First IVF Failed - New to Board

Hi, I'm new to this board. I just had my first IVF in June - got pregnant, but it only lasted 2 1/2 weeks. HCG numbers were never very strong.

I'm 37. Quit my high tech job in October to reduce stress. Found out tubes were blocked in November after 2 years of trying to conceive (Why did I wait so long to get tested?). Had tubes removed in January.

We had 8 healthy looking embryos - 5 are frozen. Will probably try those or else maybe a full IVF cycle in August after consulting with the doctor about our options.

I've been reading the posts and it has been so helpful to know I'm not alone. I admire you all. We are some of the bravest women alive, IMHO. Thank you so much for your posts.

Hi my name is tammi sorry about your ivf. i am in my 2 week wait with my second try at ivf. i am 37 and had 4 embroys implanted. the embroys were not looking great that is why my doc put in so many. wish me luck. dont get dicouraged. good luck to you

Welcome to the site. If you feel like it come over to the General Forum and onto the June or July cycle buddy thread. There are lots of us there who give eachother support and encouragement. On the June thread there are a few on the 2ww and I will be joining it tomorrow for the 4th time.

There is someone else on the June thread called Teresa who also has had 4 embies implanted so you sould chat to her too.

Come over as this side is a bit quiet and most people are on the General Forum.

I have started posting on the General Forum as Dagny advised.

BEST OF LUCK on your ET!! My 3 embies were perfect, and it was no go for me, so I don't think having perfect embryos means you get a +ve. I'm going to give FET a go with the less perfect ones they froze, hopefully in Aug or Sept.
