Thanks. I so needed that. I feel the bearer of bad news lately.

And some very pleasant holidays to all of you.

Ghost, hello. I hope you dont mind my posting a question? I live in ireland and my clinic (Merrion Fertility clinic) only provide progesterone support up to the first beta support. So many of the ladies here on the forums say they have progesterone shots or suppositories up to 10/12 weeks. I've said it again to my clinic as i hope to cycle and transfer at end feb having lost my first baby in oct at just under 9 weeks. We saw at heartbeat at 7 week scan but baby was smaller than it should have been and although there was growth in following days the miscarriage was confirmed and i had a d&c at 9 weeks. But the clin

Nindeic are still saying there is no proof that extra progesterone support works. Could I ask you your opinion?

Many thanks

I'm pretty sure some IVF pregnancies will be lost due to low progesterone if none is provided, but I don't know how frequently. We always provide it.
