Thank you, guys! Tanks Anna for keeping my spirits up when my beta slowed down a bit. I guess it didn't matter. I still can't believe it. It's exciting and overwhelming at the same time!

Amy (kerpupples) - OMG! Yay! Those are definite BFPs! Isn't your beta today? Good luck!

Maria - I totally hear you on trying not to obsess. I've never had BV, but I hope it resolves quickly with the antibiotics.

Laura - oh no! I'm so sorry. This sounds very similar to my missed miscarriage (totally normal hb at 6 wk u/s, slow hb and measuring behind at 7 wks, and no hb at 8 wks). So heartbreaking. Since this is your second miscarriage, will you also be doing all the RPL (repeat pregnancy loss) blood tests? As for PGD, it's my understanding that they can't check for everything. They can just check for specific things and in general that there are all the correct number of chromosones. Sadly, nothing (at this point in medicine) can guarantee a pregnancy or a live birth. I'm sorry.

Bonnie - great news! When's your first OB appt? Switching is always weird, because OBs are much more chill than REs and you'll only see them much less frequently.

Christy - I also wish we had done genetic testing with our D&C, but we didn't. Shucks. How is your Attain application going?

Lydia - HURRAY! That's great news. Of course, in terms of both maternal and fetal health, singleton pregnancies are better than twins pregnancies -- but having 2 healthy babies in there is great news!

AFM - I had that job interview on Thursday afternoon -- and they offered me the job on the spot! The pay isn't much better than what I'm getting now, and it'll be 45 hours/week instead of 35hours/week -- but I think it'll be much more interesting! So Sunday morning I talk to my current boss and see how much time they need me to give before leaving. Hopefully less than the legal min of 3 days (since I've worked there only 3 months, the legal min is 3 days).

Woohooo! I hope this is a good thing.

But since I was thinking of switching clinics to make things easier to work -- this changes where I would want to switch to. I think I'm going to cancel my appt at the other public clinic, and just focus on either the public clinic where I currently am, or trying to switch to the private clinic (like Rosie did). I have an appt there Jan 22 so we'll see what they say.

I can't believe I won't be cycling until we get back from our trip. So depressing, but good I guess...

I just want to start counting down the days until I have a baby, not when I start cycling again!

LaureN- Thinking of you this morning....

Leora- I know it's hard thinking this way, but you so deserve to have a break from the IVF world AND enjoy your upcoming vacation! Glad the job interview went over well, what will you be doing? Oh about the ATTAIN program, we have the baseline and bloodwork done, now waiting on her return call on Monday. I wish more clinics/doctors worked over the weekend. Speaking of that I'm off through Monday while dh started his second job...kind of quiet around here but I'm checking out Youtube videos and trying to learn to crochet, thought it would be neat if I could make something, maybe start with a scarf, then later down the road a blanket? My 90 yr old grandmother did a whole lot of crocheting and my oldest brother picked it up since he was lefthanded and I had always wanted to. So now I'm aking it up practicing right handed with my grandmother's own needle. Dh suggested I could pick some swatches and start painting...but once you start that it's hard to stop. Yes my last house was painted in every jewel tone you could imagine, now I'm looking at boring stalk beige walls.
Nice to have a weekend off but I need to stay busy...

Maria- I love your way of thinking, you should follow every stage of the pregnancy with brand new wonder. Just because we had a rough past, doesn't mean we shouldn't be allowed to enjoy the moment of another chance. xoxo

Laura - they won't guarantee a pregnancy even with PGD. I think the purpose of the clinical trials I did, though, is proving that it greatly increases success rates.
