AFM- It is so hard to keep up with everyone with a LO...especially now that my LO is starting to behave a little colicky in the evenings. I can't complain though. She is sleeping well at night and is even starting to show signs that she is ready to extend her first night sleep. I have had to wake her at 4 hours to feed over the last 2 nights. I am so tempted to just let her sleep and see how long she goes but I want her to be well nourished. Speaking of...she has been napping now for almost 4 hours so I think it is time to wake her up to feed. Ta Ta for now... (no pun intended).

Hi ladies, had my 10 week u/s and things are looking good! Phew, I was relieved.

Got a bunch of bloodwork coming up - hopefully will get low risk for genetic abnormalities will know in 3-4 weeks.

Lyd: Just to prepare you... A vanishing twin can cause your blood work to be abnormal when your baby is fine. If your bloods come back abnormal, don't panic. Be sure to mention it to your doctor.

Hello everyone! I'm sorry that I have been MIA. Life has been a bit crazy, so I'm going to have to do some catching up.

Lyd- So glad things are going well now. I'm still praying for you!

Ester- Your pictures are gorgeous!!! I was really hoping to have a maternity photo shoot, but I don't think it's going to happen...more on that later.

Fvrogers- Congrats on Samuel! It's great to hear that everything is going well!

Alisa- It sounds like Evie is doing well! I'm glad she's a good sleeper!

Maria- Glad to see you officially on this side!

AFM- Appt yesterday did not go so well. It started with my NST. Babies are doing well overall, and they responded well on the NST, but I was having contractions. The RN doing the NST spoke to the doctor, and they decided to check my cervix...apparently it has softened. So then we had an ultrasound. Babies look good, and both are vertex now! Unfortunately my cervix is down to 1.87 cm. They couldn't do the fetal fibronectin test because of all of the KY they used to check my cervix, so I go back Thursday. So they went ahead and gave me a shot of betamethasone, and I go back today for a 2nd shot. It's making my glucose go through the roof! I'm so nervous that these babies are going to be here any day! I really want them to stay in for at least 3 more weeks, but they may have their own plans. The swelling on my legs and feet is tremendous, but no protein in my urine, and my BP is okay for now. I am now officially on bedrest. Quick question for anyone that had the betamethasone....does it cause contractions? I've read both ways on that question.

Wishing- sorry about the bedrest! Keep those babies baking. I can't say whether the beta shot caused contractions for me or not as I was already having them. It's fmgood that you have had the shot either way. Take care of yourself!

Just a quick update an pictures later baby Olivia Wolfe arrived today at 12:11 with ten perfect fingers an ten perfect toes. She weighs a petite 6 pounds an 13.5 ounces an is 17.5 inches long. Unlike her brown eyed raven haired sister she has strawberry blonde hair an blue eyes....we are exhausted an going home for naps before we head back to hospital......we plan to bring her home Thursday morning.....

Thank you for the prayers ladies. They've moved my fetal fibronectin test up to tomorrow, so I'm on pins and needles...Had my 2nd shot of betamethasone today. I haven't really been having many noticeable contractions, so that's encouraging. Just keeping everything crossed, and saying lots of prayers.

Wishingandhoping- best of luck with the FFN test!!! hope it is negative and you can breath!!! welcome to bed rest!! make sure you stay hydrated and lying down... I'm here if you need company!! Hope your little ones will be able to stay in there for a while longer... but at least they already got their steroids!! ... I don't think steroids cause the contractions.. it's usually the other way around - you have contractions and then you get the steroids...

Lyd - glad your little one is there and doing great!! as they said... the vanishing twin will give you abnormal blood work results... so don't be scared... my MFM told me he would not do blood work on me because it would probably turn out abnormal and there would be no way of knowing if it was the vanishing twin/hormones or if something was really abnormal... so try not to get upset no matter what the results are...

Bliss- I'm so happy little Evie is behaving and is sleeping so well!!! congratulations!! Already a month old!!

Moore- Wonderful pictures!! you look great!! and thanks for the list!! it makes following everyone's progress very easy and helps us see who's next!!!

Maria- great to see you're all doing great!!

Lyd - So happy that the US went well and your LO is thriving. Best to just take this one milestone at a time to not make yourself crazy. It will be more enjoyable and better for you and your bean long term .

Longtimerivf/Moorebaby - I am hanging out on bedrest and babies are still in for now (will share the next milestone below).

Katie - BIG CONGRATS on Olivia Wolfe's arrival!!!!!!!!!

WishingandHoping- Prayers work and as you know you can go far with a short/soft cerivx. I don't remember if you had a cerclage but gravity will be your enemy so stay horizontal as much as you can. I have no cervix left and have been pushing through for a month (granted I have 2 cerclages in ).

AFM:I have had a chance to catch up on most posts but it has been a little crazy for me. Since my last post, I have been in and out of the hospital for elevated BP and what was thought to be the inception of PTL but all ended up being status quo. I am having multiple visits with my peri per week now and today was a big growth appt. Since we have been closely watching Baby C for IUGR this was a really important one to see the trend. It was just not great for C and now B has dropped off as well. They are not at all stressed so she is going to try to keep them in but scheduled them for delivery in a week. Valentines Day babies!!!

I am in love for the second time (actually the third since DH was the first) she is so teeny tiny compared to Em and so white & strawberry blonde & blue eyed.....Em is auburn haired with carmel eyes & creamy beige skin....so they are very different but they have the same looks & look so much alike.....The birth was fast as it was last time but SS was in a bit of pain her epidural was wearing off and that was tough on all of us....we didn't like to see her upset.....she let DH stay in the room so he saw her be born which he didn't see the first time around and it was amazing for both of us....we will bring Em to the hospital tomorrow then bring her home on Thursday and we go to court on Monday...it is all happening so fast! Off to bed need to rest up for the sleepless nights ahead.....post more pictures soon....you ladies are the best I couldn't wait to let you all see her & hear about our day!

Lyd: my second trimester b/w came back as high risk. Although I didn't have a vanishing twin, I came across a lot of studies at to why IVF pregnancies have a higher false positive rate and vanishing twins are one of them.

Arm: i'm still stalking these boards.... Haven't had much time to post, but I do enjoy keeping up with all of you...
