Uterine issues

Hi everyone,

I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer for on Dr.Google. What kind of uterine issues may lead to not being able to get pregnant, even with surgery?

A few years ago, my appendix leaked and caused my tubes to be blocked. It didn't occur to me until I started the IVF process that the infection could have caused other damage to my uterus. My saline sonogram is scheduled for next week so I guess I am going to find out... From what I read, scarring and such can be removed.

What kind of uterine issues are not 'fixable'? Thanks!
