Can someone explain if there was a fluke in the lab?
In Feb of 2011, my day 3 FSH was at 10.3 and AMH at 0.4.
In Jan of 2012, my day 4 FSH was 47.0, and AMH at 0.16.
When I went in for my annual gynocologist exam, he wanted to retest my FSH (I'm 35 years old, and based on the age, he wanted to make sure it was really THAT high).
7 days after the Jan of 2012 test (day 11 of my cycle), my FSH was down to 10.1.
What does this mean? I know you're as high as your highest FSH number, but going from 47 to 10.1 in the same cycle? I know I'm not doing great, given my AMH is down to 0.16, but could the 47 have been accurate? Isn't your FSH supposed to be even higher on day 11?
