Kerpupples, Great beta.

Nicole, cheer up for your exercise program. I should have one like this too.

Leorira, I think that it is normal when you want something so badly, you forget there are other nice things in the world. That is why breaks need to be planned and not to initiate when the needs call; because you don't feel the need when you focus on something you want so much. At the same time, you get to take a break to go on a new treatment. I felt physically and mentally exhausted after my 3rd IVF attempts.

Alwaysangel, 22 eggs! What a great achievement!

We, what a cheerful news you gave us here!

AFM, went for an interview last Friday. It is a one-person project management company which is going to recruit 2-3 employees this year. She proposed to hire me as an independent employee, which means I won’t have the company benefit and I have to take care of my own social warfare. In paper, I would earn a lot but it is really up to me in the real world. I still need to do some research on the status as “independence” status.
During the weekend, we Had a nice dinner with the family in law. It was scheduled last year for the father's birthday. No children were allowed but of course my sister in law’s recent pregnancy is still a hot topic around the table.
I had a French exam on Monday. I think the exam was all right but have no 100% of confidence. Belgium has 3 official languages. One has to be good at at least 2 language to get a decent job. It is specially hard for an immigrant to be bilingual.
I will go to a new RE to discuss the result of my last stimulation tonight. Don't know what he will say.

Afm- Dh and I did a saliva test for genetic testing as recommended by our re. They have the results and my nurse will call me today about it. She said not to worry, there was nothing that would hold us back from our next cycle. Just got done with af which means next af: cycle! That's exciting, i'm way over this wait! WE - I am so happy for you! The day I read about your bleeding I got all choked up and my husband asked me what was wrong. I told him about your situation and he also hoped the best for you. When I told him about your beta he too was so happy for you and your DH. He thinks this board is awesome and sees how much it helps everyone.

Laura - I am praying for you today.

AFM - We met with the RE yesterday. (I tried to reply yesterday but my phone went all weird and I had no time at work.) This RE used to be my OB GYN. He delivered my daughter 16 years ago and is the one who tied my tubes. (This was an awesome blessing from God I must say because he knew my history and was the same one who operated on my right tube) He reviewed his notes and said that he only put a clip on my tubes and if we remove them then it's like it never happened. It appears that they were not cut. My right tube was badly damaged 12 years ago because it twisted and they removed a large portion of it. He suggested that we just remove the clip. He is of course still going to test me for all of the other things that could stop us from conceiving naturally and said that if we remove the clip we can still use fertility drugs to stimulate ovulation since I would be working from one ovary. With all that said, I did some research yesterday and it appears that the chances of getting pregnant at our age after a tubal reversal and only one tube is higher than IVF. I know that some of you are doing IVF due to tubal ligation. What do you all suggest? The other thing I was told was to take COQ10 in the mean time but the dosis seems quite high. 600 mg twice a day. Is that what you all have heard? He also mentioned DHEA which is not available in Canada. We are looking at ordering it from the states or taking a quick trip over the border at Buffalo. Of course we are still in the beginning and may still have to move to IVF depending on my tests.

Yes I feel that God has been watching out for us all the way. My hunsband was near tripping over his feet when the doctor suggested this option as we both thought that it wasn't one. The fact that we couldn't do it naturally and this whole IVF process, while my DH was happy to do it to have a baby, he said he wished and prayed every night that God would resolve this naturally. Of course, we still have all the tests to do and see if it will work by the RE is very confident that this will be a no brainer. The IVF with meds was going to cost around $10,000 per try and this will only be around $4000. We could only afford one try of IVF so this whole other option is a wonderful blessing that only the God who is above all things could have made possible.

Maria, oh No I'm sorry this episode is happening again. Is there anything the RE can suggest to do differently to help stop the bleeding?

We: I know how terrifying bleeding can be... I bled/spotted for a few weeks around weeks 5-7. I know that it's tough, but try to be positive as 30% of all pregnancies bleed in early pregnancy.

We, I'm praying you stay calm, absolutely listen to the girls on here who have been through this. I know it's not easy but through God you will get through this. x

Ninde, I hope you have a better day at work with no insanity. With Hershey's I applied yesterday, it feels good to at least try to help contribute, since dh is now working a second job. Yes I feel guilty although it probably makes more sense to focus on the job I have now since the month of May will be right around the corner. Most likely I would have to decide IF hershey's considered hiring me, here lately I've had way too much time on my hands. When are you cycling again?

Leora, Thinking of you as you start your new job today. How is your furbaby? Vegas and Blackjack turn 10 next year and it's so easy to get attached to them, they're just like family to us.

AFM: Back to work today, after having 4 days off, but at least my house has been cleaned and even rearranged the living room furniture while dh was working...

We- Praying things are okay and you are able to not worry too much. I know that's hard though!!

AFM- Not much going on here. DH has his surgery tomorrow around noon. We hoped it was earlier in the day but that's okay. First time he's ever had surgery. I've only had one, a C-section and I was awake the whole time. I know he's nervous and I am too. Just hoping it all goes okay and he is able to use the restroom, handle coming out of anesthesia, and hold down fluids afterwards. Soon as he does that we can head home. He won't have a cast yet which scares us both! He'll probably end up on the couch most of the time so I don't roll on it! Plus his sinus's wake up him at nights and he'll be in here already cause he doesn't like waking me up so his hangs in the living room or the office until he can breathe again!

mommaforthe4thtime - I stalk former cycle buddies on this thread but saw you mentioned tubal reversal so I wanted to pipe in. I had a tubal reversal after having a ligation (falope rings.) For me, it didn't work out well. I ended up with two ectopics within 6 months of each other even though my HSG showed both tubes open a year after the reversal. I lost both fallopian tubes as well as one ovary due to those ectopics so had no choice but to move on to IVF. Part of me wishes we would have just done IVF in the first place despite being self-pay (IVF came to around $14k with meds & the TR was $5k) but hey, in the end we're just extremely happy to have our little one. I've met a lot of women over the last 4 years who have had TR's done - some were able to get pregnant naturally after it, some had their tubes blocked post-surgery from scar tissue, and some moved onto IVF after TTC for a few years so I know it can be a gamble, just like IVF. Good luck with the procedure and I hope the TR helps bring you your little one. (And feel free to PM me if you have any questions on my TR experience.)

wow Gina sounds like you've got your hands full, praying for your dh's speedy recovery! You mentioned cast, did he fracture something?

As For Me: I watched a show called "Anderson" while folding clothes, and learned alot about donor sperm, how ironic that this is twice this month that I so happened to be watching T.V. and a show related to donor sperm comes on. Just the other night a topic about Donor Sperm was on 20/20, it must be a hot controversial topic as we speak! The show I watched today was more interesting...One girl met her "biological" half sister on there. But on the show this one guy talked about individually "manufactures" (as they like to call it) his sperm to more then 100 women. Could you imagine he is the biological father to all those kids??? Anyway they had a reunion for him to meet Sara and Jane and their 2 year old daughter that he helped bring into this world. I thought they are so fortunate to have a healthy daughter. Someone asked if he would someday settle down and have his own family, he said probably not it wouldn't seem right after contributing so much already. The ladies said they spent an average of $800.00 for a small vial of sperm. The RE on the show said it just isn't safe, to do this without going through the right avenue i.g. washing the sperm etc.. I thought why would the FDA be involved this isn't food nor drugs we're talking about. Our Goverment tries to control more then they need to, while I understand it's for the safety of women and our children, but at the same time I feel an average women out there should have enough common sense to screen these guys damn good first. I mean the idea of my possible child out there having 150 possible sibbling would be enough to research this with a fine tooth comb. Most of what I learned is so MANY donors out there don't have proper screening set up to check for medical history or diseases such as STD, Heptitis, heart disease, etc.. Plus the FDA is cracking down on this "manufacturing" business. Still how do we know that the clinics aren't taking the extra collected sperm and distributing it to another women and then that sperm is used to make another child? Still maybe it shows like this that make us rethink donor sperm. The agrument is the FDA wouldn't crackdown on a guy having sex and pregnanting 15 women, but we deserve to make our own educated decison out there!

Christy - He broke his wrist back in Sept! ER said it was sprained and sent him home and said it would heal in 2-3 weeks. So we waited. It still kept hurting and he knew it was broke from the start but by the time he got an appointment, Christmas was near. So finally tomorrow is the day! They will take bone from his arm and place it into his wrist. He broke the bone on the side of it which is circular. If all goes well he won't need pins, just a screw. So hopefully it goes well. He may need further surgeries because it's a difficult spot.

Oh and he broke it hitting a speed bag trying to out do 2-3 other guys! He did beat them though! LOL. I beat he never does that again. Between surgery and recover once he's awake, we should be home about 4-5 hrs later.

Quick post, I know some of you were worried and I didn't want you yo continue to worry needlessly. The bleeding this time was even less then the first time. I had the lower abdominal cramping in and off and lower back pain. Then I went to the bathroom and when I wiped I had a little bit of dark red to brownish spotting. It has since stopped an the cramping has subsided somewhat. My nurse said that this was normal and rawly nothing to worry about sk I didn't want all of you to be worried. I don't really know what to make of all this but I do.know that worrying is not going to make the situation any better. So I have made a commitment to remain calm. Any othertime I would have been freaking our but I've been given the peace and this sense of calmness that only God can provide. Thank you all for worrying about me and for your prayers. Sending you many xoxo.
