas movies, Rudolph, Frosty etc...

Today was wonderful...we started present opening a little before 8. I got a Kindle Fire, crystal bracelet, movie, Coach lotion and perfume, Betty White Autobiography, pen with crystals inside of it. Couple of Teddy Bears, Nice set of fake nails and surprised I can't type but it's slow! lol. Also got money, gift cards, two wine glasses but you can't set them down without putting them in a glass holder, it's neat! Got some other odds and ends too. Loved it all

Hubby got, Ipod touch, nice watch, money, coach wallet, and other stuff. DS got lots of toys, Xbox games, 3DS since their aren't many 2D games anymore, nerf and bionicle stuff, money. Santa forgot something so he left a cute note that it will be coming soon! Hurry up Amazon! lol

We had a yummy ham and too much junk food!

Leora and Jayne- Thanks. Well the bleeding is still there. It hasn't been as bad except first thing in the morning after sleeping at night. Calling the Doctors this week for an appointment if it doesn't stop. I'm thinking it was either a cyst or AF again. Maybe neither.

Leora - Sorry your BETA didn't go down like you were hoping! I hope it will soon though!

Jayne- Good luck on your cycle in Feb! I do hope it works for you!

Thinking of you all today and for everyone who celebrates- a wonderful Christmas! Dh and I got up with only 35 minutes to get ready for church, I really wanted to attend the service since I missed last night's Candlelight service due to work. But all in all I survived Christmas in retail this year, YES! The service was special this morning and PACKED! Looking around the room some were in casual clothes and some in Christmas attire, I felt a little overdressed in my ruffled black dress but glad we made it in time. The message was special and the Christmas music quite beautuful. We got home watched 2 episodes of "How I met Your Mother" over a steak salad and then opened gifts. I teased with dh telling him this is how it will be done even when we have kids, you know make them wait later in the afternoon to open gifts! I got a yoga mat, ipod accesories with a Itune $25 gift card and beautiful card with some chocolates. I got dh Seinfield tickets and a desktop classic calender of Peanuts Charlie Brown, his favorite. Making some last minute Christmas scarves for Blackjack and Vegas, and then heading out to Pier Park to take our traditional walk on the beach and see who all we can meet along the way. Funny how a perfect stranger will walk up and want to pet their furry heads, but more funny how the labs never meet a stranger and will run up to them begging to be petted! I hope everyone else has a nice Christmas too.

Lyd - you poor thing. A big, bloated belly for Xmas and not even because you've over indulged.

Jayne - what a difficult time this must be for you. We may end up cycling together in Feb. Jan won't happen as I want to go through a cycle before kicking it all off again.

Ninde - wish I could send some Kiwi sun over to you to put a big smile on your face or alternatively win the lotto and pay for a ticket for you to come over.

AFM - it's now Boxing Day morning and I'm waiting for my MIL and SIL to get up so I can cook brekkie. The rest of us have been up for hours. I hate wasting half the day waiting around and find it hard to understand how somebody needs four more hours sleep than me! I'm so impatient! It's another gorgeous day here in New Zealand. The cicadas are humming at last.....

I've finally stopped bleeding after two weeks so I'm hoping my beta will be back to zero on Thurs.

Tess- How is he liking his? I haven't played with mine yet...didn't want to mess it up before I got a cover! lol. They just now got the reg kindle here so probably won't have them yet, maybe off base if they have them here at all. So I'll mess around with it tomorrow. Dh put some fake nails in my stocking so I'm typing way toooo slooow. lol

I hope everyone is having a very Merry Christmas! DD and I made it to Serbia! It was a very traumatic 30 hour trip given she did not see and threw up all over me in Germany. As soon as I met up with DH in Belgrade I started sobbing I was so upset and exhausted. We have been having a great time here with family and friends. Went to the RE in Belgrade a few days ago, the clinic is the most over the top extravagant dr office I have ever been in. I guess for Serbian standards they are making very good money. The RE said my lining looks great- 11mm. I started Progesterone suppositories today and still on estrace. FET is scheduled for 12/29!! Fingers crossed!
Im going to go back and read all the posts now! Lots of baby dust to all!

Wow, Kala, how brave of you! To travel by yourself with a 2.5 year old. Good for you! Goo luck on your cycle!
