H ladies, thank you so much for your feedback on PIO. I stopped on Monday and it's been fine so far. I also started exercising again on Wednesday . Felt so nice! I have so much more energy right away. I do spin classes for exercise. With my DS I cycled up to the day of delivery because it is so low impact. I am hoping to do this again. My ob said that all pregnancy symptoms are much easier nd better with exercise. Here is hoping!

I am now waiting for the results ony materniT21 test and my nucal is on Thursday. Keeping my fingers crossed everything checks out I am going to be 11 weeks this Tuesday.

Moorebaby- WOW you're ready for everything!! congratulations on getting so many things for your little ones!! Hope you feel better from your anemia and enjoy getting all those great gifts!!

Katie- how are you doing? Hope you're enjoying having your two girls at home!!! I told my DH your story and his reply was: "wow! that's a lucky lady!!" and I have to agree!!

We- how are you? almost out of your first trimester!! congratulations!!

AFM- had a little scare yesterday... had been having a lot of contractions since thursday and yesterday after I showered had some liquid dripping on my legs... so off to labor and delivery... had all sorts of checks... was pretty scared... but ended up being nothing... (guess I peed on myself)... got sent back home with the contractions and have been resting all day... got so nervous last night that I cried... well today has been better, less contractions, but still nervous... Apart from that scare, everything has been going fine... Hopefully this girlie won't scare me anymore until delivery!!!

Longtimer- so glad to hear that you LO is doing well...I know that must have been a big scare. The good news is that you are far enough along that she would be fine!

Lyd- Glad you are doing well, and able to exercise! Good luck with all of your testing. I'm sure it will be perfect!

Ester- Sounds like you are going to have everything ready soon! So exciting!

AFM- Still glued to the bed. It's boring, but if it holds these babies in, it is well worth it. I'm praying for at least 2 more weeks. Next appt on Monday for another NST. Thank you all for your prayers!

ester - i am doing great. thanks a lot for asking. so happy to see you passing all the milestones in flying colors. i always admire your positive attitude and very very happy to see it getting paid off..loved your maternity photo session..very creative and cute…

longtimerivf - so glad to see you almost near the finish line!! happy to hear that the baby is doing fine in there and hope you don't get any more scare before your due date.

jen - we havnt cycled together..but i used to follow your 1st trimester bleeding episodes very closely and used to keep you in my prayers.. im very happy to see you cruising smoothly through the 2nd trimester..

we- im happy that you figured out the cause for your last miscarriage and have fixed the same this time..congrats times 2..you deserve double the joy..unfortunately they couldnt find the cause of my miscarriage and im really praying that it won't happen again..

afm - after a completely unexpected miscarriage in my 12th week last time, i took a break from the board for some time. i was very scared to join the thread, this time around..yesterday we passed a major milestone - NT scan..we learned that we lost our last pregnancy during our last NT scan..so we were very nervous around this time..i know we have to go a long way and anything can happen..but breathing a little easy after the NT scan…

my last due date was march 4th..i am very glad and thankful to god that i could join the same thread with a due date of august 24th in the same year..

keeping everyone in my prayers.. i will slowly catch up on everyone's updates..

Hello my friends:

I just wanted to pop in as I'll probably be out of touch for a couple days. I go into the hospital tomorrow afternoon for a mag sulfate treatment and then I am scheduled for c-sec on Tuesday at 1:30 PM. I am excited to meet my LOs even though I would have liked to get 2 more weeks. My body is really starting to break though so I support the decision to get them here.

As soon as I can I will post an update and I pray you all continue to do well.

Sunshine- CONGRATS! Its great to have you join us. I am glad you made it in 2012 as well.

Katie- How are the girls? She is BEAUTIFUL! How is Em doing with the new baby? We do have a 2011/2012 thread over on the Parents After Treatment board. You should join us there! As you can imagine the board isn't very active because we are all busy keeping up with babies. But there are some great ladies there.

Wishingandhoping- hang in there hon! Its not easy I know...you have been so strong. Keep up the great work.

Longtimer- glad your little scare turned out to be a false alarm. Whew! It must have been quite frightening.

Ester- you are the best! Thanks for being such a terrific list mistress. So great that the babies are already past the 2 pound mark.

AFM- Evelyn is just wonderful. Over 5 weeks now! Of course in adjusted age she is still only 2 weeks so she is still very much like a newborn. We go in for a weight check tomorrow because we had an interesting little visit to the pediatrician last week. I took her in for a weight check and it turned out she had LOST 5 ounces in a week. Yikes! But we were using a different scale so we went back to the scale from the previous week and sure enough it appeared to be weighing heavy by 12 ounces. So we think it is just an error due to the scale but they want me to come back tomorrow just to be sure.

I am finally getting out and about with her on my own. Its tough to do post c-section because that carseat is heavy. I went to a La Leche meeting last week and also took her for a walk at an indoor track (put her in a sling and she zones right out).

I am crazy tired...but so content and I have finally stopped worrying so much. Sheesh...the first few weeks I thought I was going to lose it. Its just so hard to believe we finally have our perfect little one.

Watching the grammy's while Evie naps. I can't believe she is still asleep (she is normally active at this time). Could make for a long night... but hey...I don't have to work tomorrow!

To everyone I didn't mention above...following you and thinking of you all. Can't wait to welcome some more babies over to the Parents after Treatment boards.

Quick note...NST was great today. No contractions, and babies are very active. Unfortunately I'm now dilated 1 cm, but I guess that's not shocking. Just want o hold off a little longer!

Hi Ladies....

First and Foremost...Congrats TTCNB! I am sure the doctors are doing what is best for you & your LO's and if your body is starting to break then it is time to meet them....can't wait to hear all about it and see their little faces....you are going to have Valentines Day babies!!!! So exciting!!!

Shout out to Nancy....where are you my dear? Did I miss your post....did your LO make his/her appearance? I think we were tentatively scheduled for same day the 7th? Give us an update if you can....thinking about you

Bliss....Oh my gosh it is pretty difficult because Em is so in love but is also not understanding why we are spending time with Olivia and she is sleeping in our room etc....Olivia is a pretty great little baby she goes to bed around 9:30...10:00ish and sleeps for 5 hours! Yes 5 hours...then she is up about every 3 hours so we are getting a pretty good stretch of sleep but the first three nights was brutal just to get used to not sleeping 8 hours in a stretch....we are adjusting & figuring out how to be a family of 4 had our first outing today to get lunch with the family and Em sat at the table saying this is my family I love my family Olivia is so cute....we were all almost in tears! Can't believe Evelyn is 5 weeks! I just remember we were about 2 weeks apart so it makes sense that she is adjusted to 2 weeks. How are you doing? Getting in to a routine? OMG I just saw the picture! To die for so stinking cute! Love it

So happy you joined us I know it is so hard for us girls to really believe 100% this is happening but so happy you are joining us and that you feel confident & happy which I know is a tough thing to do when you have had loss. Adopting I didn't believe she was really mine until today when birth mom relinquished her rights now I feel like we are a family. I finally feel at peace. Welcome again and I will enjoy being a part of your journey.

Longtimer....Scary! So happy you are far enough along though that it would be ok if you had to deliver early but happy it was just a scare and now you are ready when it does happen....aren't you getting excited you are about to get the best present ever!

Lyd...I believe that exercise is the answer to everything....even just when I take a quick 10 minute dog walk I come home & feel better just getting your heart rate up even for 10 minutes is a helpful for our moods....happy all is well....

Ester...For some reason it seems like time has flown for your pregnancy....I can't believe you are in the third trimester already....awesome! You will meet your LO's very very soon!

Wishing...I know bed rest sucks but this is the best gift you can give yourself and your babies and it is just the beginning of the sacrifices you will make for your LO's that are all so worth it....hang on girl you are doing great!

Thanks bodie and everyone else for your well wishes hope everyone else is doing well and babies are cooking along just as they should be.

So we have figured out that birth mom was a bit off on her dates & she was about 3 weeks early all is OK though. If you all remember in the beginning birth mom was fuzzy on last period dates so our first due date was Jan 28th, then Feb 28th and then ultimately Feb 14th and birth mom really pushed to have her a week early since she was uncomfortable so Dr said OK but he wanted to do a scan just to make sure. When the scan was done she actually was tracking about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks behind which would put her back at Feb 28th so we had another visit for a stress test & checked her lungs and since birth mom was practically hysterical if she didn't deliver soon he caved and let her deliver the 7th (we knew all this but being adoptive parents you don't have many rights not until baby is born and she gives the baby to you)

So needless to say we had her Feb 7th..she was so tiny it scared me but they kept saying she was fine but when the on call pediatrician came in he was asked if she was a premie and when we said no she was induced he was surprised and said she has all the signs of being a premie (which would explain her small size and intense sleepiness). So we now know that she was about 3 weeks early and should have cooked a few weeks longer but she is fine and passing all her tests, gaining weight eating properly etc....but it totally scared me and I am just happy she is all ok and healthy! We did the relinquishment this morning so she is officially legally ours we are relieved and finally feel relaxed!

I will post some more pictures when I get some time so in the mean time be well....
