Sue - hoorah, 4 follies! I just did a time conversion and realized you've already had your retrieval. I do hope it went well!

Lyd - thinking of you and your beans today too.

Alexis - I just noticed your DS and I share a birthday. Hope he's feeling better. Interesting info on twin pregnancies, mostly encouraging. I'm just praying that if I do end up with twins that I don't also have another previa. The combination sounds like a certain prescription for bedrest. I may just join the August thread if all goes well on Tuesday.

AFM - no more bleeding at all, hurrah! Been very careful with the Endometrin since and drinking tons of fluids. Today is a good day. No heartburn at all and hardly any nausea. Knock on wood!

oh Lyd--I am so very sorry about your twin. Big hugs to you. But I'm glad that you've got one going strong and measuring ahead. You must be feeling so many emotions all at once.

I had my retrieval and was super-excited to get 4 eggs! But now super-disappointed as only 1 embryo fertilized and divided properly! (1 egg was immature and 2 eggs did not fertilize.) Our transfer is tomorrow morning--a 2-day transfer since they already know what it going back inside. So worried and hope this one embryo is a fighter. I'm even worried it will make it through the night to transfer. Feeling a lot of doubts as I think my eggs are just too old now--i've never had a fertilization issue or a 2-day transfer in any of my other cycles.

Lyd - that is bittersweet news indeed. You doing OK with it? I'm sure that last bean is hanging on tight.

Sue - I'm really hoping that your transfer went through.

AFM - more bleeding yesterday. More bright red and continued longer than previously, so I was put on bedrest and they moved my u/s up to today. Phew, I'm glad that ultrasound is over and done. It's no fun waiting around to figure out why you were bleeding. Turns out that I had a subchorionic hematoma. They called it a "big bleed" so I'm to take it easy, but they still didn't sound particularly worried, since they said they see it in about 90% of their twin pregnancies. Yes, it's official, I'm having twins! We saw both heartbeats but they were only able to measure one due to the position of one of the babies. Next ultrasound is on Monday, 1/13.

Sue: Best wishes! During my first cycle, one of the girls in my cycle group conceived with a single embryo (was it Lou?). She has a baby girl now. It just takes one - the right one.

Kerpupples: Congrats on your twins! Bummer on the bleed but I think that I've seen more twin pregnancies bleed than didn't bleed.

kerpuppies--so sorry about your bleeding! But glad your doctor is not alarmed and has identified what is wrong. I hope it stops soon.

I had my transfer yesterday. It was a 2-day transfer and my embryo was 4 cells. I am feeling pretty discouraged and trying to prepare myself for a negative because a know this is a long shot. But you can't help but hope for that miracle. Feeling pretty blue.

Sue, I didn't track at day 2, but at day 3 my DD was only 6 cells. So you never know! Sending you positive sticky thoughts.

So much news since I've last been on! Oh my gosh!

Sue, thinking lots of positive thoughts for you! Are you going to POAS? When is your beta?

LYD, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of one of your twins. How are you feeling about everything? I'm glad the other one has such a strong heartbeat.

Kerpupples, so scary with all the bleeding, but so exciting with the TWIN news! I hope you have been able to take it easy and the bleeding has much improved. I also have my next ultrasound on 2/13. I am so eager to see the little ones again!

Barbara, how are you feeling? Are you showing quite a bit now? Have you told people now?

AFM, things are going well. We heard one of the two heartbeats through the doppler at our first OB appointment. I'm not super worried, but you can't help but wonder if everything is ok. I will feel much better after I see them again on 2/13. I'm still hungry all the time and pretty tired (and have horrible insomnia!). I keep thinking I will be into my maternity clothes any day, but so far my "big girl" jeans are still working. I have to leave town on Sunday for a work trip, so I will have to pack maternity clothes for that. Normally I work at home, so jeans or sweats is fine, but for my trip, I'll have to look presentable!

Sue, keep us posted on how you are doing! Talk to you gals soon!

Kerpuppies~Are you still bleeding? I hope that has stopped and you can relax a little.

Alexis~So glad things are going smoothly and you saw one of the heart beats. I am sure you will be relieved to see them both at your next apt.

Lyd~I hope you are doing ok and not too sad about your twin.

Happy Bunny~Glad that you are doing well. Is it tough taking care of your little daughter while being pregnant?

The 2ww is killing me. My beta is 11 Feb. I feel very down--and the pregestreone is making me so exhausted and sleepy. I feel guilty being low energy and irritable for my little girl. I'm just relieved she won't remember this period in time as she is only two. All I want to do is nap! I Have never POAS before during any of my cycles. But I am feeling tempted this time. When can you expect to start seeing a line?

Hi ladies... Just checking in to say hello and catch up.

Sue: I hope that you are doing good. Any news?

I'm doing good; just trucking along in my early second trimester. I've finally got my energy back so I've been on the internet less and in the kitchen making fun food instead.

I still haven't gained any weight but my pregnancy with Brooke was like this with only about 12-15 total gain so I'm not worried - Brooke was 7lb 12oz. I'm starting to crave EVERYTHING so I'm sure that a few pounds are in store for me. Despite no weight gain, I've got my prego belly starting to grow and I'm in my maternity clothes. Recent visits to the doctor have shown a healthy me and a really active, healthy baby.

Taking care of Brooke while pregnant can be a little exhausting, especially now that she's so active and mobile. I also developed pregnancy carpal tunnel in one wrist. I have to wear a wrist brace so that I'm able to pick Brooke up. As far as I know, there is nothing that I can do about it so that's kind of a bummer.

I hope everyone is doing well and will post back with great news!

Hi ladies, sorry for my absence as well. I was on business travel last Wed. - Friday. While I was gone my father-in-law passed away (not unexpected, but a very quick decline), so I rebooked the flight home to Phoenix where he lived and was there until yesterday. I was concerned about more bleeding with all that travelling, but I have been just fine.

Barb - 12 - 15 pounds, lucky! That takes no time at all to drop after delivery. I'm a little concerned as I started out 10 pounds heavier than DD's pregnancy, and I'm already up almost 5 pounds at just under 8 weeks. I know you gain more with twins, and I gained 25 with DD. Luckily I lost that easily (and then some) so I'm hoping to do the same this time.

Alexis - my normal pants are already tight. I'm wearing a pair of DH's old jeans that don't fit him anymore. Aagh! Hope your trip didn't run you down too much.

Lyd, how's that bean?

Sue - even with twins I didn't see a hint of a line until 6dp5dt. So I'd guess today would be the soonest you would see anything too.

oh my goodness--tomorrow is my beta! I am so scared. I keep trying to prepare myself for the worst--but there is always that hope that maybe this worked. I have not POASd. I was afraid it would make me feel even more crazy wondering if it was accurate. And I was a bit worried my trigger is still in me as I take two trigger shots cause my eggs do not release easily. I am feeling all kinds of symptoms--sore boobs, exhaustion, twinges, moodiness--but I know this could all be due to progesterone! Sheesh--this is tough.
