Hey all! You'll never guess what popped out of me!
Grady John was born at 10:05 Tuesday morning... Typical chromosomes and 100% healthy! I'll post more later, but I'm so glad he's here!

Deftonesmo: WOO-HOO! I can't wait for pics!

I had the NT ultrasound today... The baby looks good and the nuchal fold was under the threshold. The tech gave us a guess on gender although I already saw something on the screen before she said anything. The baby looks like a boy! Since there's a great deal of uncertainty at this point, we're not telling anyone (except here) and we're not buying anything until we get a confirmation in a few weeks.

Happy Bunny/Barbara - Congrats on the great scan.....we were so relieved when we had our scan and they said all looked well! And congrats on TEAM BLUE....possibly! We are team pink team pink and we are happy but a part of me still thought it would be nice to have one of each....who know maybe I can talk DH into three! Hahaha....I doubt it since the two cost us most of our life savings & our second life's savings....but who knows!

Ha. Isn't that the truth!!!!! People that get pg so easily and don't have to go this route really have no idea of the expense. Our little one isn't even here yet and people are asking if we will have more. I feel like saying "We would love more. Would you like to contribute to the IVF fund" LOL LOL LOL

On one hand, I like hearing the good news but on the other hand, I hate going to those scans because I'm scared to death of bad news.

Two girls is going to be a lot of fun for you. When we discussed it, we thought that it would be really fun for Brooke to have a sister. Sisters have a special relationship like none other. And as a second bonus, you can reuse clothes!

Hi ladies just wanted to pop in and announce that the gender ultrasound went well. We are so excited we are having a little boy!! My OB said that everything looks great and we are all set for a "normal" pregnancy. Such music to my ears after all we have been through. Anyways, will pop in later for personals, I need a nap

fvrogers - Congrats on the BOY!!!! So happy for you....and congrats on the "normal pregnancy" we all deserve that since we do not have a normal making of the baby!!

Happy Bunny/Barbara - I have only brothers and my whole life when anyone asked me what I wanted for my birthday or Christmas or whatever I always said a sister! So I am pretty happy to get to share in that experience with the girls it will be fun for all of us and especially for DH who is already so taken by DD that two have two DD's will be pure fun!

Longtimer - I always laugh when people say having a baby is so expensive we just couldn't have one or another one right now we just don't have the money. And I think to myself as I self paid for everything, IUI, IVF, Donor egg IVF, Adoption......I am not rich but we just made it work! That sort of burns my hide when people complain about that. As Emilee entertains us each night with one of her shows we think will she be able to sing, dance or act? $$$$

Nancy - I am not sure if you know my story....but we had a series of procedures always got pregnant but could never hang on to the babies. We basically gave up when we got the phone call from Emilee's (DD) birth Mom and she said she was pregnant again and did we want to adopt the baby....it took us about a second to say YES!!!!! So I feel great physically but adopting comes with its own set of worries and concerns....we feel pretty confidant but until we have her home in our house we won't breathe very easy. Ahhhh us fertility challenged ladies are a strong bunch and no one could ever say we didn't want to be parents with every fiber of our beings! Good luck at appt and keep us updated...we go on Monday for one final check and if all looks the way they want then we will schedule the induction for Friday February 3rd....Oh I just realized you get the big gender surprise on birth day! Ok so I want to guess...answer me a few questions....what was the HB rate? Are you carrying low or high? And if you put your arms at your side and then put your arms in front of you are your hands up or down?

Bliss & Deft - how are you ladies doing with your little one's? Deft post some pictures....dying to see your LO....Bliss how is Evie sleeping? She figure out that day isn't night and night isn't day yet? That is what I remember most about Em she would sleep all day and be up all night! Post some pictures ladies

We - I read on the other board that you saw & heard the HB's that is so exciting! So happy things are going well! I am going to guess two boys based on the old wives tail about the higher the HB the more likely a girl and the lower the HB more likely a boy.....I pray for you (an all the other ladies) that you have a very healthy un-eventful pregnancy!

AFM - Things are well.....we are just waiting for our little bundle....I bought a few hospital outfits today....since it is currently snowing & cold I bought some cute little snuggly outfits to have her wear in the hospital and bring her home in....she will be wearing a little sis tee-shirt so it will be special for Emilee too....can't believe we are so close a week from Sunday she will be home with us!!!! I am freaking out a bit for sure but getting excited too.....
