Nicole: im sure the weather does suit your mood. You have always amazed me with the strength you have both with the ms and the ivfs you have been through. Right now im sure it might be hard to feel that strength but im holding it for you x

Maria: any better?

Christy: seriously not like you to be Mia - you ok?

Adkelp: that's wonderful!!!! Best of luck

LauraN: relay good to hear from you. Im glad you got some results but im sure its been a trying time for you and your head is probably spinning. With the 3 day and 5 day question - can you do half and half?

Afm: went to see "a dangerous method" about feud and jung. Interesting but not as much psychology as I had hoped. Fantasitic performances from ciara nightly, vigo mortinson and michael fassbender.

Thanks, Patricia. It's hard to hold out hope. My poor dh is trying but I don't think I'm helping him. I told him not to hold his breath for the results tomorrow. I have read of success stories but it is extremely rare.

Laura- If you are able to pay for all of this, make sure you ask the pharmacy for cash pay discounts. Freedom Fertility took care of that for me. It brought my med prices down to $3000 from $5000. You can search online too for meds from Europe.

Awww thanks Ninde :D and you're right it's unusual that I don't post at least once a day. I've been covered up in work and then last night dh and I went to see that screenplay that I mentioned..."The Big GoodBye!" I loved it, the drama team at the college was so awesome with a good mixture of murder w/ suspense (kind of like Alfred Hitchcock) and of course it was seductive with the soldier and his mistress. The opening act was a young girl in a beautiful strapeless long black gown detailed around the middle with crystal beading...with ruby red lipstick sang a jazz song and I loved that the screenplay dated back to the 1940's during the civil war, taken place in our hometown. I definately want to get the book and compare notes but I promise not to venture out to far away. I'm trying to also research adoption, speaking to my best friend in Alabama and also I know someone personally who once attended the church with us before they moved to Texas, so faceboook her and she's sending me an adoption folder in the mail. I sometimes wish we only had one agency to choose from here, with so many it's easy to get lost so I'm looking for very good referrals. I also purchased a notebook from Hobby Lobby to jot down everything, (you know how I LOVE to write)... One the first page I wrote a short but sweet letter to our child. I know this would be the way I would want our child to find out in reading all about our journey. I did briefly speak to dh about adoption on Friday, told him I've been networking with some people, also asked if he had a chance to talk with his boss who also adopted but they were so busy this week, he promised that he will eventually. He agreed that it would be conflicting to adopt and go through IVF at the same time, there are upfront fees with adoption. But I still want to have the paperwork filled out and a profile "LifeBook" maybe a homestudy if we can? Anything to make the process easier when the time comes...

Gina- Any updates on dh's retirement? That's so awesome that you found those furniture bargains, I remember back in Georgia during tax-free weekend, we went to Rockmart and bought all our furniture for our first house in one day. It included our living room suite and our guest bedroom, but I had the best time picking it all out in 4 hours. Dh and I can be implusive shoppers! :D

Akdelp- I'm pulling and praying for you, :D Come on BFP!

Maria- Thinking about you and wondering how the weekend is treating you. I hope you have found some food that those babies can agree on. Keep drinking plenty of water and give us an update of when you're next appointment is. U know you'll always be family over here! :D

LaureN- It's been too long but good to have you back on the IVF train! I've been riding in the back way too long and cannot wait for May to get here, I pray Spring will bring us much happiness, our well deserving BFP! I know this road hasn't been easy but I keep telling myself we have to remain optimistic to have a positive outcome and I'm always here to cheer everyone on!
I know what you mean about the cost of meds and the procedure, the PGD will give you the best results for quality in this upcoming cycle and I really hope you are able to freeze some for a FET. My last clinic recommended PGD testing too, but said with all testing involved we would have to transfer with a FET. So it's new to me and pretty neat that the RE would be willing to transfer the embryo on day 6. My RE always recommends blastocyst, he can tell more about cell divison at this point, versis a 3 day transfer but each clinic is different and we know some of our former buddies have gotten pg over 3 day as some have on 5 day, so I know the chromosome testing is more important at this point. From what my doctor said, in many cases testing will answer our question for THIS given cycle but won't give us a diagnosis which was what dh and I were initially looking for. I think for dh and me, we were looking at PGD from the wrong angle, we just wanted an explanation, but I'm gathering that if we want the best quality outcome for any given IVF cycle, PGD might be the way to go. Although I personally still worry about implantation and that's why you have the FETs to back yourself up. Hopefully little by little we can narrow everything out and make something happen. :D

Blue- I know it's disappointing but don't you stay too long in the rainstorm because miracles do happen, and soon it's going to be our turn and we'll be finally bringing our rainbow babies home. I am here for you if you need me at any point during this journey don't hesitate to call on me for anything. I wish this could be an easier process for you but when it is all said and done and you hold that little baby in your arms you will understand then and only then why God allowed you to go through anything and everything you are enduring right now.x

Good for you, Gina!

Well, the beta went up. Not a big jump, it only went to 15. The nurse said come back on Tuesday so we can monitor it. She didn't give me any sign one way or the other as to if we should have any hope.

Ninde, unless they measure your body fat by submerging you in a tank of water, those bodybfatbmeasurements are bogus and have a very large margin of error.

AFM, nothing much - having a busy weekend with friends and DS, doing some cooking for the week. My next appnt is not till march 23. So I've got no news till then.

Good Evening Ladies!
My foot spa is so loud one would think I have a jacuzzi in here, lol I only wish! Happy dh found some epson salt from around the house and set up my foot spa in here, my feet were so tired from working all day. I really don't remember much from the weekend, isn't it crazy how time slips away? haha I hope I can still say that during the next 2ww! Dh said we received a package from the IVF Attain Program today. I cannot believe all of this is right around the corner and just so excited to get going again! March will be busy with finalizing the application, Spring Break (family coming down) and of course dh's birthday...It's crazy but I'm doing everything I can to keep myself busy so May will hurry up and get here. :)

Blueeye-
It's good to stay cautiously optimistic. Please us know what happens on Tuesday. I'll certainly be praying for you and dh.

Ninde-
How are you dieting overall, I do hope you are eatting ok. Good that you are staying busy with the seminars at work, but be sure to take some time out to chillax and pamper yourself to a spa day. I cannot wait to hear more about your upcoming IVF cycle.

Lyd10-
Thanks for posting over here to update up tonight, how have you been feeling overall? I know Thursday cannot come quickly enough for you, but you must be so excited. I cannot wait to see some beautiful ultrasound pictures!

Maria-
Thinking of you girl, update us when you can.

Fruit-
Did I hear you'll cycling soon?

Amanda-
What wonderful news on the upcoming cycle in April. I think Leora will be cycling with you. Nothing more that I want to see some BFPS on here!

Hi sunshine, sorry I guess I forgot to mention - I did have my ultrasound on thursday and all looked good. It was 11.5 weeks. They did nucal measurements and those were in the normal range. That's the first step in genetic testing. Still waiting for some more Blood work to come back and then 4 weeks from today I go back fore more bloodwork and more genetic testing, the QUAD test. There is lots of genetic testing in California.

We told a few people but I had a friend in her 40s whose genetic tests came bad and she did an amnio and it was bad so it didn't work out for her at 20 weeks. After this experience I am so cautious. That I am still holding my breath with every test.

Lydia,
Wow I had no idea that California requires so much genetic testing. I'm sorry to hear about your friend's experience and you cannot help but worry about the well being of your own baby. But keep praying and have faith that everything will remain fine. The first test came back fine and you will pass this other testing with flying colors! This is your time and I will remain praying and cheering you on all the way through one baby step at a time. Please keep us posted as well w/ March 23rd appt not this Thursday. Btw, I'm updating this message, because I realize I looked at the calender wrong, lol I'm really trying to speed things up around here! x

Patricia- How do they measure your fat%? We have some handheld electronic thing that is measuring mostly water content. We take 3 measurements and average them if necessary. Maybe you are retaining water because of the diet change? There is a margin of error so I wouldn't worry to much about it.

I'm feeling ok. I'm crampy and started to have very light (super light and only on tissue) brown spotting. Other than that, not much else is going on.

I did almost pass out this morning. I woke up, stood up, and then stretched. I put my arms up over my head to stretch and then everything started to go black and I started falling over onto the bed. I didn't go all the way out but was super close. I usually see black spots or kind of gray out when I get up in the morning. It's a blood pressure/heartrate thing. I haven't had any problems with that in a long time.

Did you all have a nice weekend? Yesterday was slow. DH had to work, then we went to get our wedding rings checked, and then went for yummy Mexican food. Today we got to be lazy. Had the blood draw, then a nap! How nice. I went to a sign language group meeting tonight. It was fun. I got to meet some new people and find a new sign teacher. I'm so excited to have the next week off. It will help me a lot with dealing with this low beta thing. Ghost didn't sound to promising in his response to my post. It's not over till it's over so we will keep on hoping.

Julia-
This board is so big, I personally am guilty of not sending personals out to everyone everytime, but feel this forum was designed for questions and support as needed. No need to feel overwhelmed just know we are here for each other and we're cheering you on to your BFP! Can you believe this time next month you will be PUPO...so exciting isn't it? :D

adkelp-
Definately give it a few days...we know those hpt can drive one insane! I will be praying for you this week.

blueeye-
Did you let your doctor know about the heart/rate blood pressure episode? You have been through so much lately with this plus all the concern with your neighbor, I hope you will be able to breathe soon. Maybe a nice massage would help? Who am I kidding a full body massage always helps! So set that massage up this week. :D

AFM: work and then more work and finally some time off on Wednesday...I cannot wait!
