Hi everyone. I'm si happy to see so many familiar names here. Congrats to all of you. I'm not ready to make an official switch yet. Just sort of testing the waters. I had my first official u/s today at 5weeks/5days and to our surprise we got to see the flicker of two tiny heartbeats. Both little ones are measuring at 6 weeks. I am still in shock and I don't think it has quite sunk in yet. Well, wishing you all the best and thank you to all those who have been crashing for me over on the Cycling In 2012 Board.

Yay We!!!!! Very happy for you. Let me know when you are ready to make it official. This is it mama!

Long timer- its marvelous to have her in my arms. I think about how she was one of 14 embryos we grew and/or transferred and how she was meant to be ours all along. My Mom says she just imagines her sitting there in cryofreeze saying "Pick Me! Pick Me!". I love that idea.

Bliss - I love that....pick me, pick me!!! So cute that is how I felt when we got Em it happened so fast and I just thought this is why I went through so much because this was my baby all along! Evie is so cute I am so happy for you and don't you just love being mommy!

We - Congrats! I have been following your story and rooting for you (as I do for everyone!) and am so happy to see you over here! Congrats & for sure double the fun!

Longtimer - 30 weeks! Geez time flies! Are you getting excited??

Lyd - Not sure if I congratulated you on your twins but CONGRATULATIONS!!! So happy for you! I always thought three might be nice.....can't wait to see what you have in there! So happy for you

Ester - I giggled so hard when you made your DH run out for some yummy snacks! Your LO's are giving you some great cravings!

Alexis - Congratulations on the twins! So exciting! We hoped for twins to get it all done in one shot.....we only wanted two at the time but now we are thinking after this baby maybe just one more????

ttcnb - How is our triplet mama? You must be getting a nice little bump, how far along are you now?

How is everyone else doing?

AFM - Our world has been a bit shaken up so I have been a bit quiet our 11 yr old niece got diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer.....which is an extremely treatable cancer and after removal will probably have not side effects what so ever aside from taking some thyroid medication for the rest of her life. We are devastated only because she is 11 and we feel so bad that she has been saddled with such a disease at such a young age. She was the first baby girl I ever held and is my god child I am so sad for her, but only showing her strength and bravery. So far she is being tough. Looks like baby O will be born in the next two weeks we are thinking next week but our appt on Monday will give us more information but she will for sure come before February 7th. Getting excited!!!

QOTW - The part I look forward to most is them putting her in my arms....with Em I was able to "catch" her and cut the cord this time I am not sure what will happen but the only thing that matters is when she in my arms safe and sound...ahhh I can't wait it is so close I can taste it!

Katie: Looks like you and me will have a photo finish =) almost 39 weeks and Grady is still not here . . . I heard about that canadian skier who was training in Park City and died (Sarah Burke?) SO tragic :( I was sorry to hear about your niece as well . . . hope she has a speedy recovery! Gish, we can't take anything for granted!

Alissa: Evie is so cute. Glad you are enjoying motherhood :D

We: Congrats on the 2 h/b's . . . come on over when you're ready :) :)

Bodie: with DD, I felt her around 20 weeks. This time around, it was 14 weeks.

Lyd: How nice to have daycare squared away!

AFM: I was so sure I would have delivered by now! Grace was born at 36 weeks and I thought Grady would follow suit. But alas, no dice. I guess my uterus is just too comfy :D He's still pretty high up and I'm only 1 cm dialated . . .

Deft....Sarah Burke yes it was so sad she was such a strong women in the skiing world of men and such a wonderful role model. We actually were at the mountain that day and saw her training...we were taking DD skiing and the little run is right next to the super pipe so we saw her & saw the emergency crew but didn't know it was her until later. She had a relatively easy looking fall from what I understand and just hit the right way...really sad....I have had some terrible crashes especially when I raced and been hurt so bad and with each one you realize that you have to crash just the right way and can seem like nothing....it is too bad that the Sundance Film Festival is in town right now otherwise we would have had a tribute to her sooner but we will have to wait until after the festival is over. Yes I know we are going to race to the finish line but I am thinking that we will be right around the 30th of the month that is my guess right now! Can't wait to meet our LO's!!!! So excited we are here, we are here we are here! YAY!

Hello everyone. I was thinking of y'all today while I was having my ultrasound. The u/s went well. The baby is healthy and they estimated weight at nearly 7lbs. The bad news is the baby is breech. I think they said a kind of transverse breech. Baby's head is under my left boob (facing down) and then the spine is along the top, rear under right boob, legs and feet at my cervix.

I've heard horrible things about what they call a version so I told my midwife I do not want to attempt that. She told me about some natural things we can try to turn baby so we are going to attempt those and see what happens.

I just have to laugh as here I am seeing a midwife and hoping for a drug free delivery and it looks like I might end up with a c-section.

I'll be busy working on trasncripts all weekend. Just when I'm caught up, I get a couple of big orders. ugh ugh ugh Oh well it is what it is.

I need to read and catch up since I last visited.

Just curious....

Are any of you (or were any of you) paranoid about what you ate when pregnant? I seem to be ULTRA paranoid that I am going to get listeria or food poisoning. I freak out everytime I put something in my mouth
Please tell me this is normal? The OB's make such a big deal about what you can/cant eat that it's totally thrown me over the edge.

Crazy pregnant woman here

Hi Jen! With my first pregnancy, I had a subway sandwich and freaked out because of listeria. My OB calmed me down and said that listeria is rare. With this pregnancy, I've eaten sushi, sandwiches, etc . I even accidentally ate a moldy piece of banana bread! Ehhhh! Don't tell ;) no alcohol or cheese, because I wasn't craving them ;) It will take a lot to hurt your baby ... You can microwave lunch meat, get sushi that is cooked, etc. I was more paranoid the first time around. With this baby, I'm way more relaxed ;)

Hi Ladies and DragonDad - I hope everyone is doing well.

Alisa - it sounds like you're having the best time with your LO. How did the jaundice situation work out?

Moorebaby - I am still hanging in there.

Katie and Deft - I am excited that you both will be meeting your new LOs in less than 2 weeks --- Yeah!!

JenMink - I have not had that worry about food but I had aversions to everything especially protein. As long as you stay away from raw fish, raw eggs, undercooked meat, unpasteurized milk products you should be ok. Your OB/Peri could give you a list of foods to avoid and council.

AFM: I am still moving along - 2 days to 29 weeks - and continuing forward. My "bump" is HUGE  . I have visits 2 times per week now and I am beyond uncomfortable but I hope to make it at least 5-6 more weeks. Bedrest is definitely working for me and my non- existent cervix

Just an update from Ying.
Chloe Chu arrived on 1/16/2012 at 8:34PM via c-section. She weighs 8lbs and 1oz and is 20.5 inches long, very healthy. :D
I've been extremely busy with the newborn for the past several days and didn't get time to get on the board to update everyone.
I was induced at 41 weeks exactly and went into labor for 20 hours and still only dilated at 6cm and then stopped from there. Decision of c-section was quickly made by the on call doctor which I really appreciated it.
I'm so happy now. DH and my life is complete now. :D
Pictures later, I promise. :D
