Thank you for your conmforting stories, ladies. The wait for the u/s can be very hard as you know. I keep telling myself everything will be fine. But I am still going to be very worried until I hear that heartbeat. I thought about getting a Doppler tonight but it wouldn't arrive until Monday anyway. And even if I had it what if I couldn't hear the heartbeat then I would have a really crappy weekend.
I am excited next week is going to be calmer at work and my husband just got an offer to work at the same company so we ll be working in the same building just different floors and divisions. Just close enough but still far enough part not to get in each others business. It's a real big company so no danger of stepping on each others toes.

Now I am just hoping that Monday brings good news!!!

Moorebaby-I love your pics. You look beautiful. I hope this was a one time episode and that it doesn't happen again.

Lyd-I know waiting until Monday is torture but I know everything is going to be just fine. I can't wait to hear all about your u/s and how well your little bean us doing. I'll be praying for you all weekend.

AFM-Unfortunately, I had some bleeding yesterday but I didn't panic. I also have a sinus infection and was put in antibiotics yesterday. The antibiotics really dis a number on my stomach last night. I went today for my last u/s with my RE. We have officially graduated to OB. First official OB appt in 2 weeks. I'm so sad though because I love everyone there. Well, both LO's are measuring right on track. Here are some pics. You can actualy see the blood between the two sacs in the pics below.

Lyd....Awesome that your DH will be in the same building as you that will be nice...I stay home & run a business from home and my husband is a remodeling contractor so we eat lunch together & sometimes meet for walks or take a few ski runs together etc...when time permits. It is pretty nice to know you can get together but you don't have to either. I am praying all is OK as I am sure it is as many others have indicated.....you LO is just fine & snuggling in

Moorebaby/Ester.....Awesome Pictures! Thank You for posting them they are great! You all look so happy & you look great! Sorry about your scare but happy you were at school where a nurse is present & can look after you! I am thinking that the number 13 is definitely my number...too many coincidences! I guess we should have gotten married on the 13th! Anyways yes I am as ready as I can be...I have done it before but going from one to two is a bit scary I envy you for just going none to two so if you decided to have another it would be easy! Haha

Longtimer.....I know you are probably bored on bed rest but take this time to relax since once LO is here it is go time! In terms of all the pieces together yes we are ready, ready to have a newborn again yes but I am scared....I am spoiled with a good sleeper and has been since 3 weeks old so it is a bit daunting to go back to sleepless nights & who knows for how long! i hope she will be a great sleeper like Em was!

We - Great pics of your LO's....so exciting! I can almost make out on the picture of Twin A little head & body....love the gumby bear stage so cute.....you are very close to the 12 week milestone just around the corner!

Hope everyone else is having a happy Friday we are in get the honey do list done before Tuesday weekend mode! Hopefully we will get it done! Happy Weekend......

Sorry to have been so quiet .. its amazing catching up on everyones progress pictures etc.. Hopefullly time for personals later..
Life has been crazy the last few weeks.. i had started new job in November and I was spending half my time in LA which was miserable..Not that i dont like LA but hard to live out of hotel and be away from DH and the dogs so much.. and it didnt look like it was going to get better.. anyway they realized how moserable i was and also agreed that the role really needed to be in LA .. so they bought me out of m 2 year contract.. a miracle really..

more importantly Yesterday My surrogate came to NY for her CVS test. I saw the baby and heard the heartbeat for the first time.. baby is measuring right on 10 weeks 6 days and the arms and legs were wagging away.. I was TOTAlly overwhelmed!!
The nuchal was 1 so that was a relief and We get prelim results from the CVS monday afternoon so hopefully will be good news!! and we will know if the bean is a boy or a girl.. wow

Sorry to be so self focused but i have had SO much going on.

WOW NY4thtry....what amazing news sounds like a miracle that they bought you out of your two year contract that is amazing....when I take on a new contract I sometimes day dream about that happening to me (I am a software programmer)....but alas it never does! So exciting about your sweet baby and such amazing news that all is well with baby and that you will know the sex on Monday it really sank in when we knew if it was a boy or a girl then we could day dream about our LO and really imagine how our lives would be....so exciting that is just great news!

You're materity pictures turned out quite beautiful, you and dh look so happy and know going to be the proudest parents homecoming day! Congratulations once again, you and so many others I have come to know remind that there is a happy ending throughout the uncertainty, sometimes we may have to wait until we least expect it but for those who do hang on with perseverance are going to make it far, and become mothers. Thank you for being one who has always given others encouragement. This is your time and I will be stalking you and a few others till homecoming day. It's going to be a big year!

Hi Ladies!!

Deftonesmo - Grady is adorable!! Congrats!

Tuffy - I cannot believe we are both having boys!!! We are true cycle buddies. How are you feeling?

Bodie - How is the swelling? I started having swelling in my hands and feet last week. I was traveling and had been on my feet and walking very long distances. By the end of the day my sneakers were so tight on my feet!!

Jen - How are you feeling? I am so sorry that your midwife was so horrible! If it is any consolation, my OB said that once you pass week 14 your chances of miscarriage decrease significantly (I do not recall the exact percentage he gave me). You are right not to want to see her again, you do not need that. There is enough to worry about. Anyways, try to stay positive. First trimester is behind you and you are sailing right through the second. Isn't it awesome to feel the baby move!!! When I first felt it I was not sure if it was baby or gas. But now he moves so much, I know it is him. He actually gave me a few little kicks today and DH was able to feel. DH said he was just getting ready for the SuperBowl.

Ester - You look awesome!!! The pics are adorable. I think I will wait until 30 weeks to take mine. DH will be away for work then, but my bump still looks a little like fat so I would be afraid to take them earlier. I cannot believe that you are 26 weeks already. You will meet your little ones in no time!! Are you nervous? DH and I have moments of anxiety and we are having just one, I think we would be a nervous wreck if we were having two! Sounds like you are doing a good job preparing. We decided on the name Samuel - will explain when I answer the QOTW. How are you feeling? No more strange spells I hope. Have the checked you for anemia? I was having a little dizziness and found out that I was a little anemic.

Lyd10 - You are in my prayers for smooth sailing on Monday. Enjoy your ultrasound, I just love getting a peak of my little one. I am sure your will be fine. How far along are you? I bought a doppler and had trouble finding the heartbeat until I was about 13 weeks or so (I think). But Jen was able to use hers easily much earlier so you may want to consider getting one for peace of mind.

We - Welcome aboard!! I am so happy to see you hear, you truly deserve an easy pregnancy. I cannot remember if I mentioned that I also had a subchorionic hematoma. I stopped bleeding right around the beginning of my second trimester. Sometimes it was bright red, other times it was brown. The best advice someone gave me was not to look when I wiped, and as hard as it was I stopped looking and it made me a lot calmer. Try to hang in there. How are you feeling? Is the nausea any better?

Dogzrule - How are you feeling? I hope these last 2 month are uneventful and pass quickly.

NY4thtry - Glad that you were able to see the heartbeat. It is so amazing how emotional these ultrasound appointments can get.

AFM - I am feeling pretty good. I went home to the US Virgin Islands for a week with DH to share the news with those who we did not call as yet. I also got to spend some time with my niece who I had not seen for almost 2 years. She is 4 years old and is the most adorable child I know. DH and I do not have much family here in Virginia and my family wants me to come to the Virgin Islands for part of my maternity leave. DH and I have been going back and forth on how much time I should take off. In the end we decided that I would take a year off. I am so excited to be able to spend that much time home. However, I still need to tackle the subject at work with my boss. I am not too sure she will hold my position, but we will see. Worst case scenario would be I would go on terminal leave when I start maternity leave. But at least this will give me time to travel home and spend time with my parents.

Our gender ultrasound was so emotional. DH was just so cute and overwhelmed when we saw Samuel waving at us and moving around. And then when my OB announced it was a boy - let's just say it was a priceless moment. DH was grinning from ear to ear and all I could say was I told you so (since I had already felt it was a boy).

QOTW - We decided on the name Samuel. It is a family name and we had long stated that we would name our first son after my husbands father and grandfather who are both named Samuel. Because we have family all over the place we really just called one or two people and let them spread the good news. The only person who I made a big deal about telling was my mother. She and my dad were cute when I told them over the phone. My dad's first response was "I need to get a baby seat for my bicycle" (he is an avid cycler). It was too funny.

Anyways, I FINALLY decided to post a bump picture! I am also sharing Sam's ultrasound pics.

Hi ladies, had my 10 week u/s and things are looking good! Phew, I was relieved.

Got a bunch of bloodwork coming up - hopefully will get low risk for genetic abnormalities will know in 3-4 weeks.
