Well done you - sounds like you are on the right track now - just need Bina sorted out.
I have ulcerative colitis so have some idea of what it is like to be pg with an auto immune disease like that.

ttc 9 years. 38 yrs old, dh 8 hrs younger!First IVF in Aug 2002 and had ectopic.2nd IVF neg.3rd FET and negative.4th FET and positive but sadly lost our little boy at 20 weeks.5th FET and Alice Isobel and Emily Charlotte born 5th Aug 2004!
Just looking through my diary so thought I'd post the appointments i've had so far for comparison.
8 wks - first scan at fertility clinic
8 + 5 - 2nd scan at fertility clinic, due to bleeding
9 wks - booking in appointment with midwife at local surgery. Routine history etc taken, dealings with fertility clinic over.
12 wks - first scan at local hospital, plus routine BP, urine tests etc
16 wks - midwife at local surgery for routine tests and chat
17 wks - hospital appt to see consultant
20 wks - abnormality scan at hospital and routine tests
23 wks - midwife at local surgery
24 wks - antenatal at hospital
27 wks - glucose blood test
28 wks - hospital scan and antenatal with consultant, bloods taken
32 wks - hospital growth scan and antenatal with consultant
34 wks - midwife at local surgery for routine BP, urine, blood taken etc
.......................................................
Fingers crossed i get this far:
36 wks - scan booked
37 wks - midwife at surgery booked
38 wks - consultant at hospital booked
So basically the hospital have been seeing me roughly every 4 weeks and it is very routine for twins, as they take on most of my care and i get more scans to check on growth. In between those appointments, I made appointments with the midwife at the local surgery, basically just to reassure myself that my BP etc was ok regularly and to get to listen to the heartbeats. These were just 15min quick appointments which I'm sure not many people would bother to book.
I think it depends what you are comfortable with, but i found more appointments reassuring, although of course it differs for everyone and every hospital will also be different.
Also, i have seen a different midwife almost every time i've been for an appointment, and only recently see the main man consultant now i am so close. When i have my babies i fully expect to be delivered by a midwife that i've never seen before, so i'm trying not to let that worry me.

Have a distinct feeling Phil has decided not to wait until my birthday to have her baby................. she is very quiet for someone not in labour!
