Got my FET schedule finally. My last day of bcp will be 1/10. The earliest transfer will be is 2/1 depending on my lining level. Woohoo! And just for the hell of it, if I have the transfer on 2/1 my due date will be October 19.

Patricia, you have to add cardio in with the strength training. You aren't going to see much weight loss without it. It's such a delicate balance. I feel your pain.

First of all, to all of the ladies doing ultrasounds today, I am praying for great news!!

Kerri - Good news! Sending you lots of good vibes for a smooth and fruitful egg retrieval today.

Kala - Feel better - allergies really can suck. My fingers are crossed that a positive is just around the corner.

Lyd - Glad to hear you are feeling better. Congrats on being 5 weeks! Good luck on Thursday:) I think with the tickers, if you use the BBCode and not the html in your signature, it will recognize that it's code and not count it towards the character limit. As far as finding a cleaning person, I am not sure why it is so hard around here but it is! There a lot of people looking for a one-time cleaning job while they are between jobs, but not so many people interested in coming on a regular basis. Also, the cleaning services here supposedly pay their employees awfully (which I believe), so I rather use an individual and know they are getting to keep everything I pay them.

Anton - Hi! Happy New Year's to you, too. I look forward to a more comprehensive update later:) DH and I really like documentaries so maybe we will check it out…it was good? I saw The Help with my SIL and it was a lot of fun, hope you enjoyed that, too!

We - I totally see it right away and it is not so faint! Congrats, girl!!! Looks like you've got one or two strong and early little implanters in there, now I am praying the Lovenox will do the trick to give this cycle a happy ending:) As for switching to the supps, they are definitely messy, but it sounds like a good plan - less unpleasant than excessive bruising and bleeding at injection sites, probably.

Lauren - Good luck with your upcoming cycle - so exciting!!!

Ninde - What a day! Sorry to hear about the car. I hope today goes more smoothly. I think you made a good choice postponing the cycle a bit, and I am wishing you lots of luck with your weight loss and fitness goals.

Sunshine - Good luck with the phone call tomorrow. I can relate about going through the clothes - I really need to do that, too!

Blue - So exciting that you got your FET schedule - I am sending lots of good vibes your way.

Leora - How's it going? I know you have an insanely busy week!

wow - 4 pages overnight! Looks like everyone is back from their holiday vacations! :D

Rosie - no, the boys' birth wasn't considered IC because I was having regular contractions (although I could barely feel them). One doctor said he thought there could be an IC aspect, because I dilated fully in less than 2 hours, but in general, having contractions rules out IC. Ugh.

Good news about the Zofran being approved. I'm sure doctors will still be annoying about it (ie, make me try everything else first!), but I know the Zofran works for me.

Crappy days still suck. When I complain about pregnancy symptoms (especially my puking and the related hospital trips for IV fluids), people always say "but aren't you so glad you're pregnant?" Of course you are glad you're pregnant! But that doesn't mean that you don't still have sucky days!

Indigo - update? I've been stalking for your beta results!

Kerri - thanks. In general, I trust my IVF doctors. I just don't understand why they are being so backward on this issue! Good luck at retrieval today! Let us know how it goes!

Kala - you know, you are still really early. I usually don't get a BFP until about 11 or 12 dpo, and my betas are usually very high (not this time, but the other 3). POAS is an obsession though! I'm obsessed too! You can't use the steroid cream for your face? that should be fine, ask your doctor.

Lydia - no rollercoasters? Is your life worth living? So you saw your ectopic in your tube... I wish we could see something that would definitively tell us what this is (and what to do about it!) As for the signature ticker, you can shrink the url, and sometimes that helps it all fit in this website's 255 character limit (or whatever). Google "Tiny url" and you'll get a site that'll shorten the link for you.

Antonia - Happy New Year to you too! Yeah - this is seriously seriously sucking. I have some really big questions for "the big man upstairs" if I ever get the chance to ask. What the f*ck could I possibly have done to deserve all this crap? I'm a generally good person (at least, I think!). You've been to Israel? On a cruise? Cool! What did you see? Only the port towns (Haifa and/or Ashdod) or also Jerusalem?

Maria - YAYAYAYAY! Wow, you are having great IVF pregnancy rates (which, I know as well as you, aren't the same as "take home baby" success rates, but still! You've had 4 transfers and 3 pregnancies? I thought my 4/7 was good!) I hope the next 2-3 weeks pass super quickly and you see that heartbeat soon! - btw, funny story about bruising. I fenced in college (yes, with swords, that kind of fencing) and so did DH (actually, part of how we met!). I was always bruised up from the fencing. Right before our wedding, we went to a fencing club and had a great 'date' (I whupped his butt!). He got one really good jab at my arm, leaving me with an enormous welt and bruise. I happened to be working that summer for a social worker. At work the next day, she asked me what the heck happened to my arm. I said "it's fine, just David". She was horrified until I explained more! Another fencer on our team went to donate blood. The person taking the blood saw all her bruises and gave her a card with a hotline for abused women!

Lauren - welcome back! New job? Congrats! What are you doing now? I hope this cycle works. It's so frustrating when doctors have no answers except "bad luck". Ugh.

Patricia - I'm sorry you have to push off your cycle. I'm heavier than you (I weight about 95kg and I'm only 5'4) and while my clinic has suggested losing weight, everyone understands that the stress and hormones are part of what's keeping it on. (And not being allowed to exercise vigorously while cycling or pregnant). I've actually gained about 10kg since losing the boys this summer. I need to stop "comfort eating". I have no appetite and the other things I can consider eating is junk. Ugh. SORRY ABOUT YOUR CAR! Nothing worse than when you get in the car, all ready to go (or running late!) and the damned car doesn't do the one thing you want it to do! I hope the repalcement part is cheap, fast and works!

Laura - good luck today! I'm stalking for u/s updates!

Christy - I don't take any supplements, so no advice. I'm wondering if I should though.... We asked our doctor about supplements for D's sperm count, but he said that even the best results from the best supplements would still mean needing to do IVF/ICSI so we shouldn't waste our money. We always assume my eggs are fine (young, respond well, lots of good looking embryos), but maybe I should take a supplement.... hmmm..... --- how do you find out what the "up to" 70% back means?

As for cleaning out closets - a bunch of my friends (and I) have regular clothing swaps. We get together for an evening (with a bottle of wine and some snacks) and everyone brings some stuff from their closet -- nice, good stuff - just things they never wear. Everyone has something they bought on sale, or on a whim, that doesn't fit/look right - or things they just don't wear anymore. It's a great way to get 'new' clothes for free, and forces me to go through my closet every month or two.

Nicole (blue eyed) - hurray for having a schedule! I know that's not the same as actually starting, but it's always great to know HOW LONG you are waiting!

AFM - just another day.

Day 4 of 5 of the Provera. We'll see what happens. Am I the only one who stresses like CRAZY in the 3-4 days after finishing Provera and waiting for my period? I always think it won't come. I don't know why, but it drives me nuts!

Yesterday was nuts -- work and then an evening performance. Today is crazier -- work and then a matinee and then an evening performance! GAH! Tomorrow is work and evening performance.

Of course, I got home at midnight last night and knew I had to wake up by 7am... so I could fall asleep until about 4am. I never have insomia/can't-sleep issues -- unless I *have* to get lots of sleep in a specific time. UGH!

I'm trying not to stress/think about this damned pregnancy. UGH.

Glad to see everyone getting meds sorted out and making BIG plans for 2012!! Congrats WE!!! That is a beautiful line!
Im still a mess. I saw WE's BFP and I thought maybe I'll do a p.m. POAS and it was BFN...then I POAS'd this morning and it was BFN. Im so frustrated...I really do NOT want to make this trip again. But I have a plan. Im going to start running during my lunch break which would be 30min/day...get really skinny. Then when ski season is over, DH and I will go to Denver, go shopping and get a new dress and go to a nice dinner and maybe a play. I will also go skiing a lot. Everything will be ok. I'll enjoy my time with DD and before you know it we will be in serbia again doing the exact same thing with our last 2 frosties. With DD I always had a faint line starting early, now there is absolutely nothing :(
Leora-I cant use any meds, especially steriod cream cuz it is not recommended if you are pregnant. My face is so puffy with red patches, I look like Im 82!
Sorry for ranting on and on and on....thanks for listening!

I had written a lengthy post with tons of personals and tge post monster ate them all. Ahhhhhh
I gave to retype my personals later. I took another HPT this morning and the line really isn't any darker. With the last two BFP's the line began getting noticeably faker right away. I can't stress though, this us nor in my control. So we wait and see that's all. Sending everyone much love abs strength. I will redo my personals later.

Maria -- totally and completely darker than yesterday!(in general, try not to stress about the darkness of the line -- things like dye concentration in that individual test or your urine concentration can change how dark a test is - especially when taken so closely together --- but no worries today -- that line is TOTALLY much darker!)

Hello ladies! :D

Maria- WOOHOO!! I see your line/s !! Bravo! I really really wish this one or two are keepers. I know you want to take a day at a time but seeing a second line on your HPT and this early, is definitely a stage in the IVF process you need to be happy that you passed it! About blood thinning shots, I have been doing them in all my 7 IVF’s and yes they stink and bruise but you get used to them. Even though there’s nothing that says that I should be taking them, both RE’s I have work with during my IVF attempts, have the shots in their “menu” by default. Both told me that these shots are given for precautionary reasons and of course to be ahead of any situation that might occur. So, I have been taking them from ET day(I think) until my beta day. Btw, I never had any bleeding issues with them!

Leora- Seems that you have a VERY busy schedule my friend! May you always have the strength to perform and be excellent in whatever you set your mind to :D I also wish that you soon find peace with what you are going through right now. I have visited both Haifa (since the boat parked there! ), Yesthimani (I am not sure I wrote it well  ...is the place with lots of olive trees), Bethlehem and of course Jerusalem. That was the trip's destination to begin with. I actually went twice. One time was with my mom and another with friends. I’ve always wanted to see the Holy Land. Walk in the old town (loved it btw) see the Wall where Jews pray for forgiveness etc. I even wrote something on a piece of paper and put it in a crack on that wall 8)- Just to go where HE lived. I was a bit disappointed to be honest in the sense that after watching all those movies about where Jesus was born and where they crucify him etc. Finally being there, everything seemed SO small in proportion to the movie  Especially the distances! From where it is said that he was crucified; to where His doom stone is. Also, some things looked REALY commercial/touristic for me :x But I can’t deny the fact that I felt awe being there! :o Jerusalem as a city both from an architectural point of view and by the great name that it carries (Holy Land) is beautiful in its own way. And I am glad I visited  I am not the kind of Christian Orthodox that is going to church every Sunday and light's up a candle everyday (that is what my mom does :D ) and I have questioned God so many times during our IVF journey and I got disappointed by Him so many times but I can’t stop believing in Him. I do pray on my own time and way and I do have a special wall of pictures of saints that I believe in them, somewhere in my house. Besides, they say God is everywhere and not only in a church! Even though I go to church whenever I feel like it. Of course I go on Xmas day and Easter and in weddings/funerals but I prefer going in days when there is nothing big going on in there. If I feel like it I might go and light my candle and do my pray on any given day of the week. I also believe in miracles and I believe that one day He is going to give me a miracle. THAT I believe. ....sorry for the rambling! :| ...

Laura- Good luck on your u/s today! Can’t wait to hear how many are in there!

LauraN- Good luck on your new job and your upcoming cycle! ....The “I don’t know what went wrong” doctors are telling us is killing me! We need LUCK! hell yea!! And they need to come up with something more profound to say! ..anyways, I hope everything goes well for you girl! March is just...2 months away!

Indigo- Where are you? any news? I am keeping my fingers crossed for a positive beta for you honey! :D

Rosie- Yes! The documentary was really good actually! and very educational! :D It was about how web searching and facebook have change/are changing our lives and especially the new generation. Starting from their creation, up-to-date. There’s a series of BBC documentaries that we love watching and this is just one of them. ALL of them are amazing. I highly recommend them. Not all talk about facebook of course but they cover all aspects of sociology/society and human behaviour. ....I loved THE HELP! I cried and cried and cried and laugh and some more cry  ....

Blueeyedreamer- I LOVE your plan!

Ninde- Oh boy! What a day you had! I hope today is a better one and you get to fix that car of yours ...cheep! I pictured you running all day up and down, with this pace you will burn down those extra kg and you won’t need any extra effort! :D What is the blood test for? End of March sounds great to bring your babies home!

Kala- Honey I am sorry you are having a tough time. :( Don’t give up on your BFP yet! Nothing is over until you get that beta! you hear me! When is your beta btw? ...And if it doesn’t work then you have a great plan worked figured out! Enjoy life in between IVF’s is the best thing to do!...I know it is easier said than done  ...but ideally this is exactly what we should do. So what if we get that BFN, we are still alive and kicking! Right! :D And what a better reason than that to enjoy our time with DH! I really hope everything works out for you and you give a sibling to your DD if not this time them the next for sure! So hang in there and keep up that PMA of yours! :)

AFM- Overall we had a great time with our friends and family during the holidays. Lots of food and wine and texas holdem  ...I successfully cooked (roasted) a 7kg Turkey in my oven TWICE! Both were DELICIOUS! First time was for our family and second for our friends! Both in the same week...you can imagine the leftovers I’ve got from the last one done last Friday  ...the first one I took at the carehome....So we have another one, lunch this time, on Friday. THE LAST one for a long time! One of our closest friends, while he was here last Friday night with his wife, asked us if he could come and cook steaks etc for the 8 of us, at our place. They live with his wife and 2yr old son in an appt and they are going to move into their new house they are building, next month. So at the moment they have cartons and stuff everywhere in their appt and they thought our place will be ideal for them to prepare lunch for their friends. At the moment we have the most available/appropriate place for everyone to gather and of course we said yes. :D Situation of friends at the moment: One couple is the one explained above, the 2nd couple is living out of town and they are coming to stay over our place with their 9month baby girl and the 3rd couple just had a lovely baby boy (Lorenzo) last Friday! And of course they can’t host at their place. (we all went to see him on New Year's day! and it was a wonderfull way to start our year! :mrgreen I'll take it as a sign I told DH! ) So, only us left to be able to host. So I am just gonna keep the house clean and that’s it. No grocery shopping, no cooking. On Saturday we are invited for dinner at another friend’s house (to one of our Godson's) and we are going to give him and his other 3 brothers their Xmas presents. Thing is, that there is going to be invited and another couple of friends with their 2 kids and so now I am about to go and buy presents for them too. We don’t feel right giving gifts to half the kids especially since we know they are going to be there.

We bought xmas presents for 12 kids this Xmas! And those are ONLY for our friend’s kids. There are no small children in our immediate family besides my brother’s 14yr old son, which he is also my Godson. I went to the toy store and bought gifts for all of them and when I brought them home to show them to DH before I wrap them up with nice paper and ribbons and put them under our tree, we got sad with DH, staring at all those presents. We were hoping that this Xmas we would have our own babies to buy gifts to. Every year we say the same thing....UGH!!! hopefuly next Xmas we are going to have our own babies and be the happiest family ever! Now that’s our dream. We were happy seeing our friends and their babies but sad at the same time for not having our own YET! while ALL of them have :( You all know the feeling right? :(

....On New Year's eve we went to DH cousin big party and one of DH cousin's announced her pregnancy. she is 25 and got married September 2010 and while we all making toast's for the new year she goes "...well, folowing our first wedding anniversary in Sept we've decided is about time to have a baby and after 2 months of trying we Finally made it! our baby is due Aug 2012!..." FINALLY! Seriously, FINALLY! she doesn't know the meaning of FINALLY!! UGH!! some get it easy some get it hard! realy, realy hard...we are happy for her but still, as soon as those words came out of her mouth me and DH though we got hit by a truck! no, no truck! better say a train!!  :( ...we talked about it in the car later one and we both agreed that people just wait for us to have kids. (besides my MIL and SIL none of DH's relatives know we are doing IVF) they will do what they should do and hopefully next year we are going to go to this party with our baby :D

I am waiting from 3 jobs to call in for an interview! Due to the holidays and being most of the offices closed, they are delaying and this is frustrating!!! :x I believe that by the end of the month I am going to have a job! And once I have one, then we can start planning our next IVF. Woohoo!!! So this could be Feb or March? If I get a job and start in Feb I thought I work at least a month and then start the cycle or the natural IVF I was telling you about the last time. The minute I typed that I realised that what I am saying is SO IRONIC, silly of me, planning when to start the cycle and giving a month to my new job  ...HELLO!!!! as if I am sure this is going to work and one month is ok for the new job and then tell them that I am prego! Hello!!! What am I thinking! Crazy woman me! I should have known better that these things you can NEVER plan! if only we knew when is going to happen! If only! Wouldn’t that be great!!! So, as soon as I get my first pay check I will call my clinic and arrange for an appt to start our 8th IVF cycle. I am excited just by thinking of it!! I even got Goosebumps!!! Please pray that I get a job SOON girls! So I can get on the IVF rollercoaster! I MISS IT!!! the shots the meds the agony the hormones the schedule the everything!! Anything to get closer to that BFP! :D

As of Monday we are on a healthy diet with DH. I got on the internet and found what bodybuilders diet is and I made a weekly program that we are now following. Based on dry food, no fat! I then went on "myfitnesspal" and I put all my measurements e.g weight, height, arms, waist etc and calculates for you how many calories you should eat per day in order to loose weight in 5 weeks and keep a healthy diet. By adding your daily consumption of food, snacks, workout at the end of the day it tells you how many calories you had, protein, fat, carbs etc. On Sunday I weighted 56.2kg and based on that I should eat a total of 1.200 calories per day and by doing that I will weight 52.6kg in 5 weeks. which is pretty good if that happens considering my Hypothyroidism thing....so every night I add what i eat during the day and it tells me how did I do. so far, this is the third day, I haven't manage to eat 1.200 calories and I am not hungry at all! Of course this is not good bcause I should force my self to eat 1.200 cal. otherwise my dody is into sturvation mode and that makes my metabolsim slow. After finishing putting everything I have eaten all day the computer tells me in red bright letters that msg! amazing. Today I am going to add something on my menu to reach my target. DH is doing the same thing and so we are both on the same page which is good for both of us. :D I am very strict with the whole thing. We eat max at 19:30pm and I even shout "kitchen closed" at 20:30! and I mean it!

OMG!!!! You KNOW me that when I “talk” I “talk”! No bullshit about it! so there you go!
I guess I had a lot to share and since I am not cycling I talk about my everyday life until I start cycling again. I hope you girls don't mind :| you are not going to break my heart if you prefer only IVF language here. I will understant :)

Baby dust to us all ladies!!!

On a conference call right now so I can't do persi ALS yet but I did want to share a quick update. Although I had gotten a faint line yesterday on the First Response HPT, I had gotten a "not pregnant" on the Clear Blue Digital yesterday. This morning the First Response again showed a faint line but the Clear Blue Digital this morning bowed a "Pregnant". So I guess we ate moving in the tight direction although very very far away from bringing home a baby. Below is the photo for those that are POAS adicts. Friends, thank you all for your support, prayers, and well wishes. Sending you all love and strength.

YAYAYAYay Maria,
It's official you are pregnant!!!! I couldn't be happier, your success rates for implantation are amazing, now we pray for an uneventful healthy 9 months and bring home a rainbow baby! So glad you and dh decided to give IVF one more try! :D

Bonnie,
Congrats on your healthy bean, that's so awesome!

LaureN,
Thinking of you today! :D

Indigo,
How are you?

Anton,
ALways great to here from you and your nutritional health plan encourages me to track my calories! With me I have trouble gaining weight (I wish others could understand, but I feel it's what kills my chances.) I have trouble turning calories into weight no matter what I eat and doctors only tell me it's nothing to be concerned about? They tell me underweight only becomes a real concern when the women's menstrual cycle is irregular, yet we still want to be in a healthier BMI range. Honestly, I've eatten lots of peanut butter sandwiches where I'm about sick of them. But eatting better could only help to improve the quality of our embryos right? And what's this I hear about canned goods not being good for the quality of sperm, per Beth Riley? I probably read into things too much, but I'm going to focus on purchasing fresh/frozen vegetables instead and refrain from canned foods. We know it's key to getting all the food groups in so I'm going to make a list BEFORE I head to the grocery store today of good nutritional meals. Isn't it crazy how we come up with awesome ideas together! Plus, I will keep my calender right here in this very room where we can chart down everything I have eatten for that day when I come home. By the way I love that we talk about other things besides IVF stuff! :D We have to make a solid plan to move forward and it's going to take eatting healthier to increasing our chances and this will be all worth it WHEN we bring home our babies!!! :D :D  (you know for the morning sickness!)

Leora,
I LOVE your idea about the clothes swapping party!!! That alone would encourage me to clean out my closet more often! :D

kala,
I know the feeling, I tested this morning with "first morning p" and got nothing, so ready to start the IVF already but worried about being physicially and emotionally ready. I wish I could see this working, but when I read about others it gives me some encouragement to keep trying. I only know giving up will not get us anywhere, so we do what we can to move forward into trying again to eventually making our dreams happen. I've really considered surrogancy personally because I seem to blame this on my own self, I was really brokenhearted when IVF didn't work on the first try after we invested all that money, thousands of dollars. So this is why we are now looking at other options but I really hope the IVF Attain Program will give us some peace of mind. I pray for us to have the strength and the determination to keep pressing forward!

AFM: Making some french toast while calling the coordinator back for the program, and then got to prepare my grocery shopping list! Have a great day ladies, muuuah! :D
