Touchy Touchy!!!

It must be the hormones......or the fact you look like you have a space hopper down your top! Ah, I remember it well!!!

As for Val and I talking about YOU, we do have other stuff to talk about!!! Honestly Tracey, the world does not revolve around gossiping about Tracey Sharp you know!!!!! (it does help to pass the time though).

HI Val - how are you?????

Wibbs - how are you finding motherhood? Hard work isn't it? At least you are back in your normal clothes......sob sob, I'm still wandering around in my extra large Abercrombie trousers looking like Mr Blobbie!

love nik.xx

ps does anyone hear from Jackie???

Hi. I'm here again. Wow, the days just fly by.

Nik, I'm enjoying our private discussions of Tracey each day. It's the only break I take between loads of laundry and booby time. Just kidding...
It's great to hear from you. I'm so glad you and the girls are doing so well. Sounds like your sense of humor is still going strong. I bet you need it now more than ever. I do love being a mom too. You're right about it being everything I imagined and more. It's the "more" that keeps it interesting. I didn't realize how little I knew about babies until I had one. Sydney is really smart though and figured that out so she is training me. I think she has gotten herself pretty spoiled. We have the occasional rough spots but then she smiles and I forget all about them.

OK, Tracey, I'll stick up for you and admit that you have never mentioned Nik's bits to me, not waxing or anything else for that matter.

Got to go, Sydney is calling. I'll check back soon.

Love

Just so you know, I know you like to being informed, I'm having my bits waxed tomorrow. Taking the girls to the salon - they are getting ready for their first beauty tmt!

I took them to Bettys on Saturday for lunch, they were sooooooo good, dh and I were v.proud of them!

So they are well into their training for being ladies of leisure, they've lunched at Bettys and Harvey Nicks and have been to the beautician three times already.....and they're only 10 weeks old!!!!

I am intrigued to know why on earth you think Val and I are intersted in your waxed bits or not

You really should write and alternative to Gina Ford book you know - it would be a best seller and could you please answer my question on the DR Browns bottle and how you know what colour the purple thing should be in it!

Love to you all

I thought everyone should know that I'm looking after myself after letting myself go for three months whilst imprisoned!!!

As for Dr Browns (gosh you are getting all mummsy and boring and sensible already.....maybe its a sign that your girls are on their way!!)

Now, as for Dr Brown, they colour thing is a load of b*ll*cks - I didn't take any notice. Its supposed to be pink when cool and when the milk is warm it goes purple....or the other way round. I used the old fashioned method of testing on back of wrist!

I found that if I put a bottle in a pyrex jug by the time I'd gone upstairs grabbed a baby, changed nappy etc and come back down milk is perfect temperature! Cos its pyrex and not metal it doesn't retain heat therefore water cools down and milk doesn't stay too hot! Glad I paid attention in chemistry now!!!

We've stopped using them. After a while they started to leak and the milk wouldn't come out of the teats. I'm not sure they are worth the money - but if you have them, they are worth using until the break!

love nik,x

Thanks Nik

Only got a couple just in case and got off ebay at a bargain price - never used so ok - only got as saw Amelia with her colic and thought.
You have succeeded where all else failed - I do not have a pyrex jug - yikes yikes yikes  Have plastic ones so not the same. Thought you did not heat your milk anyway as when you came over I am sure you didn't? Am i being daft or more daft than normal.
I have two (don't ask) AVENT bottle warmers so should be ok!

Happy waxing and changed your number in my phone now to the main one and deleted the other
Love to you Val too!

Hi ya Girls
I just want to put my tuppence worth in (showing my age)
I don't warm the milk at all...............poor Joshua I hear you say!!

But I just fill the bottles with the water, then add the powder when he needs a feed,MC has a little plastic thingy with 3 bits to put in powder so really the water is always at room temp, this is so when I am out and there is no where to warm up the milk I don't get caught out  (previous experience screaming child not wanting cold milk  ).

Anyway Joshua had injections today (Nasty Nurse   ) cried for an hour after(and Joshua) and very hot, calpol nightmare DO NOT GIVE TO CHILDREN WITH KIDNEY PROBLEMS!!!!!
Chased the Doctor, but she said ok to give so peace at last :)
Bless.........................
Nik how did the girls cope with the injections,?
Tracy hope you are resting, legs up...!!!! are you all prepared?
I have got some good bargins on ebay Grobags, some brand new only 4.50 Joshua love thems.

Oh no must go Joshua freting......

Wibbs

I know more people who don't heat the milk than do for the same reasons.
