So sorry for not posting much. I'm just so overwhelmed with being a new Mom all over again and trying to manage everything. Even work couldn't handle without me so I'm having to log in and my boss actually wanted me to come back after 5 weeks becuase he was going away and screwed up thinking I was back. I'm like no way 6 weeks is the soonest. Phones will have to get transferred to my cell if needed. The fact I'm going back after 6 weeks is doing them a huge favor as it is Little man is eating every 2-3 hours and I'm breatsfeeding so it takes a good 40-50 minutes with burping. So I don't get many breaks from him. He's also staying up a lot. I'm extremely sleep deprived. Have thought of giving up breast feeding quite a few times, trying to at least hold off until 6 weeks. My c-section healed well and I was only on pain pills every 4 hours for the first few days than weened myself off them so by last Thursday I was completely off them. That's a first for me but she didn't do a classic cut this time on my uterus and what a huge differance that made pain wise.

I love all the pictures of the babies they are all so cute. Hope everyone is doing well hopefully eventually I can really catch up with you all. Maybe once Lucas starts feeding evety 3-4 hours

Alisa, I bet you and DH are very excited that you are going to meet Evelyn soon, aren't you?

nwquiz, How are you? You due 1/8 correct? How is it progressing now? Has your cervix dilated or still closed?

AFM: I'm ready. But I don't think the baby is ready. Last appointment which was last Friday I was only 1cm dilated. I see OB tomorrow so we shall see. I suspect I developed GD later in my pregnancy although I passed GD test at 28 weeks. I tested my sugar for the past 2 days and some of them were border line, i.e. 144 at 2 hour after meal. So I cut down the carbs now. I don't want her to get too big. lol Today is my last day at work. I'm so excited that the big day is getting close and meanwhile I'm super nervous. I still ask myself and DH whether Chloe is going to healthy. Although I had amnio at 16 weeks and the result is perfect 46xx and level II ultrasound at 20 weeks is perfect too, I still worried. I remember that the nurse at the IVF center joked at us that I will never be worry free from the day that I knew I got pregnant. I guess it's so true.

Alisa- I was wondering how you had been doing lately. Glad to hear Evelyn is still hanging in there and things seem to be going well. Can't wait until you get to meet what looks to be a very beautiful little girl!!

Lou- what a cute pic of Chloe!! Sounds like you've got the whole daycare/work schedule figured out.

Kat- I can't believe your work has been pressuring you to come back so soon. 6 wks is definitly the minimum so they should be very thrilled to have such a hard dedicated worker!

Anna- Paul is such a looker!! I also wanted to comment on your question about periods while breastfeeding. I'm not sure I am actually having a full blown period, but I actually started spotting a day or so ago even though its only been 8 wks since the girls were born and I'm breastfeeding. I know most people don't have a period at all while breastfeeding, but I guess we are just some of the lucky ones.

Afm- I'm excited because I got a new camera today!! I can't wait to start photo sessions with the girls in all their cute outfits and headbands! Hope everyone is doing well. I have another 2 weeks before I am giving my official 2 week notice @ work. I'm technically supposed to go back on Jan 24, but am thrilled to be able to stay home with the girls.

Lou...Chloe is a beauty!!! As for daycare, my mil watches them. She left my poor fil in Georgia to get an apartment here to watch them. It's been such a blessing. They will start daycare at the start of my next school year, so they will be just over 1. Good luck going back!!

Annashope - Paul is such a cutie! I love how happy he looks in his bouncer. And a cruise sounds like so much fun. I hope you'll post pics.

Blair - Great news that you'll get to stay home with the girls! I love staying home with Maribel. The days are long sometimes (like today will be since she decided to start her day at 3:55am...why, I have no idea LOL) but it's amazing to see all that she learns and discovers. And she makes me laugh all day with her big cheeky, gummy smile so even a long day is full of smiles. l'll probably have to go back to work next year, unless DH goes to Afghanistan, in which case I'll stay home longer. But I'm just cherishing every day I do get to stay with her.

Alisa & Yingz - You're almost there! Can't wait to see pics of Evelyn and Chloe when they arrive.

Kat - You must be a really nice person because I'd be telling my boss to take a flying leap if they asked me to return to work that early. Geez, you just had major surgery and you waited so long for little Lucas, the least they could do is let you enjoy a few weeks with him. UGH! Not nice! And hang in there. I remember those early weeks of complete and utter exhaustion and I rejoiced every time Maribel slept just a little bit longer. (Of course, this morning she had a bottle at 1:30am and got up for the day at 3:55am so I kinda feel like she's back to her newborn ways today.) But Lucas will stretch those sleep times soon, even if it's just a little.
