Hello ladies,..... just checking in....sorry ive been MIA my dh and i went home to see family this weekend!! Hope that all is well!! I have been so very sick and having back pain like crazy!!!!! Hope you all have a wonderful sunday!

I am feeling quite depressed today. I have no symptoms whatsoever and I am almost 6 weeks. We ll see how I feel on Monday, I may call the doc and ask to do a beta on Monday. Although once the week starts it will be easier because I am so much busier.

Lyd-don't let the fact that you have no symptoms bring you down. Many woman have no symptoms throughout their entire pregnancies. Try to enjoythat fact that you are pregnant. I know, I know, much easier said then done. And I'm sure I should take my own advice sometimes. If getting a Beta on Monday will ease your mind then five them a call. I'm sure your Beta is going to be great. Sending you a long distance hug.

Lyd: Why not just go for the ultrasound on Monday? It's very probable that you'll see the heartbeat and if not, it should be there on Friday. At least seeing the sac would probably do you some good - if no heartbeat yet, you'd see a yoke sac and a fetal pole which could tell you that everything is going good. If you get a beta, there's a pretty wide range of acceptable values at this point (since your beta will be slowing down) - it might not be as reassuring as an ultrasound. Why wait? You could be feeling much better much sooner.

It's totally okay to feel normal when pregnant. I feel fine and usually don't feel pregnant at all. You are not bleeding and not cramping which would probably be happening if something were going wrong.

lyd- I had zero symptoms when I was pregnant with DS except when my breast started leaking at that was about 5 months! My stomach popped out over night and that happened the same day. Until then I had no idea I was pregnant.

Lyd: that sounds really lousy in terms of how you are feeling. Try not to lose heart but I knownthats easier said than done x and dont forget that you felt awful with the ohss and im sure now those symptoms have decreased that its not surprising you dont feel much of anything. Please try and go gently and keep posting so we can keep supporting you

Thank you guys, for your kind words.i dont know why i feel so depressed. I am crying as I type this. I just imagine going to the u/s and it being nothing and I don't think I can take another disappointment. I just don't think I can. I feel paralyzed and scared. Barbara, I don't know if I can even getter a sooner u/s on such short notice. And frankly I am too afraid. Maybe I'll just do nothing till Friday.

And today my DH is down with a migraine so it's just me and DS. And I didn't feel like driving to our usual playground where all the kids and parents are friendly and my DS always has a good time playing with other kids. instead we went to a closer one and that one is in this rich neighborhood and all the kids and parents keep to themselves. So my DS tried to play with this older chinese boy and got hit by him becauses he messed up his sand pile. I was so mad - i could have smacked that boy myself. And his parent was not even helpful. Nothing against Chinese but in this particular case they were so unfriendly. What the heck do you come to the playground for if you don't want to play with other kids? It was just a very frustrating morning.

Anyway, sorry to unload on you guys - I was just breaking down. I feel better now, having had my cry.

Lyd: Do you think that strong emotions that you are having could be a pregnancy symptom that you might have overlooked? Personally, my emotions get pretty intense when I'm pregnant.

Lyd I agree with Margi that betas are very different at this point but then again my beta 3 was in 3000's but my beta 4 was 12,000 a week later and it really reassured me so much so maybe you should get another beta. On the other hand...we saw a heartbeat on 6weeks even so maybe an ultrasound is also a good idea.

Sweety I know you may not be showing classic pregnancy symptoms like feeling sick and sore boobs but reading your posts you are very emotional and I think that some of that is definitely a pregnancy symptom. I was very emotional and cried all the time but the real nausea only kicked in at 9 weeks. Please try to relax even though as someone who has gone through beta hell I understand how difficult it is. I think you are ok and as emotional as you feel you are definitely preggo girl Hugs we are here for you

I felt the exact same way with both pregnancies, especially this one! And it went on feeling like that forever. It is totally normal to feel nothing and get really down about it, but know how typical a feeling that is! You will soon see that all is well. I will warn you, though, that I would be elated for a couple of days after the reassurance only to return to my previously anxious state (what if something has happened since the last u/s????). It wasn't until halfway through, when I was showing and could feel her moving, that I finally accepted that everything truly was okay.

Lyd: I think everyone is right, you are worried which makes you feel all agitated and also your hormones are all over the place due to your pregnancy. When i miscarried in oct it wasnt just my physical symptoms that disappeared, all the mood swings went to - overnight. So odd as it might sound to hear this, the fact you are crying and down is a good sign.

Im sorry your dh isntnwell and about that crappy incident in the playground. Im hoping you can do something nice for yourself - even if its just to use a nice body cream. You need to nurture yourself and be gentle with yourself even when you least want to - in fact thatsbwhen you need it most x

Thank you so much, everyone again. It is always nice to hear that some of you felt the same way - no symptoms, and then it still worked out. Because all I read about is people throwing up and feeling nauseous. No one talks about feeling nothing.
Anyway, Sunday is almost over and Monday will keep me busy at work and the doctors office will be open, too - if I decide to call them.
